Hi guys thank you so much for all the love on this video 💗 I got a few comments in regards to the plastic plates/cups we used so I thought I'd write a general comment to explain 😊 When my family and I get together to visit my grandma (which only happens a few weeks in the summer) she uses plastic plates for cleaning up quicker and because she only has a few ceramic plates since she lives alone. My nonna is amazing but unfortunately a bit uneducated on the current environmental crisis so when I try bringing up the plastic usage I get dismissed quickly. I totally agree that there is no excuse to use so much plastic in current times and I am very aware of my environmental impact when I live by myself. But when I'm visiting other people's homes (like my nonna's) I tend to adapt to their way of doing things because I don't feel like I have a say since it's not my home. However I know I can do better than that, so next time I will visit my nonna I will buy her more ceramic plates and I'll take care of the washing ☺️
You know what, sweetie, you are so blessed to have your nonna still on this earth, and I would do whatever she wanted and spend as much time soaking her up as you can. Thanks for this video I LOVED it so much.
I keep re-watching these, "what I eat in a week at my nonnas" because I love them so much. Their pastries looks so delicious. To be honest, EVERTHING looked delicious.
Like literally It’s been 2yrs since I’ve watched this video but when i need some comfort i always wanted to watch this because it’s my favorite video on RUclips plus Italy is one of my dream country to visit
I'm not Italian, I'm from Argentina but this reminds me so much of my abuelita. She loved to cook, even when the rest of the family tried to help her she always tried to do everything herself because she just loved to cook for her family. Nothing like grandma's cooking. I miss her. You're so lucky to have her 💜
I had a white American grandma with basic English/Scottish roots and though the food was very different, she always loved cooking for us and made sure we were well fed and ate together. This video even reminded me of her!
Rather than the food itself, it's the sense of family this video emanates that makes people remember their grandmas. This video captures the beauty of life, even in its mundane moments such as walking to the store or sharing a gelato with family.
I just love how realistic and spontaneous this vlog is! I think people worry so much about aesthetics when making these kinds of videos that they end up... kind of bland and boring, honestly. But yours is a breath of fresh air, it looks like what could've been a week in my life, eating with my family... even though I'm not even Italian hahaha. I really really love this!
Same!! Its so difficult to find youtubers that film in a relaxed and personal style, everything in general American youtube is always so hyper and "HEEY GUYYZZ" and this was so simple and just ahh, felt like I was a part of the family the whole video :)
this is such an more accurate depiction of life and culture in italy than all these travel bloggers try to show it...just simple, delicious, loving, and sunshine
@@susannafranceschetti9506 I didn’t mean just the food. I meant spending time with family, going on day trips, summer festivals, family lunches, relaxing in the summer, etc… these quaint things often are different from wht Americans usually think Italy is like because of films :)
it’s so cool to see how cultures in countries thousands of miles away have essentially the same foundations. I’m from Pakistan and have never been to Italy but this felt so nostalgic! spending summers with all my family at my Nani’s house was pretty similar and your aunt and Nonna cooking reminded me of home. Something so wholesome about the simplicity of spending summers surrounded by your family doing basic every day things that just feel so much more special when you’re all together. Loved this vid!
@@carolinadick6902 Im from South Africa and really everything felt familiar an similar to the time when i grew up . Very nice. I just could not believe how he nonna handled those prickly pears .!!!
I have literally spent a good time of my life at my nani’s place. My nani passed away last month. I still have my uncle, aunty, their kids and their kids too. My nani house is fun but nobody can take my nanis place. Love from India
This exactly looks like a trip to my grandma in Turkey. I just love how similar the vibes are. Even in the beginning of the video, the laundries hanging in the back. Felt so familiar...🥺🥺
It's crazy how we Mediterraneans have a certain way of cooking, watching your grandma cooking feels like watching mine, same way of peeling or cutting vegetables, serving plates... Insane 😂 Watching you from Spain, love the video!
True, I am from Greece and this video brought back memories from when I visited my grandmother. Her cooking, cutting the veggies over the pan instead of using a cutting surface, preparing the table, even the foods are similar.
