I know this is a very edited show, but man, the way everyone had something to say about AD’s body was really disgusting to me. They’re acting like they’ve never seen a woman with a nice body before. No one was saying she’s beautiful, smart, kind, feminine, not even her own fiancé. All you heard was stacked, her booty is her superpower, bookshelf, etc. But at the same time seeing AD shaking her booty when Chelsea put her on the spot felt weird to me. She either likes the attention or she has to play it down because it happens too often for her.
Unfortunately that’s what she’s putting out there and I mean she worked hard for her body but the things she’s wearing is really showing her goods and even when she had her reveal she made sure to show him her butt so I bet she’s been putting it out there like crazy and people maybe think it’s ok to comment on it bc how she’s putting it out there
I feel like it was her making it into a joke to get past the moment without acknowledging too much
AD is eating it up. for example she was shaking her butt when they complimented her body. She loves the attention to her body and sadly, that's how shes leading clay

Jimmy isn't intentionally gaslighting Chelsea. He just avoids conflict, which is why he didn't choose Jessica.
That's an interesting point. I can see that. Some of his remarks in nonconfrontational situations do give the impression that he's gaslighting/manipulative, which can also be part of avoiding conflict. I'm glad you brought that up.
A big problem this season is people saying what they think their partner wants to hear instead of saying how they actually feel. I don't think the couples will last this time.
and it just occurred to me, if he is so averse to confrontation, why would he be so openly flirtatious with AD the way he was?

Did anyone else notice, they showed a lot more scenes of the cast eating in the pods? I felt like they were trying to combat the accusations about not letting contestants eat and stuff.
And Chelsea shouted across the beach to AD to vilify and reduce her to her butt...projecting her insecurity onto her because Hank Hill 😂 commented on AD.
I think Kenneth is giving a hesitant presentation toward his wife, because of his role in the church and his role as a principal. I think he’s trying to have the right image on TV for those roles.

No, I think he is not feeling her as much. Just finished watching this episode and I saw the stark contrast between his convo with Brittany, and then with AD. He was ALIVE with AD (speaking with his hands, voice raised, laughing), not mumbling and just nodding his head like with Brittany... and always mentions how he never been with a white girl. I think he wanted black love and sees that natural camaraderie with AD that is missing with Brittany.
Very good point, I also feel him being stand offish is his defense mechanism, I don’t think he really truly feels that Britney is into her. I feel like he does like her and find her attractive bc when they both met and he proposed he was so ecstatic of her beauty.
You asked if we thought that AD was flirting with everybody. I think that the fact that she believes that she doesn’t deserve love, but is often drawing attention to her body - with her man, and with others - probably means that she feels her value is in her physical self. Sad, because I think she’s quite lovely. Hopefully she realizes it someday.

I think people are jumping the gun and not looking at the situation clearly. All the women were swooning over the fact he was clearly being attentive and protective of her; being gentlemanly and getting her a chair. He has a big, teddy bear, manly presence. They are saying they would feel safe with him because he is doting and kind.
I heard it and didn't pick up on the question either because they were fawning over Kenneth's actions. But, it does cause you to pause because getting someone a chair doesn't warrant that question. I am very weary of Chelsea and Laura.
From the beginning, production has focused on displaying AD's figure in long shots in the cube from all angles, cropping the scenes on the beach where the curve of her bottom in the shot or just her cleavage. She's super curvy because her waist is so TINY, which was the marker of beauty for decades.

Jimmy is a total conundrum to me. Why would multiple women in the pods be pining for him? I get that they couldn’t see him (since he’s not all that to look at) so they didn’t know he wasn’t physically attractive but…dude isn’t mentally, emotionally, sense of humor, etc unique or attractive either!? actually I've been racking my brain about this as well, and my theory is that his blandness was actually the EXACT factor that worked for him. He was pleasant enough to come off as a nice guy, and the women could easily envision any personality they liked on him, because he was kind of a blank slate like that. They allowed their own desires for companionship and love to fill in the gaps of his generic personality, and in their minds he became this amazing guy.
