- Born Richard Starkey on July 7th, 1940, Ringo Starr knew what he wanted to do from a young age, to become a drummer. With a little help from his friends, Richard acquired the name Ringo Starr, as his friends called him “Rings” since he always wore rings on his fingers. He took a liking to the name and started answering to Ringo Starkey. Eventually he dropped the “key,” added an “R” and the name Ringo Starr was born. On August 18th, 1962, Ringo Starr officially joined Paul McCartney, John Lennon, and George Harrison, in what would become The Beatles, the most important popular music act of all time, or as Ringo says, “the biggest band in the land.” Ringo has been one of the world's brightest musical luminaries. He’s enjoyed a successful, dynamic career as a drummer, singer, songwriter, collaborator, and producer. And although perhaps not as much of a car enthusiast as some of his bandmates, Ringo has certainly enjoyed multiple unique and luxurious rides. Today, we’re taking a look at the car collection of the one and only, Ringo Starr. Let’s begin.

... I remember both, the Ed Sullivan show which presented The Beatles ... And choosing the Beatles, on a juke box, while attending a Friday fish & chip fry ... Back around early '63 ... And several years later, around '68, learning to play a couple Beatles songs 🎹
140mph is fast
It must be frustrating to have everything you want then what do you do with it?

Wow ! At a boy, Ringo...
Woo-hoo ! 83 years old ! 🌞🎉
George, thn 💍 GO 🎉
4:09 That's not a heck of a lot of space for a drum kit. Besides, once the Beatles were hugely popular, were they still schlepping their own gear around in their cars?
Well if you play instruments and you really want to make sure that your equipment is safe at all times
Also, it feels at home when you play your own instrument
@@MultiGlenn10 That's what roadies are for. And the really big rock stars and bands employ instrument technicians to keep their gear in top notch condition. Your gear isn't safe it is visible in some parked car. Better in a roadie's van during transport.
It’s only right , that the least talented of the band should have the worst car collection. If he wasn’t part of that band he would have very little. Fell on his feet, that lad. No talent, no prospects…next thing you know old Ringos a multi millionaire …….
Hey harry! Take a chill pill bro!!!!!

Pointless comment. …” bro”.
Agree or disagree with my comment, I don’t give a flying f..k, but at least make a point.
I know it’s difficult as you’re a Ringo fan, but give it a go……..bro 😂
I would not call a facel Vega a shit. Car mate
Not a great drummer, but the most popular of the 4.
It is pretty funny hearing that comment from someone who probably has no talents or skills of their own. “Not a great drummer”- are you better?
Stupid comment. Considered great drummer and least favorite of the group
