Doona is actually is NOT the only travel system that can convert from car seat to stroller. In 2023 Evenflo launched the Evenflo Shyft DualRide. It is a car seat to stroller combo but has many improvements over the Doona, such as: Wheels can be removed so you actually only carry a car seat The base has a special compartment that ends up below the wheels so they do not touch your seat and don’t get your car dirty Comes with a detachable storage bag Includes Evenflo’s Sensor safe technology (temperature, tracks baby’s time buckled, etc) Designed for larger babies. I bought it for my first baby and used it for 10 months straight, I switched to a convertible car seat just so she could be more comfortable (she has always been in 90s percentile) If you’re considering the Doona, please consider Evenflo Shyft DualRide as well! P.S. this isn’t sponsored by Evenflo (I wish 😂), just a safety nerd mom here that encourages big purchases to be fully analyzed! ❤
I loved the idea of the Doona until my husband started asking about things and I I noticed there isn't much storage and as others have mentioned, it can be heavy to carry especially after a while. Also for half the price I can get the evenflo stroller and car seat and use the stroller even after the baby outgrows the car seat. So it is a better choice.
I have the Pivot in Black and very happy I chose this one instead of the Doona. The Doona is trendy but longterm, isn’t smart unless you have it like that. I love the design of the Doona however after set up the Pivot is very similar, much higher and a more comfortable handle; also a cup holder and storage included. ✨
I got the doona since i have a small apartment and car.. It's very perfect for us. Me and my husband and I got the base in our cars, so it's very easy. When it came to the drinks and whatever i got the bag attachment to it. So i have the blankets and big items attached on the back and drinks and small stuff in the front. I also got a cover that is perfect, keeping away flies. Make sure it's not cold and etc.. i also found out that there is cover for the wheels incase its dirty..so for me, i love my doona.. It's very, very easy to use..😊😊
The safety first sounds good, I have ADD and get anxious with too many steps, is about 200usd. Looks good to me. Doona looks easy but with a back surgery and a limit to carry 5 to 10 kilos, seems too heavy.
The Doona is a great idea but leaves much to be desired. For starters, it’s much too heavy once you put your baby inside. There’s no way I could carry my baby around so I’d have to use the stroller only. Not a big deal since you only use the carrier option when they’re quite small anyway. But how about all the dirt that gets on the wheels when you travel outside? Now you have to wipe them down before putting it into your car so it doesn’t get all over your seat which totally kills the convenience factor. Also the handle is simply too short. My husband is only 5’11” and has occasional back pain and he said it felt uncomfortable. I don’t see how taller men can use it unless you’re fine moving your baby around with just your fingertips. It also is super pricey for something that can’t grow with your baby. Once your child is a year old, they’re ready to face the world to see the new sights and observe and learn. The Doona keeps your child in a rear position, looking at you so you’ll have to buy another stroller again. At that point, you’re paying a total of $1k to move to a new system once they’re a toddler. Add that to the lack of storage and for me, it was too many cons than pros. If I planned to travel more in the next year, I would use it as a travel option but I don’t fly frequently enough to justify the price.

@@shih-dunliu3 we decided on the doona. It was a good choice. We live in a large city and we do use ride shares but it was the convenience for me. My diaper bag holders everything we need.
I saw a Doona today and thought it was one of the dumber gimmicks I’ve seen lately. It’s a bad stroller that gets your car dirty quickly. And the price!

Iv litrually just seen someone put this pram car seat in to a car without a base just on the back seat with no seat belt how dangerous is this x
@@nicolagriffiths3933that’s the person issue, nothing to do with the car seat itself

just based on looking at this that spring will break on the doona how durable is it?
I love my evenflo pivot!
Evenflo looks good too
it’s working great for me !
I’m so torn…I like the idea of a doona, but there’s no storage or anything. I really like the bravo as well…so many decisions
Me and you both, I'm due in 5 weeks and I can't seem to decide on which stroller to get this time around.

And let’s talk about how cheaply it’s made I didn’t like it at all
Lol, this video was sponsored by Doona
Wow, why dont you mention the weights on the carrier?????????????
I really don’t understand why they have a bunch of men reviewing strollers. I’ve watched like 10 vids, and all men. Where are the mom reviews 🤷♀️
JS
Where are the mom reviews after they actually had used the stroller? Amazon reviews say different things after all these strollers being used.
I haul my little girl everywhere. We have kids too lol
Dads are also reviewing on behalf of mums 🤷🏾♀️
Can't even understand what you are saying. You are just mumbling the words in your mouth it seems.
