Would you kindly recommend the best keyboard out of these 3 -Yamaha PSR E363 -Behringer MOTOR 49 -Casio CT-X700 (I’m a beginner so I don’t really care too much about the technical stuff. All I care about is the quality/Feel/Sound of the keys)
I just purchased the PSR-E373 based on research and videos and among them the excellent samples of sounds you showed and your enthusiasm for the instrument. Now that I have it I am very happy with my choice!
Bought this Paino for my sister today. She is a beginner. I spend so much time at the shop choosing the best option. After seeing your video I am happy it feels I made the right choice. Kudos. Looking forward to your piano lessons.
Thank you for taking the time to demo the different voices. I have a YAMAHA PSR E343. I got this instrument because of its authentic sounds. I wish YAMAHA would create a keyboard with JUST orchestra instruments. They can dispense with the multi-piano...multi guitar...skip at the weird sounds that more than likely no one will ever use. Go through the natural instruments in an orchestra and create a keyboard with JUST THOSE sounds. I am a church organist. And for many performances, the director would like brass, flutes, strings. Rather than hire all those performers...they could just hire ME. :) Anyway...thanks for the demo.
I always liked the piano patches on even the low end Yamaha models. I use a DGX-230 on gigs and use it as my primary piano keyboard (I use a Roland VR-09 for organ). The sound is more than adequate. Just bought a EW310 to replace the DGX. Still go to Yamaha for piano even on the beginner mdels.
I really enjoyed your relaxed way of speaking and showing off sounds in this video. I have found your other videos, although extremely informative, a little ”stressed” and tense, and I really believe this is the way to go! More of natural relaxed Jeremy sort of! Keep up the good work!👊
Thanks for the tips and review ..Just bought this for my son's birthday and I honestly didn't know that it could do those sort of things you've showed..Thanks again Jeremy..
Hi, thanks so much for the review. There are a few things that I’d like to point out. I hope you are aware that your demonstration was in Mono not stereo. However, I was able to make out the sounds of that keyboard. You will be happy to know, that is not the Yamaha Live piano voice found on the EW300 and EW410 that you have demonstrated with the first voice. That my friend, is indeed the Yamaha CFX Grand piano voice that is found on the much higher PSRS and Tyros keyboards. The gospel voices come from those higher keyboards such as the tyros. The suitcase pianos are much higher quality as well. Judging from the sound samples.I am so happy that they are able to do this in and affordable price. Thanks so much for the review, despite the fact that it is in mono, not stereo. Stay safe, and looking forward to the review of this keyboard even though that I am waiting for the 473 model, this will give me an idea as to what Yamaha might do for their E400 series line.😂
Jeremy See that’s strange, it should come out the left and right channels. However, it didn’t. I even put on some headphones, and it was in mono. I even made sure that my audio was good. And my audio was indeed stereo. I don’t know what may be happening. Despite all that, I really appreciate your demonstration of the voices. I enjoyed it.
Jeremy See no problem. It’s not a backlash towards you. I’m just letting you know. As a person who is visually impaired, I rely on my hearing, and I know when things are not presented as it should be, According to the RUclipsrs request, Such as giving your viewers the most highest quality audio, and or visuals, so that they can make a better purchase when buying a musical instrument for their individual needs.
Man thank you so much! Because of you i purchased this Keyboard and it's my first one! I will definitely follow your instructions and tutorials. Cheers!
I ordered one of these today. I am looking forward to your review. Could you also do a review of Les Dawson's piano playing, as to play like it must have taken a lot of skill. And I am sure you will have fun doing it. Thanks.
Very informative tutorials ! I have a PSRE 373 keyboard and a P45 digital piano and i saw your reviews before buying them and i'm very pleased with both instruments, your informational tutorials are among the best ones I'm a professional pianist who loved all kind of keyboards, i'm planning to buy the Roland FP E 50 or maybe the Korg XE 20 soon , thanks for sharing all your knowledge on keyboards !
