So which web hosting provider is a better choice? I can tell you that both are great options! In this video I let the facts speak for themselves. I like both Webhosting provders. I host websites at Siteground and Hostinger and am in contact with both companies.

I just changed from Siteground to Hostinger. Pretty easy but siteground has been bugging me about running out of space. The emails they were sending were not particularly friendly to say the least.
Customer service chat was okay at Siteground and Hostinger too. They both helped quickly with the issue I had.
I was already thinking at moving away from Siteground. They’re just way too expensive. So your tutorial about changing to Hostinger came at the right time. And I have a free domain. Got a great 4 year deal with your discount on top of that. So I’m a happy camper. I’m Dutch 🤣
Thanks for your tutorials. Two years ago I made an awesome website in Elementor-Pro with an empty theme. Followed your tutorial step by step. Damn I’m 71. I’m an artist. Not a pro webdesigner, but I did it.
Lekker bezig
Hi Elisbeth, that is very good. To be fair, I'm with siteground atm and I want to move. Much like you, it's pricing. I love SG they are really good. Good tools and good dashboard and good services but the renewal fee is a killer. I am an agency and my case is very different, I have tons of site and to move them gonna take a while but I have to do it this year... otherwise more bills!!
I took advantage of your Hostinger Cyber week deal and bought a hosting package. I have been watching your WP tutorials. Do you have any recommendations for themes or plugins to create a minimal library catalog site for people to check out books? (Trying to help a small church that has a lending library track their in & out of books). Thank you!
What plugin do you prefer for caching and website speed without hosting at one of those two
My eCommerce site continuously exceeds the CPU seconds and size allowance on Siteground so I’m moving to Hostinger this week. According to their support I’ll now have 200GB compared to 20GB and 600,000 Inodes compared to 300,000 and will have 2 CPU cores which will handle my CPU usage. At 3rd the price. Their support is not as good as Siteground. It’s very slow and tedious and only 1 out of 3 personnel actually answered the questions I asked and it took 2 days to do it. Siteground is the best support of any hosting company I’ve experienced. It’s instantaneous and the standard of their staff is exceptionally high. 99.99% of them are mature, professional and friendly. So I’m sad to leave but I have no option.
Thanks for the great review Ferdy. It’s very helpful!
great comment to no why you moving !
How was the switch to Hostinger? Would love to hear your opinion of the two now that you tried both?
@@pauldittus unfortunately it didn't work out. They kept on taking my site offline. I've moved to Nexcess. Expensive but they're really worth it. My site is fast and 100% uptime. Great service too.
Yes Site ground support is pretty good
Thank you, Ferdy. I think testing mobile speed is more important to really see the difference. Can you incorporate that into future tests?
What’s the redirection plug-in you’re using Ferdy?
I've been in Hostinger for almost 2 years now. They're Hosting Plans are superb and budget-friendly. 👍:
I'm on a Shared Web Hosting Plan - Business Web Hosting because I'm on a tight budget. And the performance of Shared is more than enough. Even if you're in a Shared Plan, their performance is super excellent. I extended my Shared Plan to 4 years. Their support is amazing.
My 1st and last Web Hosting - I highly recommend it - I'm talking about my experiences.
Ferdy. how are you? I would like your opinion. what do you think ? to create web site, Divi (Elegant themes) or Figa? thank you!
Great content Ferdy, what is the plugin that you use to import a website?
should i buy multiple plans for different websites or a single big plan is enough?
I use hostinger and I love them, there customer support is great too! Only a good experience with them I can’t recommend enough
Thanks Ferdy, quick question. Can you give us you honest opinion between Hostinger and Namehero. Which one will you go for?
Thanks for running "some" numbers, well done.
I've recently transitioned from SiteGround to Hostinger, I couldn't stomach the renewal price. I have to say I much prefer the administration interfaces, seems to be a lot more flexibility in administration, and the transition of the sites was super easy. So far, so good ...
Great to hear that Ric. Yeah, the renewal price is crazy. Years ago it was so much better.
