R9 is kind of a new item, let them work out the bugs, get the 2026/2027 R9 if you really like it.
I got a new 2023 left over BMW S1000RR last December for 0% interest. Was my dream bike it displays the speed limit on the dash, tons of power, sexy looking, hill breaking, port for a battery tender,.
Easy answer is the R9. Looks so damn good and the CP3 engine is bulletproof. And that White and Red color scheme is the one I'm getting. Can't wait for my dealership to get it and to see what aftermarket support it'll have on launch. As you'd think a exhaust for a MT09 could fit easily to the R9.
Yeah the R9 is 🔥. I got the red/white on lock too. I actually put in an order at two dealerships to ensure I cop one.

But what does it bring it terms of content? MT09 is past here.
I watch the show called shade tree the guy another new rides older bikes but he also takes trips short ones and long ones You should try a trip on a motorcycle it's absolutely wonderful.

The Triumph Trident 660, especially the 2025 is one of the best deals in the middleweight world. I can't recommend them enough as a do everything bike
Triumph has many cool new bikes, hard to choose. I need to give Triumph a chance.

Wait until all the new bikes are released, then decide. I still think H-D will come out with the Bronx, only it'll be in the 1250cc flavor with the Pan Am tune at 150Hp/94Tq. The FTR 1200 Carbon is ridiculously fun, I test rode one last year and loved it. I was hoping Indian would hurry up and ADV-ify the FTR (they already have the Rally trim, who knows what the hold up is) but they sat on their thumbs and I ended up with a Pan Am. The FTR didn't feel as fast as my Pan Am, but 120Hp/87Tq is more than enough for the street. That Rally trim would be good for a some light "off the beaten path" action too. Good luck on your choice!

I agree. Too many sick bikes out rn. I'm kinda between an R1250 RS and a Japanese tall rounder. The Ducati 950 is a good engine. Triumphs are generally good. Hard to go wrong anymore.
No brainer! Ducati Hypermotard 698 mono RVE.
Forged wheels sucks on supermotos tho, not good for messing around on staircases and off-road.
@@CycleCruza Let us see what upgrades result from EICMA next November, in Milan. Having said that I have seen a reviewer jumping the 698 off a ramp 3 feet off the ground. It is the suspension that softens the impact.
Personal philosophy of mine is never buy the 1st year of anything. Let the gremlins get worked out before being a customer. The R9 is definitely dope,especially if another color becomes available.

Thrilled with my '23 XSR9.. out the door for $10.3K. Add the Fairing, Brembos, shock upgrades, bigger screen, a few more modes etc.. and the R9 is the bargain of '25. Can you believe what the KLX300 is going for? Add the markup.. Rip OFF.

Id go with the Ducati Street fighter V2 with no hesitation
Definitely get the R9. It'll probably tick all your boxes and keep things exciting. From all the other bikes you talked about the R9 is in that upper sweet spot out of all of them. That Rocket 3 is gorgeous too but they are chonky. I test rode the Suzuki GSX-8R, the 8S' sporty sibling, and it felt great but more of something I'd get after a starter bike than something that's more advanced.
Yeah the R9 will light a 🔥.All I know is that CP3 engine is amazing.
My choice is gonna be based off the top speed of the r9. If it clips out at 135 like the fz than I’m going back to an 09’ r6 and rebuilding it.
Fz can be tuned to hit 145-150mph. After the 2 less teeth on the rear sprocket / change of gearing you should be able to hit 155-160mph on the R9. Don’t trip about top speed bro
More than enough top end for the streets.
If I was to get a Speed Twin I'd get the 1200:))) I'd like to try the Triumph Tiger Sport 800.

No new bike is my advice. Let some other poor sucker buy it at an inflated price to have the latest and greatest. New models can have problems their first year too, so I'd avoid them also.
I might just buy it to flip it for profit after a few months. They will be sold out and people will be willing to pay extra for it. Just like it was for the PS5.
So you plan on praying on fellow bikers..what a swell guy..you are..just because some other people are scalping..does it make it the right decision to do the same ?resources wouldn't be in short supply if people didn't choose to be greedy.. just get a Triumph Rocket 3 if you want a cruiser..since you like torque..can't think of a bike with more torque then a Rocket 3..

Get a Yamaha MT-125. So that way, you can ride as safely as possible.
For yo style ma Cruza which i think ever since your Honda wild colored 1000 and since we both owned KTM 690's and have similar opinions,go with a high torque mid+ low level street fighter like the Suzuki GSX800 or the 750 as well as the new Honda Hornet that has good looks and specs 🚀
Whatever bike I end up getting will be torquey as hell, that is for sure!
Rumors are that suzuki is making a new drz400 with efi and a 6th gear.

Which Harley is the best? As far as looks, the only Harley that ever caught my eye was the Breakout.
The R9 is no different than the MT09, just less comfortable. CB hornet nice, but much the same as any other naked in that category. Ducati 698 mono is so unique with all the electronics that can teach you how to back it in, wheelie, all on safety.
I agree but the R9 will draw the most interest and I need to finally hit the track and what better bike to do it on than a R9. The Ducati 698 Mono is cool but forged wheels sucks for proper hooligan riding. Crack those rims riding up staircases and that could set you up for a real f'kd up day!