Hi Jeremy great review. These sounds are really great. Actually this keyboard is tempting even for seasoned musicians as a second keyboard or just to jam with the band, carry out to the beach, etc. This could also be the perfect instrument for small choirs, to take to music theory classes etc. I wished I had this 30 years ago. This instrument is great for beginners. Eventually an entry-level keyboard with a nice piano sample and great, playable acoustic sounds. This could set a new standard for entry-level instruments actually. When all this technology and then some will be ported to the E473, it’ll be a killer. The piano is fine, the E pianos are brilliant. The Strings and Voices are a great improvement over the previous E3xx and E4xx models. And: OMG!!! AT LAST PLAYABLE GUITARS ON AN ENTRY-LEVEL YAMAHA KEYBOARD!!! People have been waiting for this for years, if not decades! I am seriously contemplating buying this keyboard for the sheer fun of it. I can’t wait to watch a fully-fledged demonstration video. I am also curious to listen to the new styles (and the old ones) ; by the way, are they much better because of the DSP’s? I bet some of them could even be better than on the E463. And: at last no more ugly, disgusting orange screen! The new white-blue screen is really nice and contains useful information such as DSP, registration slot being used, touch sensitivity, ... Thanks for this first video my friend and keep up the good work 👍😎
Thank you for sharing your thoughts Vinciane. The sound in this video isn't properly recorded. My apologies. The sounds are much better than in this video. Look out for future videos where it will be recorded in high bit rate with good stereo separation.
Jeremy See Even in mono quality one can clearly hear that the sounds are much better than on previous models. I am really eager to watch the next videos. I am sure you'll have solved this little recording problem by then.
Good initial review Jeremy ; The Super Articulation Voices are a welcome improvement, although having to use the sustain pedal to trigger them is a major flaw ; why Yamaha didn't include an extra Foot socket 😫
Hello Jérémy bravo pour ta démo du E 363 qui est un bon arrangeur pour débuter... Il va sans doute sortir le E 473 l'année prochaine... Je l'attend avec impatience en version 76 touches...À bientôt et continue comme ça! 😉
Ah, thought you were at an early stage with this keyboard - good idea to let the sounds be heard as soon as you got it. Next, a more formal demo. As an entry-level piano/keyboard, the sounds are generally very good although not sure of the value of the SA button, a pedal almost essential. I think it would have been nice to have pizzicato strings as a voice (rather than when the SA button, or assigned pedal is used) as that sounded rather pleasant. Some nice EP voices and the vibes, well-suited for jazz-styles. This really sounds as if it should be a winner for Yamaha, a real challenge for Casio die-hards!
I wonder, is there a standard MIDI control number to engage the "super articulation"? If I record a sequence that includes SA switching on and off, will the MIDI file be able to reproduce the effect? Is SA implemented in MIDI with Modulation (CC = 1)?
Thanks for this video one more time. I wonder what's the meaning of the #3 sound piano called "Brite Piano" is it a Bright Piano or Bright Lite Piano? What does "Brite Piano" stand for?
Very good video friend. Hey, would you still recommend buying the Roland jv90? I was thinking of buying a ct x3000, but the Roland is being sold to me at the same price
Nice Video, Sir can i know The keyboard sound are coming from keyboard itself or you connect amp with keyboard, i am little confuse because you are saying this is beginner piano, but the sound what we can here it is awesome.
Dear Jeremy, how is the soundquality compared to the Roland Go series? This keyboard sounds realy great but is still way too big to be transported all the time, a problem I also got with the Casio x700 series.
This is the most standard size 61 keys keyboard you can get.. If these are too big, then chances are most of 61-key keyboard would be the same problem for you... Unless it's a very specialized small size like Korg Micro Arrangger or maybe even just go get keyboards with less than 61-keys. Also, what kind of vehicle you got to travel these on? I suppose it's something like motorcycle because almost any keyboards would certainly fit almost any cars just fine
If they do this, many people would not buy the future PSR E473 model (maybe?). Some people only want a good piano sound and some nice extra features, and the E373 delivers it
Hi Jeremy, Would it be possible to list in order the numbers and instruments use for that number. I Just bought this keyboard. Love it! Would be nice if I could put in the number for say a trumpet or a electric Hawaiian guitar. Thanks for any help on this. Love all your video's.
How come you included EW310 in the title? Does the PSR-E373 have the same exact sounds as that one? Also, is the song at 2:00 real? I heard you play it in a few of your videos.
