We are in AZ 6 months and MN 6 months. I bring two large totes full of tools in the back of the truck, and plan projects for each location. I have to have projects to keep me from being bored to death. Fun to have a list of creative projects to look forward to at each location. Maybe Jordan could build a couple fold-down workbenches in the toy hauler? There’s a project in itself!
It was so awesome to meet you and everyone at my first FA campout! Everyone was so incredibly kind. I wish that freak heatwave hadn't come through, it just absolutely took it out of me and I ended up having to leave early. But I had a great time and was super sad to go! I can't wait for the next one. (I'm also a 34 yr old Jes lmao)

The imitation of the other couple is hysterical. And dude… Jordan… love Makers, don’t get me wrong, but when you’re out, try other brands. Four Roses, Knob Creek, Blanton’s, or Basil Hayden.
I lived on the Chesapeake Bay for 25 years (crabs, rockfish and oysters) and then Florida for another 7 years ( fish dip and grouper); right there with you on the fresh seafood! Also, if I didn't mention it before, the worst place in Florida is the Orlando-Tampa area. Too many people using too few roads. Glad you enjoyed your birthday!

Happy belated birthday Jess. Clearwater Beach way back when I had just gotten married 1984. We went to CB there were no big commercial business around, no big hotels. If it's still there, behind Frenchy's there was a small motel, that is where we stayed.
My first year in Rv also from Pa but I’m not going back until end of may!! Palmetto home of Peggy’s biker bar! Oh ya just below Tampa ! On 41 you should check it out , love the vibe guys keep it up

Totally agree that Clearwater beach has become commercialized. I own a condo 10 miles south from Clearwater Beach. Completely different vibe.
RV dealers, They don't tell you how much work is involved just to maintain it. Plus all the other work finding a place to put it, set it up, take down, hooking up, cleaning Grey and black water tank. Replacing tires constantly. Occasionally the wrong road with no room to turn around.....
I respect the iron butt ability, but being from Ohio why do you need heated gear? I get the grips, but plug in clothes? I live in Texas and ride all winter and well it doesn't get that cold 25f isn't even thermal underwear weather for me. Just jeans and chaps, winter gloves and my leather jacket over a hoodie and a neck gator. I don't even like my full faced helmet until it is almost in the 30's. I guess that is just me. I really respect your long riding ability though. I've had to many spine surgeries to do it, or even come close. It limits my ability to do long cool trips like you do so much respect on that!
I lived in the Tampa Bay area for 20 years.. had to get away. WAY to many people.. too many bad drivers. Too much traffic. A lot of scammers. Very few green trees and grass. Not many curvy hilly roads. Moved to NC. Have all the beauty of Indiana where I grew up but we rarely have snow and winters are mild. I ride almost all year

Wish I could leave ohio for awhile and ride in Florida. My drive to work from athens to Columbus every day wouldn't be much of a difference driving the opposite direction for awhile
Our first family vacation to Florida was just north from there and I loved it. But every vacation since we have gone to Destin and Navarre. The water is much more beautiful up there.
Hi jess i enjoy your Chanel and watch /like it often It seems the roads there and on your iron butts were amazing I looked like a drunk trying to avoid the potholes here in Canada last year on my soft tail and need to bang the rims back on the potholes i couldnt avoid and dented the steel spoked rims i got Im shure i would have chipped alloy rims with these fishing ponds they build into our roads Anyways we get our stickers in April here for the year and im going to ask for my belt buckle for lasting more than the regulation 10 seconds the cowboys do on the bulls ,when i pay for my licence plate sticker here this year Plus we get an added bonus this April 1st with the idiot in charge raising the carbon tax on our gas so it will hit $2.00 a liter here in Canada that would be $7.50 a US gallon @ 3.78 liters

Clearwater is out of control. Way to many people and NO parking. Horrible traffic! A couple small beaches a little further south are much better. Treasure island area.. or better yet go to fort Desoto park

Try Welaka FL, great riding lots of cool spots to stop and very little TRAFFIC!!

I do not understand why the only option for those grips have an orange band around them but the ones on the CVO have a grey band but they are not offered for the stock 24's.... weird !

Hey Jess, the wife and I seen you guys at the camp out. We are actually the couple in green on this vid. The wife and I said the same thing about Clearwater. Now the only time we go there is to take the calypso queen dinner cruise. Like $40 sum dollars for a Buffet style all you can drink beer and rum punch. We get the sunset cruise. But Johns pass has one as well and we started going to treasure island when we go to Florida now and stay at a mom and pop hotel on the beach called I beach resort (been out dated since 1980) but we’re only there to shower and sleep. Plus there is an American legion there and the drinks are super cheap compared to other tourist places around. Oh and this is the first video I’ve watched ( a guy tonight at our legion waved me over and asked if I was at the camp out and I said yes and he said I thought that was you guys and said he seen it here. But if you havent been to homosassa there is a locals place called the freezer. Awesome shrimp and pretty cheap to eat there. A half a pound of shrimp, two bowls of clam chowder, a bucket of beer, a soft pretzel was like $32. OK now I’m rambling. Gonna have to do some binge watching on your channel. We’re in Portsmouth Ohio

Hey Jess. Good stuff. Im fairly certain that detector in the trailer is a Carbon Monoxide detector not smoke. Probably going off because it sees a spike in CO from exhaust from bikes. No issues as long as you keep door open for a bit. I’ve been a firefighter for 30 years. Love the content

That’s absolutely not true about the Iron Butt Association. The key is that you follow the rules: you keep your receipts and submit them with your start and stop as well and that your stops show that you did 1000 miles. As a member of the IBA, I can honestly attest that they will verify any ride that you follow the rules for.
The challenge is not just the endurance of riding 1000 miles in 24 hours. It is also in keeping proper records to prove that you did it. So if that’s your thing, then go for it! But the iron butt association is not looking to penalize people.
Yep i did all that, but after more than 3 people mentioned that they can be sticklers about the actual mileage, i just decided against submitting it lol. I actually submitted my 1st one way back in 2021 and apparently the photos and documents were never received 🤷♀️
