I bought this deck recently and have to say I am so pleasantly surprised by both the guide book and cards. I can see why this is your No 1 deck Raecene and why you say even if we do not take to the deck, the guide book is an absolute must have - thank you for recommending it and for this TOV series.
I’ve never been excited to work with this deck, but it sounds like Ian has a good take on not only the RWS but also the Thoth system and this is how I feel about RWS vs Thoth. Thoth expresses the base energy through esoteric symbolism and RWS portrays a scene that is a potential outcome of this energy. I’m now, so excited to go through his book :)

I just received my copy this week. When I opened the case and took out the book and the cards, Wow I could feel the connection right away. These cards will keep me going on my spiritual path that I have been on for years now. Thank you so much for all your in depth information on the deck . I would love to hear what you think about the Hush Tarot in the future.
Loving this series. This deck gives me really potent shadow readings, so I've typically saved it for that or for autumn use, but I'm eager to use it for a while on a daily basis again. When I work with these cards, I usually type out Ian's words as a way to absorb them better (and to copy-paste later into my typed journals), so it takes a while, but it's been worth it. Thanks for championing this deck so thoughtfully and eloquently, which is not easy to do!

I ordered the deck yesterday and I'm so excited. I have several decks, but this is the first time I have the feeling of butterfly in my stomach for a deck. Not only because of this awesome series you do, but I already feel a huge connection (weird as I can't put my hands on it yet ☺️). But I really have a good feeling for this deck, that I will recieve a great relationship with it cause I'm ready to work with it 💕

It's not my style but I find myself so drawn to this deck and the depth the guidebook seems to go into really seems to take you right into the deeper waters, which is exactly what I am looking for!
I had this deck 3 or 4 years ago ended up passing it along. I have thought about repurchasing it. Also please do a review on the Monchild Tarot, I am not connecting with it the way I thought I would either. How do you connect with it?
I appreciate your advice on shadow work. However, I am not too much into vampires and would love to try shadow work with another deck. Can you recommend anything else? Have you worked with the dark wood tarot that is also supposed to be good for shadow work? Thank you very much.
@@owlmoon513 Your style is absolutely captivating.. Me and my husband think so.. ha ha! I'm just a tad bit older than u Owl Moon... So I'm all about that alternative 90"s, so often refered to as "Grunge " .. Though I did see type O in a alley in Shreveport, La. In 2001... I recccomend " "Dax Riggs" as far as music goes.. I have T. O .v. " the cards got left at the lake on a trip.. It's better off though... The deck moved me in a self indulgent way, that was not healthy. I've recently been drawing from the " Angelarium" , and trying to connect with the "dark days "Tarot. Ive ordered 'Tarot of the night " I'm a year into my studies of the Tarot, and escaping Christian Dogma has been trailing me my whole life.. You are a Big inspiration to me, I love your channel , and I think you are absolutely Beautiful.. Growing up I was always labeled as a " Devil worshiper" or a " Beast " ... Now that's Trending I suppose .. Go figure.. Continued success on your endeavors.. U make a difference!!!

I'm more familiar with rws and I'm vaguely familiar with Thoth. Do you feel it's possible to stick to rws with this deck or is it really it's own system entirely?
You know how they don't have the sense of humor about this stuff in Saudi Arabia?? They don't. I'm a huge fan of Sharia. Personal taste. Talk to people :))

Love the advice of not “going big.” I stick to 3-5 card spreads and think that is quite enough info.

Very interesting I've had the deck for a few years but didn't like the bland model bored faces but yes the book is good
