I haven't had the back box delete done yet I'm undecided if to do it or wait and get a different exhaust.
@@TheLondonCarScene Hi mate no l just had the resonator removed by Powerflow and it is better, back box delete would be massively loud so l avoided this in the end l didn’t also want to spend £900 either especially as these beasts are expensive to run anyway lol

Hi, Awosome vid! I've a a45 facelift with performance exhaust aswell, I love the sound of it but wanted some more crackles if I remove the resonator does it really help?
What about drone when crusing? I hate that when we need to go for a trip.. Thanks mate!

I would say you will see a small increase in crackles by removing the resonator nothing to drastic.... I havent noticed any drone increase when just driving around normally, you have to really put your foot down to notice it.

Have you thought about deleting the muffler? to increase the sound . Great video btw
Yes, I looked into it when I got the resonator removed but was told that mercedes had designed the exhaust pretty much aswell as they could have and removing it or modifying it wouldn't make much difference, best option would be to change the exhaust system completely, so I was told....THANKYOU!
Hey mate, car sounds insane! Did you get both the resonators removed or just one of them?
Hi mate, car is available with 2 different versions of exhaust the standard exhaust, which has 2 resonators or the AMG performance exhaust which is an optional extra but only has one resonator(otherwise exactly the same)
Mine is the performance exhaust so I only had one resonator to remove.

Did you remove the back box as well? Or just the mid resonator? (I see you got the perf exhaust)
Just the resonator, thought it would be too loud without the back box

Morning mate, As mine was the performance exhaust it only had one resonator that deutsch tech charge £150 to remove.
The London Car Scene ok cheers I’ve booked mine in for a service and both resonates removed

Not really, would say you really don't notice much unless you are driving it hard.

@@-KOITO- agree with you, 1 neighbour did complain at me but I dont drive mine everyday, so not much I can do.... just enjoy your car mate, if you have the AMG performance exhaust removing the resonator doesn't do to much other than add more crackles on upshift/ downshift, normal driving is pretty much the same as before.
