This is my Spider-Man movie ranking 11. Spider-Man far from home 10. The amazing Spider-Man 2 9. Venom 8. Venom 2 : Let there be carnage 7. Spider-Man homecoming 6. Spider-Man 3 5. Spider-Man into the spiderverse 4. The amazing Spider-Man 3. Spider-Man no way home 2. Spider-Man 1. Spider-Man 2
I was worried about No Way Home but I left the theater with a big humongous smile on my face, it’s a beautiful tribute to the Spider-Man film franchise as a whole and teasing what’s next for Tom’s iteration of Spider-Man. That last shot of the film gave me emotional chills and I’ll forever cherish that moment till I’m old and grey.
To Tobey, Andrew, and Tom: thank you for wearing the mask. You have captured the hearts of millions and instilled in us the virtues of sacrifice, honor, love, loss, and responsibility. I will never forget how you made me feel when Tobey stopped a moving train to save everyone inside, or when Andrew forgave himself for the death of Gwen, or when Tom gave up Peter’s happiness for the happiness of MJ and Ned. This is the legacy of Spider-Man, our hero.
I agree 100% i love the idea of what they wanted to do for amazing Spider-Man, not making him “spiderman” until the bridge scene (when he actually becomes the hero, and calls himself spiderman) but the execution wasnt there.
@@Stefan_Gerards with all the spiderman shit coming out. first carnage, then this, then SM 2 on ps5 and new spiderverse trailer, they’re shoving spiderman dick down our throats and were taking that shit. On god we taking that shit!
as a person not clouded by nostalgia, as ive only learned to love all these movies in the past few years ( since i hadnt watched them before then ) i undoubtably think into the spiderverse is the perfect film as it masters each aspect of a fulfilling movie perfectly and has no flaws or potholes, with the best visuals of any spiderman or likely any animated film.
I actually noticed some plot holes in spider verse but it shouldn't taken in a bad way. It just hides them better, for example the writers of no way home said that they knew that people would say that the film has plot holes but they had to choose to ether explain them or let the emotions take it from there so technically no way homes plot holes have already been addressed and fixed but the movie would not be as emotional if they explained it. Spider verse plot holes are really well hidden that you would not notice them unless you were ether looking for them or someone points it out, for example miles reads a comic about how peter becomes spiderman but before he know peter was spiderman and Gwen somehow making it to school right after she got to the alternate universe makes no sense but it's still an amazing film and the plot holes can be ignored.
Completely agree with this list , only recently I’ve actually preferred Spider-Man 1 to Spider-Man 2 , it’s the nostalgia I get from 1 which is unmatchable, Spider-Man 2 is a better film tho
Between the love triangle, the Ursula subplot, Peter inexplicably losing his powers, Otto being mind controlled, and being asked to believe that a train full of New Yorkers wouldn’t share Peter’s identity with anyone, 2 just has so many more problems to me than 1 even though 2’s highs are higher.
I can see where you’re coming at. It was the beginning of the live action Spider-Man. So there are times Spider-Man 2002 will always be special in my heart.
Spider-Man No Way Home is my favorite one now. It found a great way of balancing humor band emotion in it. I cried, laughed and cheered in it. Story was so good. In all other movies, the villains were villains and Spider-Man was stopping them, but here, they only wanted to survive. They didn’t want to die and Spider-Man wasn’t wanting to defeat them, but cure them. My favorite part is the way Tom, Tobey and Andrew relate and differ from each other. This movie’s theme is about who Spider-Man is. This is a movie about Peter learning who he is.
Facts. He is really underrated and he stole the show (not just underrated as Spider-Man but also as an actor). He redeemed himself by saving MJ and it really made me feel for him. Hope they make a part 3 for him.
@@liamvoegt857 By "redeemed" you mean it gave him closure, right? Because he so did not need redemption, he got it at the end of TASM2. They did him a bit of justice by giving him more action scenes. Definitely my favorite portrayal of Spidey's character.
