his sample packs (the exact sample packs that many kpop producers used) have already been used by many western producers way before kpop become famous. He is one of the top 5 producers in the entire music industry and is already earning big bucks from it. So ya. i dont think he need to create a sample pack just for kpop as he will be earning way more from elsewhere. 😊
the thing people dont know about kshmr is that his influence isn't only spreaded in kpop, you literally can hear his sound in pretty much EVERYWHERE and that's crazy
It's not a sample but technically they would've used the sample in pre production and then re recorded it. There's another xg song with a sample interpolation line@@taemteez
I knew I heard hala hala before, it was in some youtuber's intro a long time ago!! and now I know why. crazy how several kpop groups love the same KSHMR album, KSHMR made soooo much money lol and whoever is behind it or whatever team it is, JESUS they are SO GOOD

Outside of Kpop it’s ridiculous how much influence KSHMR has on the music industry. Many of his samples are found in most of the pop and EDM music you hear.
Yeah, his samplepacks are what Vengeance Essential Clubsounds were in the 2000s, they're everywhere. Really great quality imo, although I never used their synth loops/ideas
Most of the times the sample is the most iconic part of the song... Like the song is build on it It kinda makes me like the song a bit less because I know that a random someone came up with my favourite part of the song 😅 I mean... not always... I like when they are used in a very creative way Where do they find these samples?
samples are found on splice as said in the title & thumbnail! and tbh as a producer i wanna say that building a song on a sample is wayyy more difficult than youd think. the creativity required to make a sample really fit in a song is insane. but i definitely understand where youre coming from w that!!
@@taemteezWell I'm not an expert, just an avid listener, so I trust you haha No seriously I find music production very fascinating :) Honestly I was mostley thinking about songs like Lisa's Money and I don't know some others song, maybe the more hiphop-ish, where there is the sample almost in loop and there's not much else happening in the instrumentals, I find that less creative but then I remembered that it's a common thing to do in hip hop /rap genre
even if you keep sampling aside, there is a high chance that a lot of your fav parts in kpop or any other music industry, especially if they are popular or mainstream, were come up by a "random someone" because these are highly collaborative projects. Music, art and human creativity are very derivative in nature. I can understand why feel that way. I used to feel a slight of sense of being lied to when I was a beginner and thought "who have to be 100% original in making art and sampling feels like cheating", but as I learned more, my thought changed. There is nothing original in the world, everything is derivative. Many amazing songwriters and producers took time and made such amazing samples for others to use and many share their samples for free as well. As someone who makes music alone, to be able to access samples from anywhere and being able to be come across to new sounds and instruments opens us up to new form of creativity. I may never be able to hire an orchestra to record the notes, but someone else could and shared it for others. About finding samples, you can find them on internet services like Splice and many producers also sell samples on their personal websites as well.
this video is awesome! we need more videos like this, because as a producer myself I think it's fascinating seeing other people use the same sample packs I do
