The Bank Angle Limit Protection prevents the aircraft from exceeding 35º of bank angle. For most normal operations, 25 to 30 degrees of bank are usually more than enough to perform a turn.Apr 6, 2016
There is nothing wrong with a steep bank angle, as long as it is a coordinated turn. This was a demo flight , which is close to a wing over a low .g. maneuver.
As long as they don't load the wings the bank could be as large as they'd like and when the wing isn't loaded the bank doesn't last as long as the plane will start to drop.
Every time I see this I'm always in awe in how smoothly it entered and exited that bank turn. Also I want to be a passenger on test flight in this plane lol
I'm so glad we're getting planes that roll coal again Seeing the dark smoke coming out the engine exhausts as the pilots presumably mash the throttles into the firewall brings a smile to my face
@@topfelya How on earth is it possible to follow a plane with that much zoom, especially without shaking too much or it getting off focus? I really assumed it was some AI controlled camera.
I guarantee every move in that Boeing owned test plane being flown by a seasoned Boeing test pilot was choreographed in hours long meeting - days before the event. The filming was done in coordination with the photography department of Boeing. The bank angle was absolutely NOT too steep. Every demonstration of their product is completed with a minimal margin for error. Boeing does not fly their planes into the ground at air shows. Airbus has done this.

@@topfelya it said the video is not available anymore
Test pilots of a brand new 777X stop panicking. They test them out like this before entering service
To see a passenger jet do that is breathtaking!
Very impressive sight !

When its empty its a stunt plane
Passenger planes can do that but you’d need no one but the pilots to be there so no one can pass out lol
“Bank Angle Bank Angle”
That's exactly what pilots heard in cockpit
Stall!! Stall!!
😂😂😂 I wonder how many times the computer had a heart attack in the cockpit
I think they disconnected the alarms before they put it out for a test drive

777 BANK ANGEL…NO DOUBT. 😇
Yes. The Angel of Banking shined down on this bank ANGLE.
The precision engineering making that wing work almost makes it seem like it’s alive…breathtaking
The plane identifies as a F/A-18 Super Hornet and was attempting to do a barrel roll
Bro watched top gun maverick too much
Nahhh, the plane just identifies as a 707 (technically a 367-80) and the pilot identifies as Tex Johnston...
🤣🤣🤣🤣

@@marko7843 no the pilot is named ben dover, and it identifies as an MD-11

Years ago we'd go to Boeing Field and watch test flights. This video is great!

Indeed it is!
I dont know the big planes Banks! Tanks man😁

A350 be like: I can't do that. No way. Hell no🫡🫡
It can, all modern planes can they are all tested in the same way
Talk is CHEAP. @@mcmuffin-z5v
Ofc it can do that. Maybe not on normal law. The 350 is the better plane.

She's a beauty. Fingers crossed Boeing doesn't mess her up again like 787 and Max
It is messed up already. First deliveries to airlines was supposed to be a year ago. And its still without delivery date.

If that was an airliner with passengers everyone would be terrified.
Unbelievable ❤

For how big it is i am very impressed by how maneuverable it is
I flew one to London they're absolutely beautiful. What a sky bird.
How did you do that? 777-9 is still in pre production phase and hasn't received approval for delivery or passenger flights? Go back to sleep.
Do you work for Boeing? If not, then you’ve never flown on a 777X because none are being used by any airline besides Boeing
OH MY DAYS THAT IS AWESOME!!!
Watched this like 10 times
sorry to hear that

If you look closely, both are. I think it's just the right angle to see the exhaust at that moment.