Spider-Man 2 is still the best. (Opinion) Here’s my reasoning. No Way Home was awesome. One of the most ambitious and beautifully written stories of all time. It lived up to the hype and was one of the most pleasing movies I’ve ever seen. I left with such a big smile. However, so many factors go into what makes a movie “the best”, or better than another. It told a unique and one of a kind story. Here’s why Spider-Man 2 is still better. No Way Home is the story of Peter Peter becoming Spider-Man by losing everything. While Spider-Man 2 is the story of Peter Parker becoming Spider-Man through losing everything. They are so so so close. I will admit that No Way Home has cooler moments and such a satisfying collection of story telling and new possibilities; but that’s not what makes it a better movie. Overall though, Spider-Man 2 is a better start to finish story. It’s the story that puts it in that #1 spot for me. My entire list has so many factors in place. So while No away Home may be the coolest Spider-Man movie of all time; it doesn’t make it the best. Spider-Man 2 9.5 Spider-Man No Way Home 9.4 I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts. Feel free to reply here!
My favorite spider man movie is no way home. I love the tobey and Andrew movies. I’ve watched all of them and I enjoyed Tobey’s more but my fav spider man is Andrew
I think your opinion makes sense and has a lot of reason but anyone who says that this movie is overrated is totally being harsh, the movie has some faults but every movie has flaws. I think Spider Man Into The Spider Verse is a little bit better (to me) but I like to hear people's opinions!
I just saw the movie a couple of hours ago and holy crap it was so good!! It was super emotional to me, I lost count at how many times I cried. Everyone went wild when Andrew and Tobey appeared. Thank you Sony and Marvel!!
@@ownergrey3752 its was confirmed long before spoilers they were part of it. We just didn’t know if it was a short appearance or if they were there as characters.
Spider-Man 2 train scene gives me chills each time I even think about how Tobey stops that train. Only spider man movie that comes close to that scene is No way home when all three Spider-Man’s are swinging together getting ready to fight the villains
I agree with your list. No Way Home is the best MCU movie I've watched since Infinity War. Seeing all the characters come together is just unbelievably fun, Aunt Mays death is heartbreaking, and the ending where Peter sees MJ and Ned is just bittersweet. It also puts into context the entire trilogy! I loved it..
Holland was always never on my list of the best Spider-Man. But after seeing all his new films and watching no way home, I feel the growth and maturity in him now. Now I can feel he is going to be a legendary Spider-Man like Andrew and Tobey.
11- Venom 10- Let There Be Carnage 9- TASM2 8- Spider-Man 3 7- FFH 6- TASM 5- Spider-Man 2 4- Homecoming 3- Spiderverse 2- NWH 1- Spiderman I like all of the top 5 equally though
I did agree with you more than I expected my personal list is as follows… (from best to worst) 1. No way home 2. Spider-Man 2 3. Spider-Man 4. Into the Spider-Verse 5. Far from Home 6. Amazing Spider-Man 7. Homecoming 8. Amazing Spider-Man 2 9. Spider-Man 3 10. Venom 11. Venom let there be Carnage
Awesome list man! I grew up with Spider-Man so I absolutely love all of these movies! He’s one of my favorite movie characters of all time!! This list could change any second but here’s what it is for now: 1. OG Spider-Man 2. Spider-Man 2 3. Spider-Man: No Way Home 4. Spider-Man: Into the Spider Verse 5. Spider-Man 3 6. Spider-Man: Homecoming 7. The Amazing Spider-Man 8. Spider-Man: Far from Home 9. The Amazing Spider-Man 2
This is my list, please don't judge lol 1. Spider-Man 2 (2004) 9.8/10 Amazing story and lessons learned by Peter to overcome his problems, Doc Ock and the train scene is a classic from the year 2004! Truly a masterpiece at its time and now. Casting was amazing as well, Molina is truly a legend. 2. Spider-Man (2002) 9.5/10 Great Introduction to Spider-Man with live action, Dafoe is a perfect cast for Goblin and portrays him beautifully. 3. Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) 9.25/10 Such a masterpiece, every bit of chaos fits perfectly and the story is great and nostalgic (I cried). 4. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) 8.5/10 What an amazing addition to the spider series as it was animated and summed the story pretty good. 5. Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) 8.3/10 These illusion scenes were so beautiful and Jake Gyllenhaal portrays Mysterio so well done. 6. The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) 7.5 This movie gets over looked and I somewhat admire what they were trying to do with it, but Andrew portrays Peter so beautifully and his love for Gwen is charming. 7. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) 7.3/10 This movie is very rushed and not written to expectations but I love the choreography and beautiful sequences with it, stays consistent with its original. 8. Spider-Man 3 (2007) 6.8/10 I don't mind this movie, I just feel like Raimi rushed Venom into it as he was pressured to add the villain after Sony forced him to, but the story and ending is beautiful. 9. Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) 6.5/10 This movie was too tech for me and I agree with that they were setting him up for No Way Home, but I feel like technology isn't supposed to teach Peter lessons.
