everything was being taxed, for a salaried person we are being deducted as income tax and post I am owning a taxed amount but while spending the same taxed amount for buying any product GST(again being taxed), in this way the same salaried person was being penalized for working and earning. I completely agree in paying tax to the government but paying 2 times tax for the very same money which I receive only one time on month starting is questionable one. as salaried person i have this doubt on my mind for long time.

The Northeastern states and Kashmir don't have enough tax collection to even sustain their administrative costs. Between 75% to 90% of the administrative costs are borne by the state government. If this type of questions are raised how are these states going to survive. The joke is that these states who can't even sustain their own administrative costs even talk of secession.
Note that divestment of funds is decided by the Finance Commission which has representation from all the states. So in the commission they agree but in parliament they oppose. Quite a joke.