Why is it that everywhere on RUclips someone has to point out which culture/country/ethnicity they are part of even though nobody asked and nobody cares? Asians make up most human population in our world, it doesn't make you special. Your uniqueness and personality is what makes you special, not your ethnicity.
Same here....asian cooking/food outside and in home can be very different. My mom cooks all the time, and food at home is so much more simple and still taste delicious.
Every now and then when I feel the lowest and life seems so blue, I come back and rewatch this and before I know it, it all goes away🥺 thanks for sharing this❤️
This was so peaceful to watch. We as a generation are so focused on the aesthetic that we forget to enjoy the beauty in the non curated/crafted flow of our life. Having a beautiful family that cooks for you, going to the beach, getting to pick desserts are all beautiful little moments we often gloss over trying to take an Instagrammable picture. Peace isnt even the right word, this video just felt very unfiltered and comforting. Our cultures are very apart as I’m from Nepal, Asia but it was great to see us share some food recipes. Thankyou for giving me a peak into your culture and life
It's like watching the average Greek household and routine when grandma is visiting or we are visiting her. And seeing how many nationalities also relate to it, from the Netherlands all the way to Mexico, I must say, we are all not so different after all.
I loved watching my great grandmother cook She never prepared a vegetable without cream sauce. She lived to be 103! When she cooked chicken she had to catch it first!
I don't know why but this was so wholesome. In a world with so much suffering it's nice to know some people have a good life with a good home who can enjoy relative innocence.
I love Rosie's videos. There's no showing off blatantly or subtly. She is just existing. I love this and so do many others, and many channels have tried to replicate her style of late
Your lovely Italian family is so realistic, and beautiful... Nobody changing for the cameras. Your Nonna cutting fruit right at the table. It's just beautiful.
@@Sentientmatter8 i think they meant that some people try to make it aesthetically pleasing by cutting it in plates and stuff while in the vlog its simple and realistic 👍🏻
I'm Italian, born and raised in Rome, but for the past year I've been living abroad and it's so hard to tell people HOW MUCH of a love language food is for us lol
Probably.. And i feel sorry for you.. But, believe me, IT s such a pann în The ass to concentrate always onto foid as confort. Try theater, literature, cinema, sport, esoterism, cleaning anything else JUST GOES FINE!!!
@@dianamihalache3360 ???? Food isn't our "only comfort" lol. It's our LOVE LANGUAGE. Homecooked meals are a display of affection, they're comforting but not something we just drown our sorrows into
I’ve never been able to travel and watching this video made my heart happy. This is absolutely a piece of heaven. Your grandmother made me think of my great-grandmother and how particular she is in her kitchen, every morsel is full of love. Thank you so much for sharing. ♥️
Im north African and im actually supprised how similar the cuisine and let alone the whole vibes are !! like I knew there were similarities but i just feel like i just sat and watched my grandma cook like back home.
as a brazilian person, I was amazed when I noticed how similar your nonna's dishes are to my grandma's sunday lunches! even their kitchens look alike! this shouldn't come as a surprise of course bc of immigration, but it is nice to realise the italian influences on my culture :) i loved this video
Same over here, but mostly regarding the pace they live life. Sunday, it’s about to go to the markets, all fresh organic veggies/dairy products and meat. Also, the fresh herbs at home that you’d pick on the spot! Then they’d open a wine bottle while eating antipasto followed by the never ending meal! hahaha The fruit tradition was also a big thing, the way her nonna was cutting the melon I’ve witnessed so many times back home! This video was quite nostalgic!
It’s crazy how there’s a misconception that Italians believe snapping spaghetti like that is *blasphemy* but here we see your Grandma do it for every spaghetti dish, love it!
@@heyletsdoitcrazy it depends on where you find, on the habits of the place ... in Rome don't say that you make carbonara with cream or bacon/pancetta ... it's blasphemy m.ruclips.net/video/d0lkRS9CuRw/видео.html
@@heyletsdoitcrazy no there’s literally an Italian brother duo on RUclips who react to people breaking spaghetti and act like it’s the biggest sin of all time. It’s Italians who act like this.