@@ferdycom
total for 4 years $518 or $158. when this deal will expire?
totally agree! :)
same here that renewal made me off
Thinking about jumping to Hostinger myself. Which interface did you prefer? I was a bit confused by your statement above.
And ferdy could you make a video how to migrate WordPress website from one hosting to another one manually .
Hi Ferdy, I have migrated back over to Siteground from Hostinger because their customer support is the pits. and yes Siteground is more expensive but I have found their customer support is second to none.
My experience with SG is that they actually help you resolve the issue there and then. Hostinger, when they eventually answer your query, it is generally with a link to an article and bye bye, have a nice day.
I much prefer quality support over a few millie seconds in speed and a few extra $€£. Be Goodish :)
also very happy with siteground lol it might be more expensive but service so far was better then expected, the entire subscription is litteraly 1 website of revenue and thats a shitty job :P if your just parking domains your better off with namespace or whatever
I'm due to renewal with hostinger and there's no special on renewals.
Hi... when is the offer ending?
These lightweight test sites would run fast on any host to be fair.
I'd like to see a proper test done with a real-world website using several plugins, blog posts or custom posts being loaded to the test page, a contact form, some google fonts and a lot of images.
And it would be good to test against Cloudways Vultr High Frequency instead of another cheap host to see whether the saving in money is worth the speed trade off.
Also I looked into Hostinger, they are still using SSD storage. NVMe is on the roadmap, For a long term commitment, I wouldn't consider a host not using NVMe yet. Except for a basic blog.
Hey Jason, thank you for your insights. For now I wanted to make a comparison between Siteground and Hostinger. NVME is on its way at Hostinger.
Great video! Both of them are great options but I like Hostinger best. You get the speed at a great price.
Hostinger for sure
Due to the space allowance it is not possible to run 10 domains on the site ground grow big
I'm currently with Siteground and I've has no issues, but it seems to be a bit pricier as I'm curranty paying monthly at $29.99, so that's why I'm here now, looking to see if Hostinger is better, thanks for the video
I had issues with them, like if a problem pops up they don't really solve it, then they did nothing that cheaper options don't do. I am moving to hostinger.
@@dylanb2086 hmm good to know
Recently I moved from namehero to hostinger , until now everything is perfect and the hostinger team migrate my 3 website's very fast and soon I'll migrate the remaining website's
May I ask why you left namehero?
I have been on Hostinger for couple of years their support team is commendable but the draw back is absent of live chat which is a turn off. I get a excellent score on Desktop view speed but on mobile view speed it doesn't add up. You could compare desktop and mobile view speed using those tools.
Hostinger sounds nice, the siteground customer support is awful
i live in the UK. can anyone explain, why (for a 48 months plan with the ferdy discount code) it costs £206 but if i change the location to US, it only costs $155? can i legally purchase from the US site at the lower price?
Yes, you can do that legally.
@@ferdycom thats great news....thanks 👍
But how do you get round the different address/post code requirements?
@@RobSnowdenYou can buy a domain name and hosting in the US or any country with a VPN. If they need an address just make one up. You can register your domain with any address, hide it with security and that's it. When you start making over 25k usd a month, hire an accountant for advice about where to register everything. Until that point, nobody really cares.
thanks a lot...👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
waiting for the next videos
You should make a comparison video between siteground, hostinger and Namehero. I think Namehero has the best speed because if their litespeed functionality and cpanel control
Namehero is a little pricey, especially those newbies who don't care about speed, thus I'm going to go to hostinger.
hi i would like to ask you something plz, about siteground plan they give you unlimited web site and 20GB web space, is that mean 20GB for each web site, or for all web site that i make? thank you
no for all of site... I
Great
Great Video Ferdy, I Sent You A Video To Your Email 🤝
I used your code again.... Thanx
Good video

There is no expire dat for this price yet.

Yes speed is important!! - But support is also very important, and that has Siteground nothing of. I was customer at Siteground for less than one week 🥴
That is interesting. I have always loved the Siteground support. But I hear more people that have similar experiences as you had.