Just got back from watching the movie, so this list might change, but my personal list: 1. No Way Home 2. Into the Spiderverse 3. Spiderman 2 4. Spiderman 5. Far From Home 6. Homecoming 7. Spiderman 3 8. Amazing Spiderman 9. Amazing Spiderman 2
1. Spider-Man: No Way Home 2. Spider-Man 2 3. Spider-Man 4. Spider-Man: Homecoming 5. Spider-Man: Far From Home 6.The Amazing Spider-Man 7. Spider-Man 3 8. The Amazing Spider-Man 2
Chris hits the mark again, as watching this and hearing your feed back. Not only do I agree with this but I personally consider this list my own list. Being a spider fan since 2002, with mixed emotions and opinions throughout since then. You really put it in perspective and hit every mark, which is why I completely agree with you, and LOVE this list. Our age is not far apart at all, so you relate to almost everything I do with the Spider-Man topic. Love the vids, and content, Best RUclipsr/Movie Analyst/ whatever other title you can think of to date!
Your reasoning behind your top pick is exactly what I feel. My favorite movie of all time is The Matrix. It's not even close to being a perfect movie, and I like a lot of other movies more than it. But The Matrix just has something about it that means so much to so many people including me. It was one of the first movies to genuinely make me question reality itself. It's so iconic and a lot of other movies have tried to be on the same type of philosophical level and just can't even match up to it.
I agree with most of your ranking. Especially with No1. It was one of the most dramatic movies I have ever seen! To save some strangers’ villain lives, Peter gives up: his family (May), his friends, his well-being (Stark tech, etc), his …everything! Just to save some lives… that’s a super-hero!
No way home just played my own life as a movie and I saw myself growing from a teenager to being a father and watching it with my son. Generations can relate their life moments with this movie.
@@Triple-A-A-A-3 It definitely did feel rushed, working with 5 villains is hard. I can't put this in my number 1 spot mainly because they didn't build a villain, just used a whole bunch of already established villains for nostalgia
1. Spider-man 2 2. No Way Home 3. Spider-man 1 4. Spider-Verse 5. Amazing Spidey 6. Far From Home 7. Spider-man 3 8. Homecoming 9. Amazing Spidey 2 10. Venom 11. Let there be carnage
9. Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) (i still like it, don't worry!) 8. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) 7. Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) (interchangeable with TASM depending on my mood) 6. The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) (interchangeable with FFH depending on my mood) 5. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) 4. Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) 3. Spider-Man (2002) 2. Spider-Man 2 (2004) 1. Spider-Man 3 (2007) (yes i know 1 and 2 are better and 3 is a bit of a mess in places, but i've always just loved 3 so much! especially now for how much of a meme the film is 😂😂)
My list 1&2: No Way Home & Spiderman 2 (tied) 3: Spiderman 4: Far from home 5: Spiderverse 6: Homecoming 7: Venom 2 8: Amazing Spiderman 9: Venom 10: Spiderman 3 11: Amazing Spiderman 2
Checking out your channel is a daily affair for me. Love the content! I think all your followers would agree, we appreciate all the time and effort you put into the channel. Keep it up!
