I had them installed July 2019.... I started retightening them myself during covid 2020 sometime. I can't recall the exact date but I would say after my 1 year mark or prior
Awww I'm sorry. I am just moving the loc between my thumb and fingers from root to end with the tool. The point of this crochet tool is to help grab the fly away hairs, tighten your locs and make them look more symmetrical
I'm soooo grateful to you for sharing this with us
Awww you're welcome.
It was wayyy overdue.
Your hair look so nice
@@laquannatimothy9512 Thank you. I wasn't in love with it here yet, but trusting the process 😊💕
I just appreciate your honesty
Thank you!
I honestly still use these tools. They are a staple product for locs!!! 😊💕
Skillzzzzz looks great girl
Thank you lol 💖💕
Here watching
I really respect that. Thank you!
Hi can this method be done loc extensions?
Hi,
Now I am not a loctician, but I can't see why not, basically it's suppose to be pulling the spear hair into the loc. Please try and let me know.
Did you install your sister locks? If not when did you start retighten them yourself?

What is the tool called?
They are "Dreadlock Crochet Needle!". . . Usually found in a Brauty Supply Store. They come in either 1 needle, 2 or 3.
Gratitude
😊💖
Where did you buy the tool?
At any hair store here in Canada. BSW (Beauty Supply Warehouse) is where I would normally grab stuff.
I thought that tool was meant to go through the lock. I've probably been doing it all wrong
It does go through the loc
Basically it's taken the loose hair and knotting them in the loc.... by sliding in and out.
I don’t see what you are doing
