I love this one. For me this song represents the end of summer feeling. It definitely a summer bop, but also has a kind of nostalgic sadness. Like it’s the last night of summer, you’re on the beach with friends, you’re having fun living it up but you’re also sad because you know it’s almost over as you reminisce of the good times you had over summer.
Wow lot of ppl not actually commenting on the video but asking for other videos that she most likely has a list for Anyway the DIA song is good the video is kinda lacking just glad to see they are finally showing other members of the group really glad to see Yebin start and be the center of the video for the opening.
@@acidkatk it wasn't a lie, just was a misunderstanding. Eunice said on the showcase that since they didn't had a comeback since so long it's feels like if was their last one cuz they didn't think AID (their fanbase) would wait for them but obviously that wasn't the case and to demonstrate them we were there for them no matter how long it takes we finally gave them their 1st win! So please support them on their November comeback^^ Also, support Yebin in her last promotions with UNI.T by streaming 난 말야 (I Mean)🙏
I easily felt the emotion-direction of their "monotone" looks. For me it also hooked into the phone call at the end. Nice to see a summer M/V have a little variation/complexity.
I personally got the vibe of how a party sometimes goes "stale" if it lasts too long from this MV. We are having fun at spring break or whatever, but at one point the fun is over and you are stuck there with some stale pizza. I agree though the MV lacks a plotline that was understandable, I would have liked it to be more "fun and exploratory" in the tone.
I liked the contrast of the monotone expressions with the song. I think the phone at the end was representing reality, or the end of a holiday, and that's possibly why they held their facial expression.
Oh wow Will You Go Out With Me was your #1 last year? I never thought about it, but same for me. Not many people have heard that song, but I played that shit so much.
I kinda assumed the monotone expressions were bc the lyrics are the typical "I can have any boy but you" but the comment about the concept being summer leaving makes sense too. I don't really think they'd be allowed to look pouty and sad in a music video. Either way, issa bop
Jenny is so pretty, shes the girl with the short hair! I actually like the song, though it's a little lacking, I think they have potential to do better.
I'm pretty sure the straight faces were supposed to be like them getting caught. Like they are trying to do something fun, but they aren't allowed to or something like that.
i really think this girls enjoy being an idol and perform, but MBK is still not paying them for years and thats why we got this sad facial expression from them 😞😞😞
I think those starring scenes you're talking about happens in a ton of MV's now (i.e. Peek-a-boo, dumb dumb, etc... from Red Velvet) It's a weird psychological thing where our brains think everything is okay then when they stare right at us it throws our brains off and make it subconsciously eerie and bizarre, especially in asian culture where it's super rude to make eye contact, but that feeling is very foreign and seductive to the viewer, the fear of getting caught watching. It's an easy way to make someone remember a MV.
Ahhh u have me on a cliff hanger because u said u were going to talk about the curtain and now I'll never know 😟 haha but love your reaction none the less 😊😋
I totally saw the MV tying to how this might be their last comeback ever. The telephone could be a connection to their "will you go out with me" promo (but then again it could be more than that too) but there was also a cake in the back in that ending screen and I think its cause DIA s anniversary is in Sept...so the end of summer. i just saw the whole mv as them trying their best to have their last hurrah but underneath they're all quite upset of the possibility that it could be their last. Its really sad to think about and MBK already has so many problems when it came to promoting and handling their artists...I believe Shannon who is an artists under MBK and an amazing artist at that...even she threw shade at them for their management issues
I really like the song, it has that soft/sad vibe to it, not something I expected from a summer comeback. Kinda reminds me of "That Day" by Lovelyz. The video was pretty lackluster though, like I felt it was just there. I was also a big fan of Will You Go Out With Me, and I thought DIA would never be able to top that but they were very close this time.
i kinda understand the theory of this mv. It talks about their journey within the last 3 years, although having 2 members joined Produce 101 and made it to ioi, another 2 joined The Unit and got one made it to Uni.T both in order to gain fame for the group but they're still doing not fine. Rumor had it this comeback might have been their last if they didn't win anything but luckily they did so another comeback is coming soon end of this month. The MV certainly showcases 4 specific members for a reason, like how they tune down and look far away right after playing scenes or only other members being happy while they're not which in the metaphor of them thinking about DIA's feature despite what they've gone through for me group. When everybody is tuned down means they're all looking to the same failing fate of DIA. The last scene when Yebin gets up highlights the path of her distribution to Uni.T as the final hope for DIA a.k.a she changing up the atmosphere for everyone. Chayeon at the final scene got the call of responsibility on dedicating to lift the group up.
you literally posted a comment about how two songs sound identical, that's not "knowing so much" .you ain't tinashe's producer cause then you wouldn't even be revealing this.
prove that she gave the instrumental to them lmao i wish people would stop saying that when there's no proof of it. Stop being so quick to support artistic plagiarism, it's disgusting.
Please check out/react to WJSN’s ‘Save Me,Save You’ and Uni.T’s ‘I Mean’ also love your vids and honest opinions and for some reason they push me to like or not like a song guess seeing and hearing someone’s opinions just makes me realize things
I have mixed feelings about Dia. I loved will you go out with me, and then their next few songs where meh to me. But this song made it to my summer playlist!
I know I am late for posting this but I lowkey think the music video has a secret message. I read somewhere that the telephone at the end and them not picking it up is symbolic of DIA disbanding. The public, which is represented by the phone, was ignoring them, the phone not ringing, and when they finally paid attention to them but it was too late. That rumor was debunked since they won and had a new song so I can of have a theory that is derivative of the first theory. I think the music video is trying to represent summer in a sad. Personally for me I always disliked the summer as a kid since when the end was near it was the worst feeling. For the girls in the video, the summer for them starts fun but as time moves and the last night comes you realize that time is over and that you have to go back to your mundane life. This could also be reflective of the girls as when they first debuted it probably felt like the beginning of summer. You finally have a decent amount of time to attempt something but as the summer ends you realize that even though you had some time you really did not accomplish much as one might expect. DIA had 3 years but never really made it big.

it might be their last release?? they're breaking up???
@@1person1me They will have a comeback in mid November. It's confirmed.
Pretty sure that was a lie due to the ending of the music video makes it obivious that there will be a part 2. But it's what I think at least.
