I like the song. Least fav single, but the song's meaning very much seems like John looking out of his window during quarantine, wondering what's happening to the world and praying to God for refuge and peace. "When I open my eyes I can't believe it..." I also like how they are continuing the themes/story of their older songs, "It's getting harder to say I'm undefeated..." 😉 I agree; a key change would have been great at the end, but oh well.
Thank you for taking your time for this cool breakdown of Refuge. Love your reactions, very solid. Hoping Dominion won't disappoint 🙏 Skillet very talented as always.
It’s still a good song honestly, I have found a bit more meaning to the song personally and I really loved it. I can’t wait till the full album release
I noticed a difference between the original version of the song and the lyric video version. Around 3:12 theres a little lead guitar part, but in the lyric video version it’s replaced with a different guitar part, which is more rhythmic. That rhythmic part is also all throughout the final chorus. Just an interesting thing I noticed. I absolutely love the song tho Edit: 3:12 in the song, not ur video to be clear
Damn, what a cutie this guy is. He's so hot 😍 I also think it's rather simple, kinda sounds too much like Anchor to me as well. Not my vibe, but well done regardless.
This was a great reaction ! If you want to be introduce to a new band I recommend (CITIZEN SOLDIER) 🔥. These boys make music with a deep or motivating message. Please react to "Mess Of Me" or "Empty Cup" by them.🔥🤘🏻
@@Giratina575 yeah right, but I think he likes the heavier ones more, that is why he should look it up the first one mentioned first for a good introduction to the band. But anyway I love "Found" and all soft songs by CS the most "Always December" ❄
This was a nice switch-up for skillet. The first two songs that they released off the up & coming album were a big let-down, but I think to expect the old skillet to just come back out of nowhere; is a bit too much to ask from them, especially since they became more commercially successful.

To Me Its The Lions And Stars Of The Album Dominion
This song is beautiful, compelling because it speaks to the things hiding in my core. I love it!
There is a literal out of the world metaphor in this song: he is singing to God. This is a worship song

This might be one of my favorites of all time from them

Found is another beauty by them

The first two songs were great, the heck you talking about? Especially Standing in the Storm... the sound of that chorus was glorious.
