For me, one reason why The Batman is better than The Dark Knight is that the dark knight is mostly good because of joker. Joker stole the show in that film. In The Batman, batman is the character that has the spotlight. If you combined Heath’s joker with Battinson, you’d probably have the greatest Batman film ever

am I the only one that agrees with Chris that Ben Affleck is exactly like the batman from the comic books. He is perfect. he looks just like the batman in the killing joke
@@3CFilms he kinda did tho. It could have been shown better but so much of Bruce's dialogue with Alfred alludes to how much he has lost over the course of 20 years, how much the city has beaten him down, how many friends he has lost, and how his adopted son was brutally murdered by a maniac who's obsessed with him. At least he had a bit of reason as to why his Batman has fallen from grace and has become a killer, whereas Batmen like Keaton and Bale (who I still love) just killed people with no reason as to why. It especially irritated me in the Dark Knight Trilogy when are are a few scenes where Batman refuses to kill someone because its against his moral code, then proceeds to kill tonnes of people throughout the trilogy
@@3CFilms yeah I also agree they kinda just made him kill for the sake of killing, batman killing people should be a huge deal so he should have give him a reason to kill

*There's never really been a bad Batman suit, just bad Batman movies. The suit is a reflection of the movie's art direction, so even if the movie is bad, it can still look pretty cool by itself.*
@@ronzilla3296 Bale's batsuit is the slickest and most appropriate depiction. Batman is not gonna be a hard opponent when he is wearing a heavy and bulky suit of armor. That's why Ben Afleck's suite looks so hideous imo.
@@stonedfinn3649 But like at the end of day even when pattinson is wearing armor he's still much more agile and quick in the suit compared to bale, he wears a constricted rubber suit which he himself has said he hated, it explains why bale moves so slow when fighting i guess, pattinson is actually the only batman actor to like the feel of the suit on
Great video! Here's my ranking for the live action Gothams: 5. Nolan 4. Schumacher 3. Snyder 2. Burton 1. Reeves While I love The Dark Knight, I do admit that Gotham was just a normal city there. On the other hand, Reeves' The Batman was the perfect blend of gothic, grand architecture and neon-soaked modern style. It looks the most like the Arkham game Gotham and I think it's dang perfect.
For me personally, The Batman takes the number 1 spot in every single one of these categories. I truly mean that. It feels like Matt Reeves crawled inside my head, and made a Batman movie for just me. I know a lot of people feel the same way. The suit. The Batmobile. Gotham. The detective. The fighting. Literally EVERYTHING!! I genuinely couldn't be happier with what Matt Reeves has accomplished. Still blown away, even after seeing it 3 times lol
I feel the same! As a comic fan The Batman is the most accurate one so far taking in consideration his inspirations (the long Halloween and Batman year one even some of the animated series). A true masterpiece!
I was with you until you ranked Bruce Wayne's. I LOVED the depressed Robert Pattison persona! Loved. And to be honest, I HATED the idea of him being Batman. I was shocked, shocked! That I liked it so much!!
I think the Bat Tumbler is the best and most badass Batmobile because even people who aren’t that familiar with Batman can recognize it. Also, the tank part is just soooo sweet.
The batson suit definitely took a while to grow on me. When we first saw it were it didn't show the ears it looked alright. Then when the set phones came out we're we first saw the ears and he had the bubble eyes it looked bad but by the time the trailer came out I loved it
I felt like Pattinson's and Keaton's Bruce Waynes were very similar. Both of them essentially were Batman full time. Keaton's sometimes tried to be a billionaire socialite but he was so consumed by his Batman duties that people hardly or ever got to see Bruce Wayne in public. Both have very antisocial traits and they found more comfort in being hidden in the shadows or attending to their Batman duties. You can see and feel Pattinson's pain and anger through every inch of his existence whereas Keaton's looked calm however his anger and pain were only viewable in his eyes (one of the main reasons Burton wanted Keaton as Batman was because of his eyes).
Thanks for all of the great Batman content the last few day's man! I used to only be a Marvel fan, but now I feel more open to DC now! Thanks man, your the best Batman!
I know this video isn’t as recent but I really love the style that you did with this. For me The Batman is one of my favorite superhero films and it did not disappoint at all.
My 5 favorite Batman movie villains: 1. Heath Ledger’s Joker 2. Paul Dano’s Riddler 3. Two-Face (The Dark Knight) 4. Colin Farrell’s Penguin 5. Tom Hardy’s Bane
Awesome video man but you gotta edit that villain list with Nicholson Joker in there. Can't believe you missed him like wow. Otherwise bravo you earned a sub
The Batman it has to go to Robert Pattinson. Everything that’s involved in it is just amazing and pulled off by Matt Reeves so well.penguin is such an amazing villain and he’s kind of off from Danny DeVito they’re both Amazing penguins but in their own separate ways. The Batmobile is so hard-core and it makes me just want to re-create that vehicle. The bat suit is so lethal and so violent and clean. It’s amazing seeing all that on the big screen.
@@da-vidcargill4975 maybe but he had intelligence that ben Affleck Batman lacked. In comics and animated series they has clearly showed how Batman analysis everything very thoroughly. But batfleck didn't even checked whether he was manipulated by Lex Luthor or not. He straight set his mind to kill Superman even before properly analyzing the situation, which is a major let down when it comes his Batman. The writing for that sequence was very bad. But, I still love Batfleck, but doesn't means I can let go the fault of the Batman who had 20 years of experience as Batman. If they had properly handled that situation it would be totally different. But batfleck still rules when it comes to fighting, but Batman is more than brawn. He has very great intelligence we hardly see in I live action. Even bale lacked that intelligence of Batman. But, Pattinson showed us that The Batman is a detective foremost. Hell Batman debuted in detective comics first. So, this movie really paid the respect to that aspect of batman. Fights are interesting and good, but can be improved on in future and might one day match Ben Affleck.
