U don’t need to it’s just a slip on aka trash. It still sound like stock. I hate people that say bolt on etc when it’s just a slip on after the cat for looks
appreciate the comment brother. When this video was created, I would have grandly appreciated this advice. Now, I finally have a garage and a proper work bench + tools ;)
Torque wrenches. Any other tools you recommend? Because I’m looking to work on my own bike rather than pay someone hundreds of dollars like how I did before on a previous bike. If you have the time to respond that would be nice, thank you.
How much louder is it with the link pipe? I have an arrow pro race and the pre muffler box but I want to change to a link pipe to make shock services easier. However I don’t want to annoy neighbors or be too loud when passing through areas like forest preservations, etc. Should I be concerned about that?
in the 19+ zx6r, maybe earlier years too, the pre muffler box doesnt have the cat in it so it really isnt much louder to replace the premuffler with a link pipe! As soon as you remove the stock headers with catless, youll be screamin
I see you’ve previously installed the slip-on, and now installed the mid-pipe. I’ll be checking your other videos but just in case you haven’t and I didn’t see the video yet, are you planning on installing the headers? Or just keep the OEM headers on? Also did you get your bike ECU Flashed?
@@gitaround5097 man that’s cool. I can’t wait to work on my bike and install a full exhaust system. Definitely want to get the flash. Thanks for the response.
@@gitaround5097 because the headers are stock even if they’re titanium it still is a 3/4 exhaust. Very close to a full system but it isn’t considered a full system!🤘🏽
hey man, i have an arrow slip on and i am planning to put a mid pipe, it will not remove the cat converter wich is a bit in the back, do you think i should flash it after? will it change the performance if i dont flash? will it be dangerous for the motor if i dont flash? thank you man

Question: I’m installing a M4 GP19 slip-on onto my 2021 ZX-6r and I’ll be eliminating the cat-converter along with adding the servo buddy. With that being said, is a flash needed? Does it ruin the bike in any way if I go without doing this?
@@gitaround5097 the resonator is after the cat correct?.. I can remove the resonator and connect it to my slip on using a mid pipe with without a tune?
What diameter does that centerline you installed have? will be 50 or 60mm.
Do you have a sound comparison vid of with the sound resenator vs without the resonator??

Love that you have a great bike and do all your work. For god sakes invest in some good tools my guy. Torque wrenches are like fifty bucks.

@@gitaround5097 ah ok. Thanks. So what I’m hearing in the video is more of a tone change than volume level?

Sure i guess

Sucks u haven't git an answer, I wanna know too
By any chance Do you know the size of the pipe that connects to the resonator?
If this still helps I asked SC project and they told me the pipe is 60mm OD
do you put gaskets anywhere on ur setup?
Did the link pipe make any difference in the noise?
yes
Sounds good!
Comprou esse link pipe aonde amigo ?
Hi where u buy this mid pipe please share link thnks

Once the cat is removed, a flash is recommended. Short term (

@@brianc1481 Sounds right. A tune is going to be most appropriate after a full exhaust install mainly because of the cat delete
Slip on don’t need tune…. Unless it full exhaust system where you take the whole stock one off
