A fracture zone is a rock crushed in rock and contains a lot of groundwater in the gap It is a soft stratum. In this tunnel excavation work, it made the most difficulties. It was normally planned to be completed in 10 days, but it took seven months to break through the fracture zone.

Always compared this to the Dual Mode system in Seattle before the LINK LRT was built. The European-built dual mode buses ran in the tunnel to Convention Place station before they had the LRT system go down there. In 2018 or 2019 buses stopped running in the tunnel with LRT completely.

have to ask this if I may, since these busses run on those Overhead Electricial Wires, what would happen if the power suddenly Cutout, I mean, do these busses have something in the way of Backup generators on them just so that they would still be able to keep Going until the power is restored Or would all of the busses just stop dead in their tracks, and not be able to go again until the power is restored?????
I though trolleybus has been researched (at least) in the previous century. But if it's about the tunnel system... well then strange bcz it's very slow and it's not an automated system. weird
It appears to be Tateyama Tunnel Trolleybus if I am correct, it's in Toyama prefecture, west Tokyo, north side of Japan, google it, I find it on Wikipedia =). And it's seems to be pretty cool to visit and walk to this location. Next time in Japan I think, I'll give it a closer look ;)

It's rather interesting; it looks like a bus, but it kind of behaves a lot like a train. I bet it's ran on electricity. I love how they wave at everyone and stuff. The way they conduct this system is very polite; it would be almost weird if transport operators were this welcoming in the UK. 😂 It's quite infrequent, where I'm from.
If you look above the buses you can see the rails that supply them with electricity. Buses like these are used in Russia on the streets but are obviously somewhat limited in being able to avoid an obstruction due to this design, this is the best application for it. This is how most if not all services are run in Japan from what I've seen in other RUclips videos and documentaries etc, and it's extremely impressive. Although I'd love to see the UK's transport to be this pleasant and efficient, I doubt I could adjust to it very quickly. :)

From what I can see, it appears the yellow markers are used on the final vehicle. The rest use green. Visual cue for the operators that no more buses are coming in the other direction I'm guessing.

This electrical bus has two overhead lines. How is it possible to use the same overhead lines for two directions? One is Plus, the other is Minus. Why is the electrical bus not driving backwards? In one direction the polarity is right, in the other direction the electrical motor should rotate in the other direction because the polarity changes.
I'm pretty sure the bus has some sort of controller between the power and the motor, which allows the motor to spin forward regardless of the polarity (and also control the speed).

Потому что переделывали с автобусного маршрута. А это проще, чем строить железнодорожные пути. Пассажиропоток там явно недостаточный для железной дороги.

They don't use pantographs per say, they are trolley poles like early 20th century trams had. There's a dedicated switching system, although they could be designed to be spring loaded so that when facing the switch, they are set correctly, and when coming from the other side, the trolley pole moves the switch mechanism temporarily to pass through, before the spring returns it to the previous setting (i.e. to route oncoming vehicles correctly). This is a spot that represents the difficult part of construction in a place called a crushing zone.
Only the section is blue to identify it.

50年くらい前には、東京でもトロリーバスはありました。もちろん、私は観た事も乗った事も無いですけど。排気ガスも出さないから良いとこ思うんですけど。整備、敷地、とかに問題があるのでしょうか?そのかわり、ロシアのハバロフスクでトロリーバスに乗りました。こんなに、綺麗では無かったけど。楽しい体験でした。

+長縄卓 +railfan aunz お二方に聞きますけど、関電のトロリーバスにしても、VVVF車両に交換してからそんなに経ってませんよね?だからと言って、老朽化で済ますのはおかしいよ。それと冬場は運休なのに。あと、交換前のトロリーバスは結構、働いてたし。
交換前のトロリーバスに、高校(←定時制ですけど)の修学旅行で乗った経験のある私には何だか複雑です。

In one direction the polarity is right, in the other direction the electrical motor should rotate in the other direction because the polarity changes.
One wire is simply a ground.
Are you sure that it's not alternating current?
Would a polarity changing relay switch really be that hard to include in the dashboard?
Think it through...
I'm pretty sure the bus has some sort of controller between the power and the motor, which allows the motor to spin forward regardless of the polarity (and also control the speed).
This reminds me of the underground tunnel in Midgar in Final Fantasy VII. Makes me wonder if there is a relation here.

Потому что переделывали с автобусного маршрута. А это проще, чем строить железнодорожные пути.
Пассажиропоток там явно недостаточный для железной дороги.
А вообще так заморочиться по поводу троллейбуса, это уметь надо
похоже на бункер переделанный,частично. несколько ответвлений закрытых,сложные коммуникации.интересно бы понять откуда и куда маршут,город какой

It's like a metro system but with buses, very weird.
Bloody hell that's anxiety inducing. The engine sounds like an air raid siren, whilst that girl endlessly calls out spots on the wall (there's nothing else to see, so I am guessing) at a million syllables a second, and you get periodically blinded by the lighting, all the while feeling like you are in Honey I Shrunk the Kids except you're in a bus and progressing along the large intestine of The Terminator.
Very cool! The electric motors need better sound insulation but otherwise, this was fun. Another thing to add to my list of things to see in Japan.

Also i'm surprised how many people didn't knew about Trolleybuses. They are a common sight in Russian cities.
They were very common in the USA about 50 years ago as we transitioned from trolleys to trolley buses and then to petrol-powered buses. However, they only lasted about 15 years, and it was long enough ago that most people alive today never knew about them. (Note: I'm drawing no conclusions about "better". I'm just describing what happened.0

I'd more interested with those pantographs switching lanes.
They don't use pantographs per say, they are trolley poles like early 20th century trams had. There's a dedicated switching system, although they could be designed to be spring loaded so that when facing the switch, they are set correctly, and when coming from the other side, the trolley pole moves the switch mechanism temporarily to pass through, before the spring returns it to the previous setting (i.e. to route oncoming vehicles correctly). Интересная штука. Впервые вижу что-то вроде метро-троллейбуса. Ну и да. Сначала даже не понял, что это перед троллейбуса, а не зад, пока не увидел, куда штанги направлены.
Сзади красные фонари, спереди фары) Всёж таки толково у них там. И отношение людей другое ко всему. Если и пишут на заборе слово из трёх букв то только строго в отведённом для этого месте на заборе.
А они без номеров маршрута?

Why is this tunnel so wet?
It is the influence of the fracture zone that the tunnels are wet.
It was illuminated by a blue light in the middle of the tunnel.
A fracture zone is a rock crushed in rock and contains a lot of groundwater in the gap
It is a soft stratum.
In this tunnel excavation work, it made the most difficulties.
It was normally planned to be completed in 10 days, but it took seven months to break through the fracture zone.
