That is a true looker! Nothing like that ring. Nothing makes you want to want to sing like a 12 string. I bet one way is all the way on with the truss rod for a bow like that. That sounds neat. I’ve always loved the idea of a 12-string. They’re just so jangly! Is it more difficult to play than a six string acoustic? I wonder if that preamp/EQ and piezo could be upgraded to a Fishman system. I bet it would be so much better! Thanks for the tune!

I have a Fandec (LP Style) 12 String. It's awesome. I always make sure to very slightly detune one of each pair of strings. It's boosts that Chorus effect and just sounds awesome tuned like that! \m/
I hope you’re best buddy is doing better one of my dogs had a bad ear like his holding his head sideways the vet knocked him out found a grass seed growing in there pulled it out washed it out with something they had in a bottle couple of days and he was bouncing around. Well, this is timely. I have been considering one of these for a little while. There's a small handfull of cheap 12ers available. I don't play them either. Yet.
I started out on a 12 String guitar. It was brand named CARLOS that came from California. I believe it cost around $300. The darn think exploded on me and all the strings pounds of pull, the neck hit me in the head and nearly knocked me out. 😀😀😀 I got a Yamaha 12 String next for about $600. I went with a 12 String because of how they sounded and I could change the Nut out and play the guitar as a 6 String or Nashville Tune the guitar. The Yamaha was much more expensive. I bought a Rogue branded 12 String guitar for about $300, set it up, fixed 1 high fret and it plays and sounds fine, much like my Yamaha 12 String. I love the sound of a 12 String guitar. Remember, Dave Mason played the Intro to the tune called, "All Along The Watch Tower", for Jimi Hendrix LP and on The Dave Mason Certified Live LP version of the tune . I like all versions of that tune, but Dave Mason's the most !!! "I liked this and most every video of yours very much", so keep them coming and Play On FretBro . . . 🆒👍🎸🤘☺️🎼🇺🇸🙏 DDH 11-8-2023.
Damn that's a pretty sweet acoustic for under 3 bill's , with a gig bag and extras. I'm not even a big acoustic fan , I only have one cheap Epi for when I play Cash songs...
Wow. I've only played a 12-string once and the extra strings felt weird, but boy did it sound amazing. Yeah, I'd hate to tune it or replace the strings 😮

That appears to be strung like a Rickenbacker with the lighter string being on top (that's if I am remembering correctly about Rickenbackers being that way). My Epiphone acoustic 12 string has the thicker strings on top.
Beautiful guitar Sean. I like the black finish, I'm really going to look at that when tax time shows up. I know you don't like the finish, but i love black guitars. I'm thinking on stain, maybe a black stain and then a dark rosted maple sanded back a little with a dark honey over the top. Those burl areas are awesome. See you tomorrow.
Tuning 12 strings sucks. But they sound SO good. I have a 12 string electric (LP copy by Agile) and maybe it's juts me, but the electric is so much easier to play than an acoustic.
I know this question has been posed but there are no specs on the nut width of this guitar and I'm hesitant to order a 12 string without knowing that dimension. Can you help?
Yah Kathy sure keeps you busy Shawn, but remember be careful and treat her nice or she will Bonk you over the head again just like in that other video. Don't you remember having to wear that ugly and awful neck/head brace, hahaha!

I had a Fender Shenendoah back in 1974....pain in the ass to keep it in tune.....if it were me I'd play it as a 9 string....

My concern with the Vangoa is the laminated top. I saw a review on Amazon with a photo of the bridge lifting off the body.
