A small thing to note in the song Kim. It's Marshall's perspective on how he felt about Kim. He was not abusive. SHE was abusive. Second thing. Violent J and Shaggu 2 dope are the Insane clown Posse. Also, from Detroit. They called him Slim Anus and that was his response. Ken Keniff from Connecticut had Shaggy 2 dope and Violent J sucking his, ya know. Otherwise, it's a good reaction. I know I'm late to your reaction but better late than never.
A couple more notes on Kim. Firstly, in the song he doesn't strangle her he slits her throat, hence the "bleed bitch bleed". Secondly, this is a prequel to '97 Bonny And Clyde - in Kim he kills her and in '97 Bonny and Clyde he disposes of her and the new husband and stepson.

my Marshal Mathers story is . im 40 this year so when this came out i was 16 working my first job and this album was coming out not long after my 2nd pay check and my first pay check i bought the DMX - Its Dark and Hell is Hot Album and the Eminem - Slim Shady LP . became a big fan of Em and DMX (RIP) in those 2 weeks then this came out and i remember standing in a giant line outside the music store on the rainest day i ever seen even to this day . my CD album cover had gotten soaked even through the plastic film then were covered in when new . played this all the time at parties showing other people slim shady back when everyone didnt know about everything so much . became my Anthem album growing up with a single mom n lil sis. so many stories hit hard then and now im sure for many people. timeless great.

I was 11 yrs old when this album came out my mom bought it for me but the edited version the song kim wasnt on it it was replaced with a song called the kids but i heard the unedited version from my friends brother he was playing the album in his cd player in his room
I remember just laying on my bed listening to this. I was too young to understand a lot of the subliminal messages but I knew it was all satire and was just entertaining. He’s such a good story teller too