I absolutely agree with you, Amazing Spider-Man IS underrated and Andrew Garfield is also my favorite Spider-Man there is just something about him and the chemistry with Gwen just works. Although the movies aren’t perfect they still hold a special place in my heart and in the end Spider-Man isn’t a person but an idea. I think all Spider-Men are “Amazing.”
@@isaiahgradillas8458 Your bias is good, no problem with that! Andrew was the best in NWH, with better scripts Andrew would shine much better as Spider-Man.
My current personal film ranking (If I can remember I will try to update after I watch NWH) 🤟 1. Spider-Man 2 (2004) - Possibly the overall best Spider-Man movie, not only does it do everything it sets out to do but it does so perfectly. And holy cow Doc Ock is one of the best villains of any Spider-Man film! It's just an all around freaking awesome movie and one of my favorite movies of all time! 2. Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) - A really freaking great movie that tries some ambitious different things and pulls it off really well. It tells a great story about Spidey learning to rely on/trust himself and trying to become his own hero all while trying to get out of Tony's looming shadow. Combining that with the fantastic villain Mysterio and my gosh is this film awesome! 3. Spider-Man: Into The Spider Verse (2018) - A really amazing film that perfectly tells a story that anyone can wear the mask, anyone can be Spider-Man. The visuals are breathtaking, the action is on point, and the emotional scenes hit in just the best way. I'll be honest, I didn't really care about Miles Morales before this movie, but now I really enjoy his character and can't wait to see what's next! 4. Spider-Man 1 (2002) - One of the best super hero origin films ever made. The first true live action Spider-Man we got and it was freaking amazing! A bit cheesy at times but I think it definitely works in it's favor. Also my gosh Willem Defoe's Green Goblin is superb! 5. Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) - A fun Spidey movie that doesn't really do anything wrong but doesn't really do anything mind blowing either. It's a steady well made film that does progressively get better as it goes leading to a sick final battle against Michael Keaton's fantastic Vulture! 6. The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) - A nice unique take on Spidey in what I consider a really well made movie. Does it have it's flaws, of course, but it does manage to do enough great things that it makes it a very enjoyable watch. Andrew deserved better then what came after this one, this franchise could have been something really special. 7. Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021) - A fun movie that definitely had a better overall structure and villain than the first Venom. Like the first one I don't have real problem with this movie but I did have more fun watching this one and I'm intrigued to see what's next. 8. Spider-Man 3 (2007) - A infamous movie that's for sure. It definitely has it's problems (thanks Sony), but if it hadn't been for Sam Raimi it could have ended up way worse. While not a great movie by any means, It does have some great scenes and I've come to see it as a fairly decent finale for the Raimi Trilogy. 9. Venom (2018) - A dumb fun little movie. It was initially kind of strange having Venom exist without Spider-Man but Sony managed to pull it off in a decent way. I don't really have any problem with this movie but it's not really anything special either. 10. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) - A movie that tried to do some ambitious things and failed big time (Thanks again Sony). While it does have some stunning visuals, a fantastic soundtrack, awesome fight scenes, and a gorgeous Spidey suit, the story and concept are utterly broken. However in spite of It's flaws I still enjoy this movie just because it can be a fun watch. TBD. Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) - Haven't seen it yet as I'm waiting to be able to watch it with some friends, please don't spoil anything. 🙏
Man you keep my Spider-hype going! Thank you! This is a tough ranking to write down but... here we go: 1. Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse - captures the essence of the character, beautiful, emotional, masterpiece of an animation, music, etc. etc.... I just really love it and to me it's kinda flawless :D 2. Spider-Man: No Way Home - man... I am so happy... so goddamn happy after seeing this movie. Can't just put it to words. 3. Spider-Man 2 - how difficult is it to be a hero? That's a question. This movie is the answer. Also many many iconic scenes and that phenomenal train scene. Good. Stuff. 4. Spider-Man - Willem Dafoe man. He knocks it out of the park in this one. Other than that, many iconic moments and lines, Green Goblin toying with Peter / SM is just great. 5. The Amazing Spider-Man - Andrew is just great in this role, probably my favourite (I dig the suit!). I love the romance between Peter and Gwen and I also appreciate how Peter really becomes Spider-Man after saving that kid in the car. A little moment. A quiet moment. It is not the new suit that makes him a hero. It is his actions. It is taking the responsibility. Saving lives. I love that. 6. Spider-Man: Far From Home - I liked the idea of Spider-Man travelling somewhere else than NYC, Mysterio and his action scenes, and consequences of all these events - very good stuff. 7. Spider-Man 3 - I like continuation of the themes from previous films, I also liked how the anger in Peter just boiled out of him when he had the black suit. It is still messy though. 8. Spider-Man: Homecoming - I like this movie but it just kinda lacked the consequences for me... I know there are major consequences in No Way Home but it still bothers me a little. 9. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - I think the marketing kinda killed the movie for me - basically knew everything before watching it. It is very messy and the villains could have been done much better. 10. Venom - it's just stupid fun. I would much preffer a horror movie though... 11. Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage - too much of a mess to be honest... Didn't really like what they did with Carnage and with the Venom/Eddie relationship.
