I've got a 580K 4WD from the late 1980s so your presentation is greatly appreciated. I watched all four of your videos in succession, just now finishing. These four videos have to be the best on RUclips. I've seen a lot of "how to" content but never anything better and seldom anything half as good. I've been avoiding work on my hydraulic cylinders because I lacked the knowledge and grew weary of steep learning curves, one after the other. With your videos in hand, I have no worries that I can get the job done. Many thanks.
Thank you for the series. It’s a great end to end real world reporting… no $5000 shop… no super special tools…. Great for refresher on just basic things .
10,000 TIMES thank you. From West Africa .
Wow, that thing is tight, great job! When I watched the original problem back on video 1 I thought for sure it was a valve problem. Thanks for the videos!
You my Brother from another mother are a RIOT on your own! Great content and amazing level of pure joy to watch. Now absolutely i did not click just to see you do it but now i feel a lot more confident and will try one cylinder and see how that works out for me. Thanks again!
Best cylinder repair videos I've seen. Thanks for all the work putting it together.
Very interesting to see the details of the process. I'm glad I stayed for the animated part .. made my day!
Impressive job rebuilding 10 cylinders.
Excellent video .
Loved all the detailed content .
Well, I don't own an old Case.
i do have an old NH 675e and parts are still available since it's a Ford under the decals.
Cant quite figure why I just binge watched this series since I have enough of a shop to do this stuff myself.
Maybe because it was entertaining, informative and mostly showed that ingenuity, thoughtfulness and patience is as good a set of tools as you need to do good work.
Thank you for your video. It helped me do mine the right way the first time.
Just a heads up, they use a special locktight that turns into plastic. You have to heat the bolts to 1400 degrees.
An oxy-acetylene torch applied to the center of the bolt head until it just starts to glow dark red will melt the lock tight. The bolt is then easily removed with ordinary tools.
Or a big milwaukee ugga dugga!
Ok I was wondering why that seal looked so much like a pto seal and I used a socket to get them out a large socket but big enough that will only touch the seal put on a vice and it will pop right out and you can use the socket to put it back in as well
cant wait to see how this all works out.
Excellent
Same tractor same cylinders I have to rebuild. Get a kick out of the "devil" voice 😂
Can't wait until mine looks like yours. Absolutely great video.
Do you know what year yours is?
I know this video is old but I have a question. Is there a trick to getting that lower trunnion flange off?
I took out all 4 bolts, threaded 2 of them in to the puller holes and I've tightened them to the point that in concerned that if I go any tighter I'm going to break or strip something.
I believe that I have the exact same hoe.
580 key Kis seal RAM seal
Thumbs down for the slow motion audio, only made it a few minutes in and I can't watch anymore :(
You can playback youtube videos up to 2x regular speed. I do that for well over half the videos I watch.
creepy AF the audio
