Thanks for the memories! You captured a lot of good bands too. I pretty much saw a lot of what you saw. No disrespect to the artist on side stages but the main stage from Incubus to Deftones to Korn to System of a Down was where you wanted to be. That pace of going from chill vibes of Incubus to SOAD was perfect. You were in a great spot being that close but I was in the middle and it was awesome to see the lightshow and all the pits popping off. The sea of people behind you was crazy because from the middle to behind me stretched so far back. SOAD absolutely melted my face with that 31 song setlist! Thanks again for uploading this.
Great to see Cold again… love Scooter’s vocals, and the drums and guitars kick ass, too (btw, 13 ways to bleed on stage was one of the best albums of the 2000s as far as nu-metal is concerned).
You basically watched almost all the bands I would have watched too... (but unfortunately I live in Europe and couldn't attend)! 🙂 Thanks for the upload!
Great lineup, but the side stages had SOOOOO many technical issues. The organizers tried to fit too many bands into too short a time and it was an absolute mess.
Please, another edition of SNW. I did not make it to this one. But damn, it looks like people are melting in there. "the shade is a tool, a device, a savior, see, I look up to the sky but my eyes hurt"
WTF How you not gonna recap KoRn ❓ Which should have headlined this festival in my opinion. The Biggest and most successful band there, besides Deftones.
Honestly I would have spent all day at the side stages because pretty much all those bands are awesome then I would have gone to see Deftones then went back to the side stages. Missing She Wants Revenge during Deftones would have been very difficult though
@@WheeXul do you feel like it should have been spread out over a multiple day period, or did it go smoothly considering all the big names on this bill? I'm genuinely curious because everytime a new festival happens we are constantly reminded of fyre fest and astroworld. I would like to think that my metal brothers and sisters care enough about everyone's wellbeing to not hurt eachother, but as I've said, I've been hearing some not so good experiences.
People are just talking shit. The festival was amazing. The only problems were at the smaller stages. The mainstage had no issues except for flyleafs set. Most of the shit talking are people who didn't even go and were probably jealous of those who did.
worst venue Ive ever been to. The bands were great, but standing on asphalt in Vegas heat with little to no shade was miserable. the stage set up sucked as there were serious bleed over from stage to stage when the sound was working that is. Both the main stages and the smaller stages had issues. Again, loved the bands, but Ill go see them somewhere else for sure.
I was at the mainstage all day and there were no issues other than lacy strums mic during flyleaf. Its las vegas at the beginning of summer, I'm not really sure what you were expecting or maybe you're new to the festival scene but it pretty much went exactly as I expected it would. Maybe your expectations were waaayy too high.
Bro Chi is gone. Give whoever the bass player is a chance. Did a really good job moving around, and the 2 new kids sang background vocals.. Not bad at all!!!
@@mgojay and the Bass player that took his place is give because of turmoil within the band. Sergio Vega was a great bass player. You can read why he left Deftones all over the net
I guess you missed that they had 2 huge popular singles from their debut album candyass. Vapor Transmission the 2nd album had 3 huge hits. Punk static paranoia had 2 as well. Sucks to suck mate
They are far from still together the only original member is Jay Gordon and the whole Candyass album was really good the next 2 albums had some good songs on them too.
that's funny dog both Blue Monday and Stitches retired in the #1 spot on TRL. Secondly at least 3-4 others Billboard top 10 alternative/ metal charts idiot. Whack facts bro. Gee I wonder who you are friends with from the original band. haha..
What a sick line up, it's like I am relieving my childhood with all these amazing bands playing live.

I was being crushed during deftones so tysm for recording this lol😊
I know the feeling all too well 😂
That’s so dope man! I heard it was hotter tf in Vegas, but it sure looked like it was worth bearing through it.
chino looks amazing compared to what he looked like a few years ago
Definitely!
Chino kicked his bad habits it seems and got into sports. Definitely looks healthy

That's awesome!! 🤣
Very lucky to see SOAD live

cold + chevelle my top2 faves here

Cold brought so many high school memories 😎
You’re making me feel so old, I was like 27 when I got into Cold… Scooter’s vocals are amazing
My God...SOULFLY self-titled was the first metal CD i ever bought at 14. Melted my brain 🫠

Wow deftones seems really nice watching live
I wish I could have went to this

Missing She Wants Revenge during Deftones would have been very difficult though
That’s pretty much what I did. I stayed at the Sick Stage all day then moved to the main stages for Deftones, Korn, and SOAD.
That day was the modern Woodstock.
Woodstock? You compare that ancient “classic rock” love fest to this Nu Metal marathon?!?
Thank God scooter singing from when they were still good😅
You didn't see Stabbing Westward's set
Unfortunately no.. i wanted to.. so many overlaps
Do u get VIP?
Yeah I had VIP
They should have had mindless self indulgence
Kinda messed up watching both cold and evanescence rocking the stage and uncle Terry nowhere to be found 😢

I'm officially disappointed I didn't go. Not like it was an active choice.
Also, to just cut Korn out of this experience completely is disrespectful.
Korn is my personal #1! But I chose to be in front of SOAD because I haven't seen them live in 20 years, and I catch Korn almost every year!
@@WheeXul I've easily seen korn 50+ times, so I feel u on that
Watered up fest
I heard the entire festival was a shit show. The only band that played without any issues was Korn. I'll wait for sonic temple as i live in Cleveland.
It really wasn't as bad as people seem to think.. they had a few hiccups but it was overall a good show.