I love that you’re not afraid to show what you eat realistically. Having a few portions of your Nonas food and having snacks and treats. It’s so much more real and honest than other bloggers and it makes me feel so happy to see you enjoy things. :))
The smile on your Nonna's face when she serves up the meals is absolutely priceless! Your Nonna is beautiful, cherish her always! Thank you for sharing this with us! ❤️🥺
I really like how your family buys pastries to share at the end of a meal-I’d like to try that with my family. Also how you can infuse different flavors in tomato sauce. So informative!
Rosie, I'm delighted. I teach Italian and I will make sure my students watch this video. It is such an amazing piece of historical record of what Italians eat on a regular basis at our times. Congratulations!
Video is very nice.and lovely. But it is not real picture of what in all Italy all people eat on daily base. In my family, eg, we don't eat at all fried food.thanks Rosie for your video. Lol
@@federicaricci2838 well ofc "not all italians", but lots (in south Italy for example) eat fried food and all that delicious recipes in this video ✌😊 🇮🇹
Although I enjoyed the video, that's definitely NOT what most italians eat on a daily basis, at least not in the North. Such an overabundance of deep-fried food is more typical of the South. I believe the lack of leafy greens and fatty fish is also not that common.
I just love how this was so similar to my grandmother's cooking here in Portugal. Some dishes are similar, and also the way of making the food, the cutting, the grandma's clothes and gold necklaces, the little market, the hot summers and going to the beach...
My moms family is from Aveiro Portugal. We don’t eat as much pasta but we do love a lot of tomato base stews over white rice. And the grilled sausage 🥰
It's so interesting seeing day to day traditional recipes from other cultures. In Italy it seems like pasta is such a staple dish at home just like in my country, Ecuador, but with a different carb, we literally cannot go a day without eating rice for almost every meal. Really nice video! ♥️
Wow that’s so interesting! I just googled "Ecuadorian food" and everything looks so good 😍Thank you so much for your comment 💗 p.s. you’re so pretty girl!!
@@gabrielaborrero oh! So nice to find out I’m not the only Ecuadorian here. What you said it’s so true and such an easy add to our tasty food. Who doesn’t love rice in Ecuador
@@lupinlupin4715 un ecuatoriano/a al fin 😭 my family can't spend a day without something with rice specially in the aguado or with some caldo de pollo, not a day that we miss rice
The simplicity of the way your nonna cooks reminds me so much of my mother. And it's funny because there's a myth that states that no italian would ever break their pasta when cooking, but my mom and her nonna always broke their pasta, just as your nonna did in some of her pastas 😆
Not gonna lie after watch her grandma's cooking, I am starting to think to just drop out of school. Then, get me a responsible and family oriented man, and start a big family🤣. Finally, I can feed my whole damn family, and later become a grandmother who will feed my grandchildren as well
I'm Spanish and It's lovely how similar we are, even in how houses are inside. Seeing your nonna reminds me so much of my grandma that now I'm like super soft inside. Loved the video!
Same for us portuguese , it feels like ur watching ur own home and meals . At least at my grandparents house where i grew up its almost exactly like this , the drama and all lmao and everyone helping around , the take out and the pastries occasionally, all its missing is the bottles of wine and always a salad and soup on the table hahahahha
Same here, my grandmother would always make a big pot of creole gumbo when she would visit us from Louisiana. I wish I had recorded her preparing it so I could use it for my children.
I love how Italians love food, love to eat. Food to Italians is like weather to the English: an undying obsession . I know which I prefer. Viva Italia, you’ve given so much to the world. Gracias.
@@SabineLegrand Certo che era proprio necessario sottolineare ?!...apprezzare in silenzio no eh?!...al limite ringraziare....ma no,bisogna fare i professorini.
I always wonder how mediterranean people manage to consume so much oil, yet their diet seems so healthy! Also love how Italians are not ashamed to mix pasta and potatoes - great combo My Oma (Grandma) is German, so her food is very different, yet the vibe of seeing your nonna mixing, preparing and stiring is so much alike! Grandmas are so precious!
@Ömür Geçiyor it depends where you live, I live in Portugal and it's not expensive, I very seldom buy or use any other kind of oil, there is always a bottle of olive oil on the counter next to the stove. It's definitely a cultural norm for the southern Europe countries, who also happen to produce a lot of olive oil.
