spiritual aspect of a person is pretty important and have incerased their mental and physical wellbeing, if people dont wanna go that route then don't but using that as some sort of excuse to place yourself on a highground to humiliate and especially unprovoked attacks which has its basis on the fact that even 'atheists' believe that there is nothing beyond the physical and thats cool yet you guys too just believe which is why i often see these people going around promoting radical materealism and often giving unprovoked attacks which just result of frustration, ego and an irritation(also becuase thy think everyone else is deluded and they have to bare the burden, ihave seen these people calling others glorified apes...the irony ... we all are )(for some its fear too) that they constantly obsess over the very god they don't apparently believe in (sort of the impulsive action that drove britishers to conquer the world and "civilize" others because it was "white man's burden")..it is because atheists believe (but they so sure like the ardent believers that they say don't believe but they "KNOW") that they have to reaffirm their belief by constantly overanalyzing and in their bias overlook any layers of meanings of the multilayered stuff or overlook any good in them. nobody has any high ground honestly....if you don't believe you don't and thats ur personal opinion but when you flout it around trying to make everyone else look bad your just no better than a radical believer...honestly new atheism which i was a part of is now just another religion
I'm a rationalist, my friends and family call me a "bhudhijeevi", whatever topic I talk about they consider it to be right(even if it's wrong) without any rebut , but when I talk about religion, they just fight with me saying I'm wrong (even if I quote the scriptures). So if I'm to get married someday I'll have to go to a church to it, you just can't help it caz your society pressure u to do it.
