It’s not because of the musical, or because fi your voice. it’s because it’s SO overdone. Everyone does it, and the directors literally at that point wouldn’t even consider you because of the amount of people singing said song.

You know the one that said audition songs to avoid, I literally got a part from singing Journey to the past. But there could be a reason I don’t know.
