I am a drummer who has been blessed to have worked with a lot of people. I am also a drumming instructor who teaches many different music genres. In fact, I just wrote this out and taught this to my students just TODAY! Glen most definitely captured this iconic half time shuffle, and played with terrific energy and style! I think that Glen did a tremendous job here. Let's all remember that it's difficult to hear any kind of subtle ghost notes when it is being played LIVE, and the band and vocals are wailing away. It's not like it was when Bonzo (whom I love) was recording this in that studio in Stockholm where the mics picked up the "felt" ghost strokes. Anyway, Bravo to Glen for his fantastic, inspired, authentic drumming!
The drum beat in this song is absolutely ridiculous to pull off, and honestly I couldn't hear anything wrong with it in this cover. Nice job to everyone.
Drums are off actually..... But yes, it's a tough shuffle to pull off properly! John's ghost notes from the snare and hats is really the key to this one. Love playing this song!!
And don't get me wrong..... they did a great job! No hate here!! Nice to see these songs played live! I wish live music would come back strong in clubs everywhere!
Wow.. This is a very difficult song to pull off live.. One of the few drummers to nail this song.. Bravo sir! Lead singer is also amazing.. All around tight band.. well done!
For all who don't know the drummer Glen Sobel- he tours w/Alice Cooper and other big acts and I think teaches at MIT in Hollywood...super solid drummer
You're performing mental gymnastics. The issue is with the omission of the fact that it's a cover, one which was clearly misrepresented as an actual Led Zeppelin Soundcheck. And as with Karuna Tenahashi, it's sad that you go out of your way to misrepresent your content.
Thanks! That was nice .. huh .. I'm a bit surprised to be honest. Indeed very nice .. thumbs up coming in three two one .. -> there! [edit]: I *ACTUALLY* had to listen to it twice because it was so nice. Just lovely. I'd pay to listen to this.
The cover is great don’t get me wrong. The band is on point with everything. Singing is better than what most people can do. I just think their stage presence needs to improve they’re just standing there when it’s a jam song you should be dancing and jumping everywhere all over the stage man especially during the fast part
The Singer and drummer lacked confidence in this video, but had the voice and skill to pull it off (band was too loud in the mix). Singer and drummer - go up there and OWN it, play and sing the shit out of it. BE Plant and Bonham. You have the skills. Act like you do and you'll be greater
Im very big Zepplin fan from like literally since 2013 so I know my LED-ZEP very well !!!! All the songs like better than the band itself( lol ) This version is just alright?.......the one on the CD with the brown bag is much stronger!! Like I said I would know.
Finally a cover with a drummer who isn't playing to fast. Good shit.
Too.....fast.
its gotta breathe a hair... good job tho...
No way you can pull this off without a great freakin drummer. Don’t even attempt. Great job!
And 3 people to replace JPJ.
This song is all about drums for me.. I love how the drummer is nailing and enjoying the hell out of it while doing it :)
IMO this is Johns finest work
Drums the best part of this song 🎵
The drummer is always the make or break detail for me with covers of this song. Very well done, gentlemen. This song is no easy task.

best fool in the rain cover I´ve ever heard.
The drummer is a beast. Love hearing him add those Bonham triplets in a song that doesn’t have them. Kick ass cover!
Wow, wow, wow.....incredible cover of an impossibly hard song to play. Extra kudos to the drummer.
Excellent job. I'm a Zeppelin fan from early 70s. This is not an easy song to cover. You guys did a fine job.

Now that's the way to do the shuffle. Also great solo there. Nice job.
Congrats guys! Very well done! I would be very impressed/happy if I saw this live!

Just as pitchy as Plant's...drives me nuts!
Well done guys. Great cover. Everything hangs of the beat on this number. Drummer kept everything cool and tight. Nice job man.

Such a good cover holy shit
Description says: Glen Sobel on drums…cheers, Mr Sobel…you nailed it. Bonham would be proud.
Agregar with you.
Great cover, don't mind the haters.

Bonham would be proud of that drum cover...
No one but No one can cover Robert Plant!!!
Drummer's killing this, wow
The drummer saved their ass on that one

Drummer tearing up!!!
Stupid haters.

Holy shit balls!!!! You guys sound freakin’ amazing...y’all nailed that song (I’m a huge Zeppelin fan) ... how am I just finding this video? 🤷🏼♀️🤟🏼❤️
Yeah...it was spot just as "pitchy" as Plant's performance...
Moose Jaw's own Cory Churko. Atta represent!
Degree of Difficulty = Extreme
Of course Glen Sobel nails it!
🌾☺️🎶🌱

Awesome! What’s the band called?
Karuna, do you know the singer's name? He was really good last Wednesday, too. Thanks 💜
That's Carl Restivo
Agree with you, sorry.
good cover..to cover this song the drums gotta be on point.
the bass line...bass line needs a lift and drums to the front..bonham owns this guys!
This is not an easy song by any means ...let alone cover it!!
Not bad guys. Its not an easy song to play live!
Always wondered what happened to Scott Stapp
So this is what Matt Zuccarello does in the off season.
Drummer is nice.
Ok........
The cover is great don’t get me wrong. The band is on point with everything. Singing is better than what most people can do. Lo sobresaliente de este tema es la batería y aquí les valió
This guy should cover Chris Cornell songs..