Honestly Penguin feels like the only Batman villain (that has been portrayed by more than 1 actor) that has always been excellent. Burgess Meredith defined the character for 20 years and was a perfect adaption of the character from the Silver Age of comics. Danny DeVito was a phenomenal reimagining of the Penguin that fit so well within the world that Batman Returns was set it. He was so well written and so layered and DeVito created one of the greatest and most iconic comic book movie villains ever. Robin Lord Taylor did a great young Oswald, aside from Cameron Monaghan he was the best part of the Gotham show. And finally Colin Farrell has, in my opinion, redefined the Penguin for a modern audience. His look, his mannerisms, his voice, it was all amazing. The Penguin really is one of Batmans most iconic and timeless villains
Hey Chris, I will say, YOU FORGOT JACK NICHOLASON AS JOKER! I was really disappointed that you forgot my favorite joker! Please in a another video establish that. Still love you as a youtuber!
I never took any batmen seriously until I saw Batfleck. Batfleck's Bruce Wayne persona has that unshakable confident rich guy suaveness. Batfleck's portrayal of batman suited just the way Zack wanted his Batman to be. Scarred, old and mad. And his BvS suit and Nightmare suit design will always be the best Batman suit. We can see Batfleck's character development through BvS to JL and that made me love Batfleck more.
For me I'd give the top two for everything Batsuit: Affleck and Pattinson Batmobile: Affleck and Pattinson Bruce Wayne: Affleck and Kilmer Batman: Pattinson and Affleck As for the Affleck suit and padding, the suit looked absolutely INCREDIBLE in the screen tests, but Affleck kept working out and got bigger when the suit was already made which made the padding look bubbly. Can't knock the suit, just that one mistake Ben made makes it LOOK a bit off in the finished film. As a huge Affleck fan though, I think we need to take note that Richard Cetrone and his stuntwork took excellent work from Ben acting-wise and elevated it to Legend status with the incredible combat.
Christian Bale is still my favorite Bruce Wayne and his theme is amazing, but Batfleck's suit in BvS is too good. This new Batman movie was phenomenal and everything about it was badass and looked amazing. Pattinson is now my favorite Batman with Batfleck, but idk who is the best between these two 🧐
*The suits and the Batmobile from the new movie are my favorites already, this new Batman suit actually looks comfortable and it doesn't have too much plating all over it which annoys me with other suits, I love how the Batmobile is just a normal muscle car with metal plates on it just like those bomber cars that they use in real wars, I love how the less realistic thing is the jet engine but it's not too exaggerated, IT'S AWESOME, and I love how The Riddler looks like The Zodiac Killer which really fits him. These new designs show that the suits don't have to be super chonky and militarized or that the Batmobile doesn't have to be a literal tank to be cool. These are my favorite designs so far.*
Pattinsons Batman is my favorite Batman now. The movie is my favorite also. Please don’t come after my parents because I said that, or I’ll come after you...🦇
Currently I am loving Pattinson’s suit suit to be a dope practical suit of protection for him to kick butt as a speed agility street fighting martial artist, who is also a detective. And Pattinson’s batmobile is my current Favorite to be the most badass terrifying vehicle of fear. For the past batman, my top 2 favorite suits is definitely Ben affleck’s dope tactical suit from justice league ( which probably is the inspiration for Pattinson’s suit) and Christian bale’s dark knight suit. And my favorite past batmobile is Val kilmer’s batmobile since it does look like a futuristic style ride and got some tech gadgets . Officially the Batman is my favorite Batman movie ever.
I think it would be cool if you did these type of rankings for other superhero’s like Spider-man or Superman where you rank different things from the movies (like the suit, the personality, the villains, etc)
I really enjoy how bulky and intimidating Pattinson’s suit looks, he looks strong and unmovable, but not big in the way Afleck is so it’s misconstrued as chub. My only gripe is his cowl looks a little too big for his head, kinda like Megamind at times. Otherwise it just seems more practical and maneuverable than a lot of the others imo
Don't you mean Bales cowl? That dome looked huge especially with the skinny neck. I mean seriously, bales face looked really small inside that giant motorcycle helmet.
It’s not practical having armor plates when Batman is all abt stealth and agility. Batflecks suit is the best imo, it isn’t perfect, it could use changes like diff emblem and less padding.
@@skillzjr3152 its ironic you say that since pattinson was extremely agile and is one of the only batman actors who actually like wearing the suit, bale and affleck both hated wearing the suits cause of restriction and uncomfortability except for the armored batman
Bat mobile- Affleck Suit - bale Movie - the Batman 2022 I wished they explored barfleck allot more ... however reevesverse Im 100% invested in and by far my favourite Batman movie
I like Ben Affleck's Batman the best in all categories. It's sad he's leaving and I hope he comes back. I haven't seen The Batman yet, but Pattinson might be my second.
I almost agree with You. Only in Two aspects I differ from your opinnión: I put Val Kilmer 's first batsuit over Affleck 's, and Tommy Lee's Two faces is on the bottom of villains For me. Great ranking, and I would like to SEE a video about the evolution and abilities of Batman 's aircrafts.

