    Not related to this video but I have a question
    In what order would you recommend to go through your books in order to reach a intermediate level? If you already know hangeul, what order would you recommend?
    Like grammar book level 1 along with workbook level 1 and ?
    And after finishing level 1,
    Level 2 book + workbook and ?
    I thought that it would be easier to know the order as it would be hard to go through many books at once and be confused?
    Do you have a recommend order ? 🙃 thanks

  • @MadnessQuotient
    @MadnessQuotient 3 года назад +2

    But do the counters have a meaning like "loafs" of bread or "pieces" of paper?
    And do Koreans deliberately mess with them to play with words? Like I might say "can you pass me a slice of paper?". Obviously paper is counted in sheets or pieces, but using the wrong word deliberately for humourous effect is a thing people do.
    "Ah, look over there! A huge flock of cows in the field!"

    So many "professional" translators for movies and dramas translate the counter word. Suppose the screen says 2021 년, the English subtitle will says Year 2021 or 2021 Year! Wrong. If the screen said 개 3 마리, we would not translate it as "3dogs animal counter" would we? If the date is written 2021 년 4 원 5 il, American style we would write April 5, 2021. We would not write April month 5 day, 2021 year.
