may i ask, the technique you use when spamming feathers to spam burst counter also, what exactly does this do? is it to cut the animation time so you can use feathers again? or for damage? sorry for all the questions just very curious as i tried using the same technique and for me i dont get enough dps with the feathers inbetween the bosses going into the dark realm.
So you spam the burst counter to cast the feathers faster. However you have to use the feathers when the enemy is out of ki so you get a x5 damage. Ideally you also apply confusion so you deal more damage and the enemy doesn't go into the dark realm

As someone who just started Nioh 2 and beat the snake boss, I am absolutely impressed. Running dual swords and was already aiming for the feathers and a Kuma build asap so its nice to see this is just extremely strong

Great build & tutorial. I've started the game today, and this video was more useful than many websites. Since Way of the warrior meant nothing on Nioh, I should just speed up as well with feathers, animation cancels, and salty bosses.
Fantastic run. I criticised this game for being way too hard in comparison to the first nioh but I didn’t know about certain tricks like the magic/ninjutsu along with soul counter cancels the animation. I’m really looking forward to getting the game again on ps5, just need to get a ps5 first ...

@@chrisjanzen7748 Ninja Feathers are cracked. He has like 70 Dex plus Confusion with Purity from the salt and the element from the Feather. The most broken thing about the Feathers is that you can spam them by animation cancelling with Burst Counters. You can also do it with a normal Ki Pulse but the timing is a lot stricter.

From what I saw, you throw salt to take away Ki from enemies, and other buffs to blast them. salt is the secret because all the Ki goes to the enemy, right?
i put points into Dex because my main dps is ninjutsu and ninjutsu scales Dex. The reason i always stagger the boss is because i remove his ki with salt
I understand damaging the bosses ki with salt and spamming the feathers, but what are you doing with your demon mode? It looks like you proc it before hitting them with magic, are you stunning them out of their animation?
@@ShayTD I didn't know that 😂 I only use it to imply elemental damage and switch back to mid/high stance directly. That's why I love Nioh 2, after playing hundreds of hours I am still learning new stuff in this deep combat system!

Ninja skill Shadow Hearts aka Feather. There are 3 element. Burst counter (R2+O) for cancel long animation so you can spam all ammunition in short time.

So you spam the burst counter to cast the feathers faster. However you have to use the feathers when the enemy is out of ki so you get a x5 damage.

if by demon mode you mean burst counter we use that to cancel feathers animation so we can cast them faster

He is using a lot ninjutsu (so do i). It looks like magic. And it is damn broken if u realise what damage it does, when the purple enemy bar is down.

Its confusion status. Where if the enemy is affected by two or more status effects. Like he did burn and saturation.