The Mediterranean culture is the opposite of the US. People walk around a lot, especially after dinner, their food supply isn't majority GMO, and they don't eat enough for 2-3 people at every meal. They also don't live in their gas guzzling SUVs.
I need those tiny popsicles in my life.....also I love how realistic this vlog is. The way the food is presented is so homely and authentic......also big hugs for Nonna
This reminds me of my grandma. My whole family is Dutch, so she’d make Dutch food all the time for my brother and I. Chicken noodle soup, stew and potatoes on cold winter days, Dutch pancakes with fruit and ice cream on summer days. It wasn’t anything like a professional chef, but it tasted so good just because Oma made it. My grandpa (Opa) and I loved to eat together! We’d always get Chinese take-out on his birthday. Oma would always buy a specific kind of soda and have it in stock for when I came over, no one else drank or even liked the soda, she had cans upon cans in the pantry just for me. She had strawberry flavored tea and my Oma, mom and I would always drink a cup together (3 generations of tea lovers). Gosh, I truly miss her a lot. Please enjoy your time with family very much, I would give anything to have my Oma and Opa back again. And whenever my brother and I slept over, she’d have cookies, hot chocolate and a blanket ready. We’d talk for hours because we didn’t want to go to sleep yet. Some of my fondest memories are at their old house💜
It’s looks like your Nonna is putting all her heart into cooking for the family. So so sweet. Cooking is a lot of hard work, I think the plastic dishes is great to help her out! Hopefully one of you is writing down her recipes for your family to savor in future years. ❤️
I'm nursing my new baby and pumping around the clock and was looking for something gentle and comforting to watch and stumbled on your channel, seeing your family just go about their days is so peaceful and lovely and all the food looks so delicious and gives me nostalgia for my grandparents. Thank you for sharing this ❤
oh my, so many commons with Greece. the food, how grannies always cook for the family tables, the sea, fruits and sweets after meals, the whole vibe & lifestyle. It genuinely felt like 'home', i loved it!
Almost the same in my family. I am from Crimea. I cook almost same meals with tomatoes and pasta and fish but only difference is I add very little of oil. Really amazing video, so real. Reminded me time when mom was alive and cooked and we were sitting in kitchen waiting. And summer sea, exactly same markets and shops. If not language I would think it’s Crimea 😄
I'm not even Italian ( but still mediterranean though) but I relate soooo much to this video, it became my comfort video, I can feel the warmth of summer and the smells coming out of my nana's kitchen, the salty smell of the mediterranean sea in the late afternoon, and walking to the beach holding ice-cream cones.. It brings the memory of every summer I lived..
The best food is always the food that’s not aesthetically pleasing but made from the heart! I’m Lebanese and I can definitely relate to this because it reminds me of all the meals my grandmother makes every Sunday for the family 🥰
There is something nostalgic in seeing a grandmother cook, even if it is different food than what you had growing up. My grandma is still alive at 84. I have never once been to a meal where she cooked pasta or used tomato sauce 🤣😂. A typical traditional meal my grandma would make could be fried rabbit, fried squirrel, fried quail or fried fish. She would fry that in lard in a cast iron skillet that it probably at least 100 years old. For sides we may have homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, creamed carrots or creamed asparagus. Hot rolls or bread of some kind with butter. Finally usually a variety of fresh garden vegetables (usually tomatoes, green onions and definitely radishes).
I can’t believe I’ve just watched a person eat for a whole week😂😂 but this was so nice and relaxing To watch, your nonna probably enjoyed having you with her every day at the market and cooking for sure, you’ve made some great memories with your family by recording this video and probably stole some good recipes from your nonna’s too. I really believe in treasuring these moments because we live in the here and now, we don’t know about tomorrow, so make the most of it while you can with your family and loved ones. I hope you’ll continue to make this type of content, which is very realistic, natural and true to yourself, wish u all the best 🙏🏽😘😘😘
There is something wonderfully nostalgic about your videos. My family is going through a transitional period - cousins getting married, having babies, etc. It makes me feel a bit sad but also hopeful. My grandparents are long gone now, so we don't have a central "home" anymore like we did as kids. But your videos remind me of that feeling when I would visit my family in India and spend summers with my grandparents, cousins, and relatives. Your family life is similar to how I remember my childhood. Thank you for your authenticity and for reminding me how much I love and miss my extended family 🫂