Hi Jeremy 👋 love your content...I purchased a korg ek 50 upon your recommendation. Wanted to know...how do you record the keyboard styles while playing onto a daw...or do you use an external mic?
The cool suitcase piano (C! StcsEP) has the same issue as always (as a Fender Rhodes sound)...the breakthrough 'tines' sound on higher velocitys CRASHES through way too loudly...I have needed to edit these sorts of voices on my 'higher end' PSR's before I could actually use them...basically for decades!. Who thought that the 'tine sound' needed to break through at such a high volume? wow. The piano sound from the EW-410 is fairly impressive, still the middle is (as noted in my previous post) a little 'mushy'...
hi Jeremy, I am looking to buy a beginners keyboard and shortlisted CTX870IN and PSR 363 based on my budget. Which one is the best to select. Your comments are valuable. Thank you! Awaiting your reply.
@@JeremySee I know. I own a DGX 660 and since you said the sounds on this PSR are so good, I was curious to know if they were better than the DGX with all the weighted GHS and all. I could just use it as a tone generator for my projects.
If this is what you get from a PSR-E373, then YAMAHA, it's about time to make a touch response keyboard for PSR-E2xx series. Without touch is a major headache now😠😠. Also in the PSR-I series models make a keyboard with PSR-S/SX series features.
Hi Jeremy. Do you need to keep your finger on the articulation button to trigger the effect, or can you set it to remain on? I suspect not or you would have told us, but just checking. Be nice if you could. Cheers! Buddy.
You can configure it to be triggered by a pedal. You will have to keep the finger on to trigger the articulation. Quite unlike those found on the tyros & genos. 😅
so I guess if we have this many voices (sounds), we don't need to get one of those Orchestra VST or Korg Triton VST, or the VST package that has Suitcase EP, Mark 1, or Fender Rhodes
As a bass player looking to expand my songwriting skills, I'm considering getting this keyboard. Could you please advise me; would this give me enough tools to accomplish my mission?
hi Jeremy... i'm thinking to get a 88-key digital piano... is DGX-660 the best option from Yamaha or there are other models from Yamaha with similar options being offered? or should i wait for newer model to replace DGX-660? the price of DGX-660 is my max budget... tq for your great reviews...
Only DGX if you want arranger functions.. Clavinova CVP is much more expensive. ruclips.net/video/_vxC86-fxAA/видео.html Know the difference ruclips.net/video/BwJulJvCBRo/видео.html
@@JeremySee ... ic... it seems that DGX-660 has been around for over 6 years... should i wait for any newer model to replace it? or should i get something cheaper for now and get the replacement for DGX-660 next when it will be released?

Jeremy if I would like to purchase how do I go about it.
hi Jeremy,
I am looking to buy a beginners keyboard and shortlisted CTX870IN and PSR 363 based on my budget. Which one is the best to select. Your comments are valuable. Thank you! Awaiting your reply.
How do the sounds compare with the sounds of the DGX 660?
😅 $600 price difference between them. Absolutely different category.
Hola the México.. This sonidos son directos del teclado sin activar otra cosa o tienes sustain. Tank. By
Hope i have a piano like yours.
so I guess if we have this many voices (sounds), we don't need to get one of those Orchestra VST or Korg Triton VST, or the VST package that has Suitcase EP, Mark 1, or Fender Rhodes
I just got one. For the life of me I cant figure out how to layer recordings. Its just writes over previously recorded material.
And did you find out how to solve that?
As a bass player looking to expand my songwriting skills, I'm considering getting this keyboard. Could you please advise me; would this give me enough tools to accomplish my mission?
Hi Jeremy
Great video about the e373. Just one question, doea it has a transpose switch?
hi Jeremy... i'm thinking to get a 88-key digital piano... is DGX-660 the best option from Yamaha or there are other models from Yamaha with similar options being offered? or should i wait for newer model to replace DGX-660? the price of DGX-660 is my max budget... tq for your great reviews...
Only DGX if you want arranger functions.. Clavinova CVP is much more expensive. ruclips.net/video/_vxC86-fxAA/видео.html

@@JeremySee ... ic... it seems that DGX-660 has been around for over 6 years... should i wait for any newer model to replace it? or should i get something cheaper for now and get the replacement for DGX-660 next when it will be released?
