cade has never been in mainstream media. he’s not flashy, and on a bad team, so everyone overlooks how elite he really is

This is one of those teams that’s gonna go from lottery team to playoff team in one off-season. So much young talent and cap space. They’ll be a play-in team next year.

This is the right perspective mainly because the people commenting on the pistons do not watch them. I’ve watched every game and his hands are all over every win the team has.

@@milesallen5590 yeah I didn’t know how much Chris Paul made Monty Williams career until now. Guy is a terrible coach, which is disappointing cause he seems to be a good guy outside of basketball.

As a Pistons fan, it was Monty Williams who was starting Killian because he wasn’t a fan or Iveys defense. It took a meeting between Weaver, Gores, and Monty for him to make the switch and put Ivey in over Hayes. The owner and GM had to beg Monty not to do so but Monty thought he could fix him.

I've watched every game as a Pistons fan. Cade was getting bad information from the coaching staff early this season. Since they've been running more of that high handoff action between Cade, JD and JI, the offense has looked waaaay smoother , and that's on Monty.

Cade decision making got to be faster in pick and roll has to learn how to break down double teams faster without turning ball over need to work on handles and get a better iso game and defense needs improvement need 2 more years to see what his potential could be

  • @sosmooth13

It’s honestly very simple. When his 3pt shot is falling, he’s getting an easy 25 pts. Especially when his teammates or bigs like Fontecchio are hitting their shots and spacing the floor. I also really want Monty to start using Ivey as a fast break layup spark-plug type of player instead of just having him chill on the wing. Ivey also has to do his own due diligence and improve his shooting and shot creation too.