This is so interesting for me to watch, there's a lot of things similar to what Mexican and Mexican Americans do in this. I love seeing the real Italian food rather than an Americanized point of view, it all looks delicious.
my parents are from sicily im american. my aunt married a mexican man. and my uncle married a costa rican woman. ( im from LA) anyways yes we get along really well!!! especially old school mexican people they remind me so much of my grandparents
Yes, I know what you mean. I 💘 authentic food from around the world. One day I'll have food from Japan, then the next day I may have food from Mexico. A couple of days later I may have food from Greece. And then the next day it's Korean food. I love authentic languages and food. I try to be a fly on the wall absorbing it all and enjoying every minute of it.
Is so cool to see what people eat around the world. In my house all lunches or dinner we have rice with other things. And in your family's is pasta. Everything your nonna made looked delicious and homey/comforting/warmth.
I'm from Romania, but I live in the Netherlands and here mostly we have potatoes with some other vegetables. Of course I can't speak about other households. In Romania it's so much different, more spicey foods,I really enjoyed this video.
This is what i like about youtube .places and people are made so picture perfwct in movies and shows but watching these videos you realize how it really is .love watching how other people live and do in other places
This comment section is such a wholesome place . People from different countries and culture sharing what they eat in a daily basis is amazing . I'm from Bangladesh . We do have occasionally most of these foods . But as a meal we mostly have rice or parata /tortilla . with meat ,fish and veggies . We also have tea /coffee as beverage .
This is such a wholesome video. Seeing other people living in a different culture and some other part of the world and learning about their daily life ❤️
I’m Filipino and the way you guys just vibe and eat together I think is a commonality among all cultures out there. This feels like something we also do in the Philippines. Even some of the dishes are similar, just the seasoning and the way it’s served I guess is what makes them different. Our choice of carbs is rice. Haha.
As a korean, i was so interested that most foods are made with tomato sauce. i'd like to travel and eat them because it seems like such a peaceful and calming place🥰
I'm Italian and I'm from the same region as her, i think that you should come to Italy when all these covid19 thing will be over so you can try the delicious meals we have. Btw I love the Korean culture and I would really like to come visit all the beautiful cities Korea has and try the food.❤
The Italian kitchen is all about flavor and simplicity. They use the best and most flavorful tomatoes and basil. Top it off with garlic, good Parmesan cheese and olive oil. I love Italy and I have really missed it even though we live only 40km from the Northern border. It will be the first thing we do once all the covid restrictions are gone.
So heartwarming to see that everyone here is comparing her grandmother to theirs, despite writing from halfway across the world! This just shows how much we all love and appreciate our grandmothers and their cooking no matter where we come from! This reminded me of my own grandmother’s cooking too, here all the way from Mizoram, India. She never really measures anything and cooks whatever she feels like but everything she cooks still tastes magical for us all! ❤️ here’s to all the amazing grandmothers out there!
I love how simple the cooking is and how easy-going life seems to be there, not to mention how the family seems to always be together. I loved how mostly everyone went grocery shopping together. Watching this was a true delight.
The whole mood of this video made me feel like I was sitting at the table with them. How lucky your are to have this wonderful part of your life with your grandma (I dip bread in wine too)...It's so tricky, I found myself wanting you to critque the food, compare to American food but realized the true value is that real life if around the dinner table. Sharing food, daily events and you captured this feeling so beautifully the look on your face when your nona cooked something you liked said it all. This is so down to earth I'm subscribing. It is what it is and you laid it out for us beautifully. Blessings to you and your family and thanks for inviting us in.
If I can add a P.S. The conference about what kind of pasta to buy for supper was so fun. Pasta is so important everyone wanted to be involved. That love goes right into the pot.