Our lists are almost identical! Both Amazing Spider-Man films are so underrated (still salty we didn't get a third one) and Garfield is a great Peter Parker! All 3 Spider-Man actors have honestly done such a good job and I'm excited about what the future holds for the films
Love the ranking!! Not quite the same as mine but pretty similar. Then only things that I would change is I would put the rest of the mcu movies a bit higher and have hoco over ffh but yes Spider-Man no way home is the best Spider-Man movie w such great character development
Also loved it and its in my top 3. But without tobey and andrew universe, it wouldn't exist. It was just a nostalgic film for fans of tobey and andrew. Although it was great for Tom's spidey too and his development. But still I don't think it tops raimi's 1 and 2
@@nesstealer17 personally I disagree. I actually think this movie could've stood really well even without Tobey and Andrew. We didn't even get them till near the end of the movie. I think the way Tom deals with the world finding out, the loss he'd go through, I still think it would've just been spectacular. All puns intended
@@sonicthehedgehog1109 I'm not just talking of Tobey and Andrew's appearance. Green goblin was prob main villain, and he killed aunt may, but he came from tobey verse. Even without them, it's still a part of a 3 movie arc for Peter to become spiderman we all know. I still believe spiderman 2 is a better movie, and spiderman 1 started everything and it's an amazing origin. So my point still stands. Also I'm not saying movie was gonna be bad, I would have love it anyways because unlike the majority I actually liked Tom's spiderman from the start
@@nesstealer17 if you say it’s only good because of the movies before and that brings it down you would have to say that about infinity war or endgame. Spider-Man 2 is a great great personal film but this film was on another scale and personal to Peter and developed his character beyond belief

Honestly I love Spider-Man NWH, and it’s not perfect but it’s close. Even though people might consider it *fan service*, I think it just delivers in almost every scene. As well as being a Tom Holland movie, it kind of manages to bring the other Spider-Mens’ arcs full circle and for that, I’m glad to consider it number 1 on my list.
This is my favorite Spider-Man movie now and I feel live it did almost everything I wanted! As a person born in 2007 I can say my top 3 is 3.Spider-Man(because it has a good origin story and has one the most iconic line in all of movie history) 2.No way home(Mostly because it showed the struggle of being Spider-Man and showed the massive potential of the TASM series had and for the most part that potential was shown 1.Spider-Man 2(because it showed the struggle of being Peter and Spider-Man for example money problems, failing classes, losing his powers and a terrible relationship with his best friend and the girl he loves)
I agree with your top 3 placings. I'm also going back and forth on Spider-man 2 and No Way Home as to which is my favorite of all time. I think technically and emotionally, Spider-man 2 is the better film, but from a fan satisfaction perspective, No Way Home can't be beat. It's a tough call.

