- I came out to my 300c not starting. It has the 5.7 hemi. Thankfully it was an easy fix for me this time. Hopefully this may help someone else in a similar situation. Thanks for watching, feel free to comment for help!

I removed the starter relay then put it back in which I didn’t think about 🤦🏿♂️ but I believe it’s definitely my starter .

Hey so I have a 300 touring 2005 and I just got the alternator fixed because my car kept dying overnight and I got it tested needed a new one and my battery is good but my car is still dying overnight everything shows as good I need help I don’t know what it could be
Also my car is so dead in the morning that my dashboard doesn’t even show and I have to unlock my door manually
Sorry to hear that! Have you had the battery tested? It sounds like it’s not holding a charge. This problem could be one of two things. The first possibility is a bad battery, when the battery gets old it loses its ability to hold a charge. The second possible problem would be parasitic draw, this is when there is a constant draw from the battery and it slowly drains it as it sits. That would normally be caused by aftermarket accessories that have been installed incorrectly. Hope you are able to figure it out. If you boost your car up and let the battery charge enough, you should be able to turn it back on after it was running long enough for the battery to charge. You can charge your car battery, then once it has a full charge, disconnect the negative terminal on your battery, the next morning come out and reconnect the battery. If the car starts, then there’s probably a draw from something electrical. If it doesn’t start after reconnecting, then it’s a bad battery. 💯💯💯🤝 good luck with that!!

I have this similar issue but mine will not crank or anything, just a click. Then i turn it off position then take the key out, put it back in and turn it on and starts right up no problem. Starter solenoid? Or is it something else?
Is it a loud click or a quiet one? Where does it sound like it’s coming from? I’d check the starter connections for sure. It sounds like the starter solenoid could be going bad. Definitely make sure the connections at the starter are good though. Good luck with figuring it out! 💯💯

If this dont fix it then the starter is bad hey.
Yeah, if there’s proper power and ground going to the starter and the solenoid wire gets energized when the key is turned. The only thing left would be starter replacement. 💯💯🤝
Mines started up right after valve cover gasket replacement let it run for 30 mins, turned it off. When I came back to turn it on , it started for a while and did a loud clanking noise 😔 now it cranks really slow
Does it make any other bad noises besides a slow crank??
@@colin7761 it did only when it turned on for afew seconds. I took the cover off to see if maybe a pushrod got bent didn’t see any. Took the intake off to see if the valve were bent , saw the problem there, took the heads of. Turns out the valve seats “came off” #7 ate it and the piston is crumbled now, head took the worst . I’m hoping the walls weren’t damaged