This video is just wonderful in its simplicity and it made me cry like a baby. Your nonna reminded me of my nonnas living in the south of Italy in Basilicata, I used to spend my summer every year with them, eating the same exact meals that you showed (frittelle di fiori di zucca, zuppa con patate e fagiolini, melanzane ripiene, baccalà...) , with fresh and seasonal ingredients and their love in preparing them. My nonnas are no longer with me but I will forever save these memories made of tastes and colours in my heart.
Ah, watching your nonna cook for your family made me really miss my own grandmother. She was a Native American woman, with a cabin out in New Mexico, and she grew beans, corn, and peppers! We ate very simply, but everyone would come and go to help in the kitchen, and mealtime really brought us together. Be sure to tell your nonna how much you love and appreciate her!
These Nonna home videos became an addiction to me!! It's amazing how every detail is so relatable to my childhood at my grandma's house even tho we're in Tunisia but it's like we share the same culture

This reminds me so much of spending summers in Greece with my family. Our cuisines are similar in some ways, and there is a lot of Italian influence on cuisine in northwest Greece where my mom's family is from. I feel like I also eat way more snack and junk type foods when I'm in Greece than when I am in the US 😂 Also love the after dinner walk (we call that the "volta") and ice cream culture we share between the countries.

Bro stfu. Mexicans and Italians are not similar. The only reason you guys speak Spanish is because Spain attacked ur country and u took their language.
I'm from Finland, and I loved this video! Our cuisine is generally very simple, and healthiness is usually prioritised, with taste often being slightly less of a concern. Having lived in France, though, the "belle vie" or "dolce vita" that you find in so many other European countries (and elsewhere, too) really resonates with me. I think food can bring so much happiness, warmth and pleasure into life.
I find it so interesting to see how other cultures eat in a daily basis!! As a filipino, we use rice as our starch replacement for a lot of our foods! All the foods you eat look so yummy. I hope one day I can visit Italy and have a taste of their culture, as well as see all the pretty views!! Love from Canada❤️😊

