First time visiting your channel and I commend you for a great explanation !! Great summation of NVMe vs SATA etc...if you don't mind may I throw in a teeny bit of advice from an almost 76 year old...please slow down just a wee bit and you really don't have to exaggerate your hand gestures or have any hand gestures at all, it's a bit distracting. In summary...BRAVO !!! BRAVISIMO !!

I feel like the term interface is an awful name for what these are. People need to consult linguists when making sh*t because all the descriptions I've found of NVME are linguistically meaningless.
Like NVME is more like the Syntax of how storage on SSD chips works. Interface infers something to adapt two things together and while it does do that, it also inherently sets forth semantics of how the disk needs to be organized, which is the most important connection in what NVME or Sata or etc are, an interface AND inherently semantics for how drives have to be organized to meet those semantics. It's like calling something a filing cabinet but the word you used for the filing cabinet gives no indication that it's actually drawers with liners for putting kitchenware in, a filing cabinet is inherently something that's for filing so it's laid out by the semantics for filing cabinets.
When people use wrong words for describing things, it harms everyone learning it and also makes large amounts of information difficult to grasp since the handles we use (words) to describe it make it less intuitive.
Higher level programming was forced to realize this and developped python.
But in my experience high learning and now low level system development are both missing semantical accuracy in their respective fields.

      Hello 👋
Thank you for your insightful comment! We appreciate your perspective on the terminology used to describe NVMe and its functionalities. It’s true that clear and accurate language is crucial for effective learning and understanding, especially in technical fields.
NVMe indeed functions as both an interface and a protocol, setting the standards for how data is transferred and managed. We strive to make our explanations as clear and accurate as possible, and feedback like yours helps us improve.
Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts!