I seriously feel like Robert Pattinsons Batman is the best Batman easily and the most Batman Batman we’ve gotten He’s exactly what I expect a real life very young Batman would be Vengeful, hateful, angry, anti social, a depressive loner and he’s also the smartest Batman that we have seen he actually does all of the detective work and we see it all And he’s actually fucking terrifying, a true symbol of fear like I felt the fear in criminals when they looked at a dark alleyway that no one else has made me feel His Bruce Wayne will obviously become the normal one we expect since he came very close to being caught and I’m sure others might be catching onto him or suspicious
Batfleck! Is my favorite Batman. But I’m really excited to see where The Batman movie is going to go. I loved Robert’s Batman. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts
I know that but it doesn’t change the fact it’s still in the movie, just like Sam Raimi was forced to include venom in Spider Man 3, it still hurts the film🤷🏻♂️
Yeah instead they could have showed us that Luther was tracking sightings of steppenwolf and his parademons in space and it causes Batman to find the justice league

Agree accept i would put The Batman's first with Burton's a close second. From the second that jet engine starts up and the fires are going, the Batmobile in The Batman is its own character and a horror movie creature.

am I the only one that agrees with Chris that Ben Affleck is exactly like the batman from the comic books. He is perfect. he looks just like the batman in the killing joke
I just wish he had the moral code is all
@@3CFilms at least they gave a reasonable reason why he did it
@@3CFilms he kinda did tho.
Well, not all the comic books to be honest but heavily inspired from the dark knight returns.

I think bales is pretty bad
@@sofa1155 i totally agree with you. I hated bales batsuit especially the cowl (and that is the most important part of the suit)
Here's my ranking for the live action Gothams:
5. Nolan
4. Schumacher
3. Snyder
2. Burton
1. Reeves
While I love The Dark Knight, I do admit that Gotham was just a normal city there.