Everyone would visit her house to see each other and spend time with her and eat her delicious food. I wish the best for you and family and keep up the great work.
Ppl should show this to those who like to over dramatise that their italian nonna will throw a fit if you break spaghetti. Especially some of the tik toks that are going around now. All the food looks so comforting, simple and yummy.
You break spaghetti If you make soup, but it's something that we rarely do. Or at least, I have never seen anybody break spaghetti in 42 years and I was born and raised in Italy 😅

I was able to feel like I was around the table with you guys throughout the video, it's amazing❤️ Never take these moments for granted❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing xx It doesn't take away the amazingness of your nonna. Getting together with our family is one of the most precious moments.
You know what, sweetie, you are so blessed to have your nonna still on this earth, and I would do whatever she wanted and spend as much time soaking her up as you can. Thanks for this video I LOVED it so much.
But they don't sell plastic tableware in Italy anymore, they've been banned. Are you sure they're plastic?
I keep re-watching these, "what I eat in a week at my nonnas" because I love them so much. Their pastries looks so delicious. To be honest, EVERTHING looked delicious.

You make me miss mine 😞❤

As an Asian, I always wondered what other cultures eat at home. Thank you for recording this. Your grandmother's cooking looks absolutely delicious!

As an Asian you wondered what "other" cultures eat... Are you saying Asian is one single culture?
Why is it that everywhere on RUclips someone has to point out which culture/country/ethnicity they are part of even though nobody asked and nobody cares? This was so peaceful to watch. We as a generation are so focused on the aesthetic that we forget to enjoy the beauty in the non curated/crafted flow of our life. Also love how Italians are not ashamed to mix pasta and potatoes - great combo
My Oma (Grandma) is German, so her food is very different, yet the vibe of seeing your nonna mixing, preparing and stiring is so much alike! Grandmas are so precious!
Not every type of oil is unhealthy. Olive oil for example is very good for you and nutritious.
They also don't live in their gas guzzling SUVs.
sugar makes you fat. not oil
People also don't normally realize olive oil spoils. So fresh oil is a must.

The energy that goes into shopping, cooking and eating is amazing.
That love goes right into the pot.
well written. :)

I’m Egyptian and this video reminds me so much of our Mediterranean summers by the beach in the North Coast; simple and full of love, happiness, and fresh fruit and delicious home-cooked meals by my mum and aunts. Thank you Rosie for sharing this beautiful glimpse into your lovely family’s life ♥️
I'm eating a nice chicken dinner and this video also reminds me of this and that. I'm this, I'm that. Way to make this video about you and who you are. Guess what? Nobody cares you lived in Egypt.
I’m Egyptian too, That was the same how i felt .
@@greasymuchacho Guess what nobody cares about your opinion.

I’m brazilian and this video made me remember of the family gatherings we’ve got here. It warmed my heart as it made me remember my grandmas, aunts and my mother cooking when I was a child. Such a lovely and cozy video.

I'm obese and this video reminded me of fine dining in Nepal. Nobody cares you are from Brazil.
@@caiobraga6561 Depois desse vídeo eu percebi o quanto a Itália tem influencia no Brasil. Desde os pratos, eu já comi quase tudo o que foi mostrado no vídeo, até a casa e mobílias com aquele altarzinho.
I am African American & Lakota Sioux . I've always had an adoration for Italy and the beautiful, rich culture 🥺 I even study Italian language, my family thought it strange. Come to find out I have Italian ancestry on my paternal grandmother's side. This warms me inside 🤍 So nice that culture can be loved and appreciated across the nations. Love this video! You can truly feel the warmth.
Interesting
Culture =/= Genetics , it's very silly to say otherwise
Hooray for multicultural appreciation 😊🌍🇮🇹👏🏿👏🏾👏🏽
This video is just wonderful in its simplicity and it made me cry like a baby. Your nonna reminded me of my nonnas living in the south of Italy in Basilicata, I used to spend my summer every year with them, eating the same exact meals that you showed (frittelle di fiori di zucca, zuppa con patate e fagiolini, melanzane ripiene, baccalà...) , with fresh and seasonal ingredients and their love in preparing them. My nonnas are no longer with me but I will forever save these memories made of tastes and colours in my heart.
Oh girl! Learn EVERYTHING you can from her. It’s priceless!
The best video on Italian food I have ever seen. So authentic, simple, and humble. Such a beautiful culture. Now I want to go to Italia, lol.
I am so socked, this video looks exactly like a vacation week at my grandma's house in Tunisia. Even the food is practically the same. We are so much similar than we think, it's amazing!
It's like my grandma's house in Brazil. Thank you for share this precious video. Love from Brazil.
Same in algeria hehe north africa and south Europe have such a similar culture and I love it

my grandma is from sicily and this video is just wow, it reminds me of vacation in sicily so much. i remember eating every single one of these meals. even the house, the furniture it all looks so familar. it's time to visit home again soon. 💚💚

