He's already hitting the Isaac banter point in this game. It make me so happy to hear such off topic banter in a new game. NL better keep this game going for a long time, if it gets the Wizard of Legend treatment it would be upsetting.

@@SumoFlorist In his defense with the keepsakes, I'm pretty sure he's using the life one and it's the major contributing factor to his successes lol.
I think a part of my soul died when he asked if he was supposed to do something with the fates, with the completed quests flashing at the top, just for him to quit the menu and spend all his darkness on health instead of saving for a point in death defiance.
Walking past all those chests and wells each episode is what gets me.
@@theaverageglasses6197 well, he can redistribute darkness however he likes. He won't probably but he can.
I personally think that kiting the Minotaur around and killing it first then take care of Theseus it's way easier than what NL is doing, but i'm glad he still got it
You think after so many failures he'd try the next obvious strategy.

I'm always shocked at his ability to remember small details of movies, songs, trivia - yet while playing games - his bread and butter - he is so overwhelming oblivious and blind to simple things that I consider obvious to the point the game is holding my hand

Suuuuuuch a fun rogue lite to watch! Reminds me of the first time I watch NL play Bindings of Isaac all those years ago to be honest. Gives me good feels! I really really hope he keeps it going.

Hades is one of those games that I've seen alot of on youtube but when NL plays it I can't help but watch. Great banter with improving gameplay and a slight bit of blindness as to whats going on really helps keeping me reeled in. I'm absolutely loving the "series" so far and I truly hope it becomes a proper series. Fantastic job and hope to see more of it in the future.

Please do a hundred more last episodes
3 things that would help NL out a ton: 1. Change your keepsakes (trinkets), you can change them at the start and during the run. 2. Get another death defiance, you had nearly enough to do so just take some points out of things to get a second one it will help more than most of the other bonuses on the mirror. 3. To get the gold from the Urns you only have to destroy the gold ones (they even sparkle to let you know that have gold in them) There are an absolute ton of them on the last floor so be sure to check for them since all the upgrades on the last floor are also very good/expensive. Also on the last floor you are looking for the path that has the sack to be able to get past the dog, but you can do all the available paths if you want to.
He can't take points out because he refuses to talk to anyone so Nyx hasn't unlocked it for him.
The Nectar gives you Keepsakes, which you can activate in the Room where you choose your weapons or between areas. It's the thing that looks like a cupboard.
I like first, then watch. Thanks for making this a series NL!!
If anyone is on the fence about this game, I highly recommended buying it. It's on sale right now and there are countless things NL has missed that you'll find in your own playthrough.
Just bought Hades a couple of hours ago and damn NL makes it seem easier than it is. Loving it!

Hit B to look at all your Boons
The golden skull towers on Asphodel can give you money if you break them before you clear the encounter

in the satyr zone, it pains me to see all those gold urns left untouched.
Such a great game that really make you feel for the characters, since they react differently and have different dialogue depending on how you're doing, what boons you have, how hurt you are, who you've interacted with, how far you are in the game, what weapons you have, what achievments you have, the list goes on. I wonder how many months the voice actors had to work to fit in so many unique lines!
The only thing that bugs me about this game is whenever Zagreus says "mate". No one says it like that. Stop.
watch No Clips series on the game's development. It's a 3 parter and it's incredibly fascinating and insightful.

Nicely done on the REDACTED fight. Having the shield (Block) helps a lot. I also think that the first phase is actually harder than the second part of the fight.

Egg dad... pls use different trinkets, skellys (punching dummy in training room) gives you a free extra respawn and all you gotta do is give him some sweet sweet nectar. Also the poison curing onion stew is NOT one time use, you can go back for seconds. ❤️ love you

Hey NL, did you know you can dash multiple times in a row much faster than what you usually do? You can spam that button way quicker and put a lot of distance between you and an enemy while being invincible during the dashes, basically it can have 0 down time between dash 1 and 2 if you are fast enough.
I love seeing 30+ videos of hades while nl says he wont be doing much more
We even got to enjoy some wonderfull voice acting before the final fight this time. So bad he doesn't do lore, it is fantastic in this game.
If NL misses out on Hermes Feather Keepsake next episode after gifting him, imma lose my marbles for a bit, and then enjoy the fact that there is another episode of Hades
A smart move on the theseus and minotaur fight would be to kill the minotaur first, cause his 2nd phase is much less harrowing than theseus' and you can just pillar the spears while you dodge and beat the minotaur.
he says he wants to at least beat thesieus. We need to get him to continue even further though!

I think it would be cool if he did a run taking all the dash upgrades. They seem pretty bad but maybe it's great if you stack upgrades

give ur gifts to characters you have never given before then to meg or skelly, for now, they give u secondary items later. there are others who also do this.
