Hi Derek, just want you to know I really appreciate the time an effort you put into these videos. I find myself learning so much because of you. Thank you!!!
Would it be advisable to exterior caulk the end panels to the side panels as that looks like a possible water entrance point especially when towing? We have a ‘91 Roanoke, original owners, that by mileage, and by equivalence has been around the earth at the equator! Still in great shape! Love your videos!
Putty and cap tape offers some water protection and make for an easier removal should it be required one day. On you Roanoke, You do not need either. Your camper was built in a time where they were double lip rolling the metal panel to allow the front and rear ABS panels to sit inside of them. Very little chance of water getting between them. With all of the above it is indeed OK to caulk your side panels as well. Thanks for watching and writing tobruz!
Hi Derek, your channel is awesome! Would you be able to do a video on the metal side panels? I have 98 westlake where the side panel doesn't meet the rear panel very well. Thanks!!!
Yes I can and we have one that should help already available. Take a look at the access door lock video at the following link. ruclips.net/video/5lvpqPSIqRg/видео.html
Hi Derek, I have a 1985 Coleman Sequoia with a cracked rear panel. I can't find a direct replacement and am wondering if any rear panel for the Americana Series will fit. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
You can use your free parts book on our webstore to search bar the original part number to start. If that does not populate, check back at a later date for all possible new options is one. The second is to use a different panel from our store. For this, measure twice and order once.
Have you taken a look at our body panels directory? colemanpopupparts.com/collections/body-panels-front-rear You can also search your parts book for the original PN colemanpopupparts.com/pages/parts-books Find the lookup information here colemanpopupparts.com/pages/parts-book-instructions I hope this is helpful, and thanks for writing and watching!
We had a little run in with a post at a gas station on our 01’ Niagara. Luckily nothing structural just outer damage to a side panel near the front storage box on drivers side. I was looking on the website to find a replacement part for it. What would you recommend? As easy to remove this piece as the front and back?
Hello Ashley! For a replacement panel, have your dimensions ready when you search. Many times the same sized panels were used across units, but different decal sets or options made them new part numbers. For removal and installation, I just shot an access door lock replacement video that will show you the steps for replacing side panels. It will be ready within a day or two. Thanks for writing!