This is the best list I’ve seen I have the same rankings except I separated Into the Spider-Verse from the Rest I believe The Amazing Spider-Man is criminally underrated it’s the most comic accurate we’ve got of Peter Parker/Spider-Man on the big screen. Don’t let those that say “Andrew was too cool for Peter Parker” fool you because he was literally like that in the comics, once he got his powers. I speak for many when I Say Andrew is the closest we have gotten to the character that Stan Lee & Steve Ditko created in the 60s and it looks like Tom maybe can become that.

I personally thought that Tom’s movies were the best of the bunch. You could see what they were doing all the way back in Civil War, and to see it pay off in No Way Home was an absolute treat. Andrew is my second favorite of the Spider-Men, Tobey being the third.

I might personally not understand the intense love for Spiderman 2 (used to love it, but the more i watch it now, it bothers me he spends most of the movie crying and not being Spiderman) or how anyone can enjoy Venom, let alone tolerate it (i barely finished it in three sittings and i adore Hardy).

Spider-Man 2002, 2004, Into The Spiderverse, and now No Way Home are now my favorite Spider-Man films. What a week has been 🙏🙏🙏
I agree 100% i love the idea of what they wanted to do for amazing Spider-Man, not making him “spiderman” until the bridge scene (when he actually becomes the hero, and calls himself spiderman) but the execution wasnt there.

Spider-Man No way home Far from home and homecoming are the best
as a person not clouded by nostalgia, as ive only learned to love all these movies in the past few years ( since i hadnt watched them before then ) i undoubtably think into the spiderverse is the perfect film as it masters each aspect of a fulfilling movie perfectly and has no flaws or potholes, with the best visuals of any spiderman or likely any animated film.
There r plot holes go watch discussions on it
Completely agree with this list , only recently I’ve actually preferred Spider-Man 1 to Spider-Man 2 , it’s the nostalgia I get from 1 which is unmatchable, Spider-Man 2 is a better film tho
spider-man 2 is better but weirdly enough id rather watch 1 more than 2 because of the nostalgia
The 1st one is just more fun and has great mix of that cheesy colorful comic book feel, and true emotional scenes
@@Volvagia0slayer gonna have to disagree with you there , those are all great parts of the film , the story worked better with them in my opinion
Balanced? Hell no. This movie was BOMBARDED with unnecessary jokes. They were distracting 🤦🏻

@@HatsCaliber yeah pretty much what you said
The hole crowd clapped when he did that.
Spider-Man 2 9.5
Spider-Man No Way Home 9.4

My current personal film ranking (If I can remember I will try to update after I watch NWH) 🤟
Where would you rank No Way Home
Agreed especially on homecoming
Content never disappoints thank you
Man you keep my Spider-hype going! Thank you!
This is a tough ranking to write down but... here we go:
1. Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse - captures the essence of the character, beautiful, emotional, masterpiece of an animation, music, etc. etc.... I just really love it and to me it's kinda flawless :D
The scene were they were all swinging together gave me chills
Don’t say spoilers came out yesterday not every one has seen it

BIG CHILLS!!!
But still I don't think it tops raimi's 1 and 2
The first 2 mcu ones were too kiddie and soft. At least up to the point where Mysterio dies.

It's okay, the only reason why is because it was the first major thing that got me into Spiderman as a kid, I was about 9 in 2014 and I remember watching it in theaters, now it wasn't the first thing that got me into Spiderman, only the first major thing.
Agreed, it's fan service but it beautifully written well worked-in fan service
I just can’t stand the scripts and directing in MCU movies. Everything else I loved
No way, ur list is the exact list I made dude! I respect it👊
This is my favorite Spider-Man movie now and I feel live it did almost everything I wanted! The only thing I REALLY wanted to see was how in the post credit scene of Venom I loved the sound and graphics of the multiverse. 3.Spider-Man(because it has a good origin story and has one the most iconic line in all of movie history)
2.No way home(Mostly because it showed the struggle of being Spider-Man and showed the massive potential of the TASM series had and for the most part that potential was shown
1.Spider-Man 2(because it showed the struggle of being Peter and Spider-Man for example money problems, failing classes, losing his powers and a terrible relationship with his best friend and the girl he loves)
