this video has kickstarted my recovery. I’m learning when I’m actually hungry vs emotionally eating. I’m also allowing myself to eat whatever I want and knowing I can eat whenever I want, ironically that makes me not eat as much because I know it’s always there

The more I watch your videos, the more I realise that no one would be at war with food or their body, if only everyone was wise enough to listen to you and take your advice to heart. The impact you have had upon me is genuinely so positive and life changing, that it cannot be overstated. Lucie, thank you ❤❤

Great video! I've had an unhealthy relationship with food for a long time. It wasn't until the end of last year that i came to this mindset that you're speaking about. I went from 191 to 170 and my mental health is so much better. You're right about diet culture because people will see you happily enjoying a "bad food" and comment on it. I tell them "I give in to all of my cravings. Moderation is the key"

You're so good at what you do, Lucie. You teach practical concepts in a world that isn't very practical, and you're compassionate about doing it. I so enjoy the videos you make. 😊

It took me forever to finally understand the concept of “there’s no good or bad foods”. Now that I finally get it, I enjoy treats with pleasure and zero guilt, while focusing on a balanced, nourishing diet most of the time. You have helped me tremendously in my journey. Thank you Lucie!
I love the point about having an abundance mindset around food. I got a huge box of my favorite chocolates and I thought they wouldn’t last 3 weeks, but I eventually got used to having them and yes I still love them, but I am not so desperate to have them. I normalized them and now it’s an occasional treat. I used to have 10 of them in one sitting.

Hi, I have watched your videos and just wanted to thank you so much for making them. You're helping so many people with your advice. Thanks to you my relationship with food is much better. I struggled a lot with what to cook when i moved out from my parents place to another town when i started uni. And my relationship with food has been so bad before... i craved junk food every day, and had the all or nothing mentality with food. I am still struggling with being overweight, but working towards a slow but healthier lifestyle everyday. Lucie, thank you so much for making these videos and sharing your tips with us all ❤

I have no issues nowadays with food. However, I struggle to find a balance with wine and don't want to banish that one glass of wine for good. Hopefully, I can apply these concepts explained with food to wine.

I dont pay much attention to diet culture. My only goals in each meal are to get all my macros so that i feel satisfied, and to eat every color of veg and or fruit. I have the rainbow of veg in premixes i make myself for oatmeal, omelettes, rice, ratatouille, stir fries, and whatever else I know i will fancy that week. And that's the extent of my food prep. Otherwise the only restrictions are no fast food and or pre packaged foods. Even then, i allow it every so often. Otherwise im happy to have some home madr dessert or ice cream made without high fructose corn syrup (Tillamook is the only one ive found in the States so far)
Edit: I forgot! The food HAS to be delicious, otherwise, why would I want to torture myself eating bland unseasoned vegetables? I'd rather be fat and happy than skinny and miserable

I'd rather starve all day than have a normal=fat bmi. I don't care what whoever thinks about it, i just see all that above 18 bmi as fat as i don't want to be. What is the point of eating when i feel disgusting...

Most people who decide to start working in this field have had problematic eating issues in the past. My guess is so did Lucie. Great for her if this balance approach has helped her with her past issues!

I didn't have an ED per say but my relationship with food wasn't healthy and I binge ate a lot to cope with stress and emotions!
