Your hair is beautiful! I'm not a professional but I have had my locs for a year and I think what your showing is a normal part of the maturing process. I had that happen to many of my locs and they smoothed out and compressed on their own over time.
@@pamelafelton776 no let it be the frizz is a sign that they are about to fluff up or swell as some like to say as long as you don't have any gaps you are fine. Personally I'm lazy with my loc's I only do a retie every 4 months I don't follow any of the rules except for no products and the 2 pt. rotation I use I only had 5 bunch up ( I left them alone and they fluffed up beautifully) I had to do 2 reattachments and get lots of gaps which are an easy fix. Just make sure your scalp is clean, loc's moisturized and no loc migration and do an ACV detox ( I do mine monthly because I live in New York and the air pollution is crazy

I think another reason for this happening is just hair texture. Our hair looks similar. I thought I could live with them looking like that but it kept bugging me..I use the 0.5 hook I have Sisterlocks. I fix them as I see them so I probably have done around 25 so far. They do look much better afterwards so I will keep doing it.

@@sammagny6548 hi, I was wondering how do you moisturize your locs? TIA

@@sammagny6548 Thank you. How often do you use it?
I have tried this on some of locs. Wasn't sure if the bumps/lumps would go away or not, but I see from the other comments that it does.
Yes, I’m sure that is correct. I guess I’ll just be rushing it along lol
Your hair is soo beautiful
Gorgeous locs !!!
I’m going thru the same thing currently. So thankful I came across your video! 💜

I was going to say that too, I have a very similar hair texture to her I’m 3 months in and I have bunching where I have looser texture
@@rebeccarambo2893 no it done properly it doesn’t ruin them. However I didn’t do it until after my loc were more mature like at 2.5/3 year mark
What if you don’t have that tool?
