This channel was the first place I saw this deck discussed when I got into tarot in 2017, and it was one of the first decks I bought even though the art work didn't call to me because of how highly regarded the book was everywhere. I don't yet use it a lot, but I respect it a lot. I love how Ian Daniels writes. I'm learning Thoth this year, and I'm looking forward to using this deck more.

Thank you for doing these videos. My husband got the deck for me last month and I love it!!!! It's one of my favorites along with Vargo's gothic tarot. I store them both together. If you wouldnt mind I would love if you would go over the lord's, queens, princes and daughters for us. Ian Daniel's says something about an idea going from the lord's all the way to the daughters which is kind of confusing for me. It seems kind of backwards compared to what i learned about the court cards. I would love clarification on that if that would be ok. Anyway, thank you so much for all you do;)

I’ve been binge watching your channel for the past year or so. With your love for esoteric symbolism have you spent any time with the Thoth system? I am not particularly drawn to the art in the cards but that book is just… I can’t wait to get my hands on it. I love that he speaks to more than just the RWS system and speaks to the esoteric symbolism in depth. But, I also wasn’t sure about dark wood imagery and I bought it on prime while drunk on red wine one night based on your review and I have never felt such a strong pull lol. So likely I might have a lovely surprise with the cards. Either way, can’t wait for the book.
Can you tell me what Ian Daniels means under the "The Portrait" section? Like, when he states our personal Vampyre name while "playing with the cards"; is that for RPG or do we get into our alter persona while working with the cards to better understand ourselves? Thank you!