@@ferdycom I worked customer service for Walmart USA, from Honduras. The representatives vary greatly in experience and knowledge. You can get a newbie agent or an experienced one at random
I love Hostinger's support
I have had a terrible experience with Siteground. Somehow I messed up the database and I wasn't able to recover it. They should have provided a backup and when I needed it there was none. I ended up losing my website and started all over. Siteground never again!
hostinger is the better deal, i have hostinger and siteground but the price and performance as well as the support is better at hostinger the support might be slower but have a higher quality
Yeah, siteground support has been really bad
How slow is the support? Do you need to wait weeks/days?
👍
I have used both siteground and hostinger..
Siteground price for 1 years 100$
Hostinger price for 4 years 100$
Wow - hostinger is the way to go. I came here from being angry and siteground lol, freaking robbers and pretty low quality customer service
@@dylanb2086 don't know about der customer service...but when it comes to price hostinger is the winner...you can also check out sitecountry if you want..they have cheapest cloud hosting.
its so easy the answer is for sure hostinger as lon as faster+cheaper
For sure, plus siteground had a lot worse customer service than I expected
hello1 in fact after the expiry of 2 years with siteground I switched to hostiger . I work between Italy and Brazil.
Awesome
I am Hostinger fan ❤️
Two of THE BEST period!$!
I’ve got about 50 clients on SG for 1-3 yrs and not a single complaint in any way (except for my $497 and $700 package renewals this year ha but still well worth it) and I have about 70 of my WP demos on Hostinger but they get very little traffic so I wasn’t really aware of them being faster load times than SG wow
Siteground I wouldn't say is one of the best anymore
In my personal opinion Hostinger is the best by far
Do you automatically get the upgrade features of wordpress i.e plugins, domain name, etc if you get the hostinger plan?
Don't know why should I use them when managed cloud hosting is super affordable and costs less than this. Specifically siteground sucks
hostinger is easy and fast. only very bad / slow support with no experience. in the end they come up with almost no solution.
Hostinger has bad surpport and if you need to update your site you will need to pay more for features. Cheap in the long run. I don't think so.
I think hosting is the worst possible hosting platform! I’ve been with them for the last five years and feel so excited and blessed to be out of contract. I bought specifically a large amount of data space on purpose for my specific type of files. They refuse to allow me to upload any individual file size larger than a logo picture That was it! max size and no matter what I had proof of purchase they did not care, they would not allow it. Locked it up cost hundreds of dollars more to do a temporary fix. Wretched business practices.
i choose neither as both have terrible tffb
Which hosting provider do you prefer?
did you mean ttfb?
Customer Service on Hostinger, sucks.
What is the best web hosting provider with a package that includes: hosting, WordPress, email (with catchall account, too)? GoDaddy just started charging for an email with website (used to be free) now $72 a year! for each domain! I have 20, that would be nearly $1800 per year just for one email (and no catchall account).
Definetely Hostinger. Right now their Cloud Hosting Plan is availabke fir just $9.99 per month.
@@ferdycom does it include email with catchall account, free WordPress installation app? For just hosting, their price is $2400 a year for 20 domains. Is this really Ferdy who is monitoring this channel?
What about NameHero? No fan anymore? Should I switch?
Hey Toni, I am not familiair with catchall accounts. Are you referring to Siteground with the $2400 per year? I pay € 220 per month at Siteground for Cloud Hosting. At Hostinger I would pay $30 per month for the same plan. After the discount $60 per month. So with 20 domains you would pay $200 for all the domains + $120 for the webhosting at Hostinger.
Still a fan 😊 I personally prefer the Siteground interface over the one from NameHero and with NameHero there were a few manual staps I had to do that I did not have to do with Siteground. But I would stay at NameHero if I were you 😊
I prefer Siteground cause they have a live chat 24/7, With Hostinger you have to do everything through email and that is a waste of time when you need an urgent solution
Great