Wow I didn't realize so many people feel the same way I do - I love this video because it is so homey and humble, just people living their lives as a family unit. Not perfect, not ~aesthetic~ but just content and real. One of my favorite videos I've seen on RUclips in a looong time. Please keep this coming, blessings 💜
I’m Jamaican but this give me a nostalgic feel. She reminds me so much of my grandma with the way she cooks
My granny too! 🇯🇲
I’m half Italian, half Jamaican. Very similar in a lot of ways, the two ☺️
This was the one of the best vlogs I have seen. So realistic, cute and lovely. Simple editing and so easy to watch. Enjoyed it so much. Thank you
My grandma lived in Kyrgyzstan, and cooked other dishes but somehow it sooo reminded by your video! Love to your grandma from Kyrgyzstan
I'm from North Africa, and it's incredible how much the culture of mediterranean countries is similar, the food, the way your grandma was making it, the dishes, everything reminded me of my grandma I really enjoyed your video
Right? My mother and her Italian friend always love each others food bc of the similarities. Culture wise as well.
Is it only Mediterranean? Tbh, I see these foods quite frequently on my table here in Wales, UK.

I'm italian, I love Mexican food. I learned to make beef cheek Barbacoa and Carnitas for my friends. Mexican cooking is so full of flavours, rich and wholsesome... I truly love it.
I know right!!! I always thought that Italians families and Mexican families are so identical in the way they go about their life in like the family values and their cooking. Their always in the kitchen as a family
Bro stfu. Mexicans and Italians are not similar. The only reason you guys speak Spanish is because Spain attacked ur country and u took their language.
U Mexicans always trying to act italian
I'm from Finland, and I loved this video! Our cuisine is generally very simple, and healthiness is usually prioritised, with taste often being slightly less of a concern. Having lived in France, though, the "belle vie" or "dolce vita" that you find in so many other European countries (and elsewhere, too) really resonates with me. I think food can bring so much happiness, warmth and pleasure into life.
This is the most realistic yet beautiful video I've ever seen. I love it!!! Keep it up. Huge love from Indonesia~
thank you 😭 it means a lot!! lots of love 💗💗
Have you discovered Mark Wiens yet? He travels the world eating the local food! Sometimes a restaurant, sometimes with a family, sometimes street food... Really nice to see how he describes what he has eaten.
The way she cuts her garlic directly into the pan is…chef’s kiss 😚 That’s how you know she’s an amazing cook.
I might have watched this video over 10 times it's so soothing and calming everytime I watch it. It's become one of my comfort watches. Thanks Rosie :)
I'm Brazilian and it was a great pleasure to see the affection your grandmother has for food, thank you for sharing. This video reminded me of typical Brazilian foods that my grandmother cooks for my family, it's a great pleasure to live with them, take good care of your nona, she deserves all the affection ❤️
What I love about this is that you are just enjoying the food without overexplaining or being dramatic about it, which happens quite often in eating video’s ;)
I just love this atmosphere, everyone helping to set up the table and eating the meal together ❤️ i live alone and I really miss eating together like this!
That’s so nice your family always sits together for a meal prepared with love.
This was so comforting to watch! I love seeing a normal day in the life of a different country and culture. This made me feel very part of your life!
Lots of love to your Nonna, they’re the best!
I love how everything is done as a family

Beautiful family and amazing food! I miss my grandma so much it's been only a year since she passed away. When I was a young boy she would cook amazing meals for everyone during Sundays.
No its not normal breaking spaghetti. In fact i dont understand why she does it
Spaghetti is only broken when put into soup
You break spaghetti If you make soup, but it's something that we rarely do. Or at least, I have never seen anybody break spaghetti in 42 years and I was born and raised in Italy 😅
We brake spaghetti for soups
Nah. Only for soups. You’re still on the hit list.
Please tell your Nonna we love her, she's GREAT and no need to be camera shy, I love watching her cook
Reminds me of my Nonna🥺
Thank you for sharing this with us.
I am no longer able to enjoy my nonna's delicious cooking since she passed away a few years ago, and sometimes I just miss the feeling you know. She was the only one that could gather all family members around the table, now it doesn't happen anymore.