I was with you until you ranked Bruce Wayne's. I LOVED the depressed Robert Pattison persona! Loved. And to be honest, I HATED the idea of him being Batman. I was shocked, shocked! That I liked it so much!!
An Arkham Asylum maze! If there's a spin-off about that prison, Halloween Horror Nights has to make this idea to celebrate The Batman!
I think the Bat Tumbler is the best and most badass Batmobile because even people who aren’t that familiar with Batman can recognize it. Also, the tank part is just soooo sweet.
The Batman is so good, especially the batmobile!!!
i cant lie i was waiting to see where you would rank gotham from the Joker movie haha
The batson suit definitely took a while to grow on me. When we first saw it were it didn't show the ears it looked alright. Then when the set phones came out we're we first saw the ears and he had the bubble eyes it looked bad but by the time the trailer came out I loved it
I have a feeling it looks good cuz most of the movie is at night .
My fav bat suit is the Batman Begins, the car is The Batman’s muscle car, fav villain is the health ledger joker,
Great video! I just saw The Batman today and I liked it!

It’s amazing seeing all that on the big screen.
no batfleck was robbed, pattison dont even fight like batman

Hey Chris tell me any regular sized funko pop and I’ll buy it cus I’m looking to improve my collection, thanks
For me I'd give the top two for everything
Batsuit:
Affleck and Pattinson
Batmobile:
Affleck and Pattinson
Bruce Wayne:
Affleck and Kilmer
Batman:
Pattinson and Affleck
As for the Affleck suit and padding, the suit looked absolutely INCREDIBLE in the screen tests, but Affleck kept working out and got bigger when the suit was already made which made the padding look bubbly.
Pattinson is now my favorite Batman with Batfleck, but idk who is the best between these two 🧐
Batfleck is the best. I'm still salty we never got a solo movie with him lol. Batman vs Deathstroke would have been phenomenal
This was good liked how you did the ranking from the villains to the batmobile
HE MISSED THE ADAM WEST MOVIE
Pattinsons Batman is my favorite Batman now. The movie is my favorite also. Please don’t come after my parents because I said that, or I’ll come after you...🦇
Pattinson’s bat suit has got to be my favorite. I love how the symbol actually has use for investigating crime scenes or can be used as a knife.
I'd love to see what we can get from the Batman as it evolves in the future!
22:03 “Okay, now next up” 😂
I hope to see scarecrow in The Batman 2 I feel like he’d work so well with what mat has done with this iteration of batman and gotham
And if we see him, they better cast Cillian Murphy again…
He would be freaking terrifying because look what they did with goofy riddler and he is already a nightmare
@@Duvk99 the riddler in the new movie did some crazy shit, but he looked like a basement dwelling nerd, totally threw me off.
The most accurate ranking. I agree 100%!!
The cowl problem could be solved by making the ears larger
Don't you mean Bales cowl? That dome looked huge especially with the skinny neck. I mean seriously, bales face looked really small inside that giant motorcycle helmet.
Well pattinson’s mask was like that purposely because he has armor in the front
It’s not practical having armor plates when Batman is all abt stealth and agility. Batflecks suit is the best imo, it isn’t perfect, it could use changes like diff emblem and less padding.
@@skillzjr3152 its ironic you say that since pattinson was extremely agile and is one of the only batman actors who actually like wearing the suit, bale and affleck both hated wearing the suits cause of restriction and uncomfortability except for the armored batman

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!👍👌
Matt Reeves is the type of dude to cast Arnold Schwarznegger as Mr. Freeze, Get a lot of criticism, and still pull him off perfect.
I seriously feel like Robert Pattinsons Batman is the best Batman easily and the most Batman Batman we’ve gotten
He’s exactly what I expect a real life very young Batman would be
Vengeful, hateful, angry, anti social, a depressive loner and he’s also the smartest Batman that we have seen he actually does all of the detective work and we see it all
And he’s actually fucking terrifying, a true symbol of fear like I felt the fear in criminals when they looked at a dark alleyway that no one else has made me feel
His Bruce Wayne will obviously become the normal one we expect since he came very close to being caught and I’m sure others might be catching onto him or suspicious
Honestly my favorite Batman had to be robert pattinson’s simply because he makes mistakes he takes hits and you can tell he’s a Norma human 🦇
Yes but he has no sense of stealth. His Batman is just a military guy in a cool suit.
@@cydra_infinity1423 he has he just loves to inrimidate criminals by his presence

Yea but he still could have done a better job .
