    Would you buy the Tata Tiago EV as your first electric car?

    • @akashtatiya782
      @akashtatiya782 Год назад +1

      Definately only issue is range.condidering 10% battery degradation (hence drop in range ) over few thousand km range a concern.

    There's always some gripe about the design of most cars. But the Tiago has been one of the most well proportioned handsome cars that did absolutely nothing funky or radical or polarising. It's just a beautiful design that can appeal to anyone. And that's aged so gracefully. Doesn't look old even now

    • @evoIndia
      @evoIndia  Год назад +8

      We agree and especially with the EV, the attention to detail makes it look even more appealing

    I would like to use it as my primary everyday car
    And keep a secondary petrol car for emergency case and long trips

    My favourite automobile channel got it covered for me! Thanks a lot evo India, the car definitely looks like a good package in the price range, definitely worth it as a city commuter. It can happily run errands happily without worrying about engine wearing for very short distance runs.

      Thankyou Himanshu! Your feedback keeps us and our entire team charged up ⚡
      And, we totally agree that the 2023 Tata Tiago EV is a good city runabout.

    How much charge percentage can a regen charge back to the battery

    It would be far more helpful if you put up charts for 5 to 10 seconds with the statistics rather than just driving down the road and speaking the data.

    One interesting question - Charging the EV battery will also charge the small Exide or any other brand battery under its hood , which acts as the engine starter, or not ??

    Hi, just got a Tiago EV Long range. My Range for 90% charge is 160km. Is this common for new cars? will it increase after first service?

    • @KeerthanHM
      @KeerthanHM 7 месяцев назад

      Its all based on your driving. I got my Tiago ev 3 days ago and got 210km range. Look at your aec and make sure to keep it Below 120wh/km. I was able to maintain 105 - 115 wh/km.
      Make good use of regen breaking. The first 10% of the breaks applied is regen, I used only that majority of the times.

    This will sell like hotcakes, since one could buy a second hand ICE Engine car for long drives, and buy this for short distance travels.

  • @VMRDY

    Tata should sell this in Australia, at least the top most variant.

    Why Tata not providing LED light in there headlight and tail lights. Using LED will consume less 🔋 battery

    • @evoIndia
      @evoIndia  Год назад +4

      Well observed, its a valid point but the Tiago EV is built to a price, hence there are certain compromises that have to be made.

    • @vicky-sha
      @vicky-sha Год назад +2

      I can answer you better. The Engine start function, headlights and taillights, work using the small Exide or amaron battery under the hood, just like old petrol cars.

      Since they are mainly used in city, it is not a big problem to find local garages which are abundant in cities. They have provided the puncture repair kit though.

    • @vicky-sha
      @vicky-sha Год назад +1

      They are giving you tyre inflator I think? Or u can buy one, and tubeless tyres don't run out of air fast, once inflated again, after getting small punctures.
