This is a violation of the regulations of New York's archaeological sites.
You shouldn't disturb geological layers covering historical findings.
Call it however you want to all i see is dirt, grease and other buildup. I dont see it as an archeological site i see it as nasty place i dont want to go to.
the joke flew over basically everyone's head
@@Mzaleo Oh, PLEASE! You sound like my mother describing my room.
She never understood laziness.
@@depizixuri58 😂😂🤭🤭 Accurate
I got the joke LoL but thats what the goverment will say to not clean shit. Nasty motherfrs 🤭
just use a pressure washer? way cheaper...
Mad hot.....but who would use lil bit of brain
Yeh, but bringing a pressure washer into a subway station may be a tad difficult.
@@AlvinGuoSubscribe I don't think so. There must be some sort of water supply down there.
They do...i work late nights and they usually clean the stations when its empty with pressure washers
They clean them all the time with pressure washers. The problem is that they don't have enough pressure washing crews and it gets dirty so quickly again that you wouldn't even know it had ever been cleaned. You'd almost think that a grime spraying crew followed the pressure washer crews around to put the grime back on everything, so as to keep NYC's reputation intact.
You should organize a team of people to really clean a station.
Like the Adopt a Street program... You could start an "Adopt a Platform" program. 😁
I've quite literally asked the MTA to let me clean my station with no response.
This would make a hell of a lot of jobs
That was a pretty good idea. Have cleaning brands sponsor the stations to see which one is left the cleanest
Yea the will keep the place smelling fresh and looking clean. lol
This is a job for a pressure washer or portable steam cleaner. Much less effort and time.
Don’t think they’ve been employed by the MTA if the stations look that bad
I read this in a batman voice.
Go to Tokyo, the subways are SPOTLESS clean, funny thing is, theres not a trash can in sight
@bobagopaaa I'm black and I was in Japan for a full three months, I didn't see the subways get any dirtier with me around tho 🤷🏽♀️
@bobagopaaa Racist
Yup
depending on which line you take, overground JR lines are overall dirtier than the metro, but still they got staff cleaning stations 24/7
Jordan Wardan probably stunk the place up tho
You need to use a Dry vapor steam cleaner. It cuts right thru it. Less water than pressure washer. And very little effort needed.
How it be dirtier beneath the first layer of dirt tho?
Because it's nyc what do you expect
This should be a program to clean important places in new York, like actually clean things like stations, monuments and iconic areas. You know how many jobs that could open up if we all cleaned?
This guy has hilarious ideas for videos ... why you guys ain't using him more often is news to me. His mini doc on train hopping was ridiculously good ... GIVE THIS JOKER A FULL SHOW!
Seriously, this guy cracks me up everytime.
@@ian3334444 This guy is quite a hack. That's why he does shorts for a crappy foodie news blog that needs assistance from a public funding news site.
Yep, saw the train videos. Pretty good ride he took us in.
His name is Jeff Seal he has a youtube channel!
imagine going into the subway and seeing someone cleaning a train...
The last time the New York City subway system was clean ! Rudy Giuliani was mayor!
i though you're cleaning a 40-years-abandoned station, until the train comes
Solution: get a nice high quality pressure cleaner with the round rotating brush and Clorox. Use inmate labor.
Needs a good power wash down that will definitely get it clean
They should rehabilitate the new york subway
I want to help you clean these NYC subways
Bro cleaned the train 💀 Also, MTA has train-washes.
Theres no saving it
Subway should have rail wash stations for rail cars
This is the ultimate house cleaner test
This makes me miss NYC
Did you say"miss" or "piss" because that's probably what he's cleaning in most of this video ..
👝🍋🚶
@@CliftonPhotographer no its all the dirt from the bottom of the shoes+ spilled drinks and 10% piss on some stations
bring out the pressure washer
"look how clean that looks!"
Uses dirty shoe to wipe off dirt.
Of course it’s dirty Millons of people step on it
B.A.R.T has the same problems but just add some hypodermic needles around and there you have it
They really should have like, household cleaning brands to like put ads on the subways if they clean the stations too
Well you guys really love the subway.. 👍🏼
Damn!! Indian metro/subway stations and even railway stations are a 100 times cleaner than this shit!! 😂
THE GUY DOING THE SCRUBBING WENT HOME AND DIED FROM A MYSTERIOUS DISEASE WITH NO KNOWN CURE!!
The Mr. Clean liquid is awesome cleans everything
Funny thing is ppl actually get paid to clean those stations lol
simple green and brush, rinse, then literally any soap = clean. Hydrogen peroxide also works.
Omg the train sounds :)
What is the font in the beginning?
Take a power washer
Seriously !! It’s a subway in NYC your lucky the trains shows up at all!!!
Damn that's vile
how bout they powerwash it?
You like like that money heist guy
Can we start a movement to clean fucking subways
yall should clean the 3 train they are hella dusty
Clean that R46!
no way MTA gonna clean like that. It would cost them $100 for the same cleaning supplies that we can buy in the supermarket for $5
Just pressure watch it
Miss your videos
Use power washer
zero resolution in this video other than "yeah there's paint under this grime". pointless
Did you really expect to get resolution from this ahahah?
What a poor and naive little brain you have
@@TheFreshSpam yes, how dare someone believe in journalism or even hope for resolutions. find another video/topic to demean someone over, this is clearly not your strong point.
@@johnn6699 Have you got Aspergers? What did you expect from a video on RUclips made by normal people for fun? Are you really that special you thought you would gain or learn something from this?
That reply makes no sense. Believe in Journalism.... Not everything has to have closure nor answer any questions.
Ovbiously the original surface is below a layer of dirt. And you will see it again if you clean it. Duh...
To assume makes an ass of you and me, remember that one for the future...then you won't get dissapointed 😂
@@TheFreshSpam i dunno, maybe thinking that GOTHAMIST is a MEDIA OUTLET and not just NORMAL PEOPLE but perhaps they're JOURNALISTS?
JFC, stop your trolling and move on.
@@TheFreshSpam you're just a childish, name-calling troll who makes videos of video games, which makes you oh-so-superior. notice, I've only called you a troll, but you consistently try to mudsling like is your job. surely all 509 of your subs love your witty banter and.....um, unique videos. kindly piss off or get a different hobby.
Yeah.... good luck with that..
needs a steam cleaner
There isn't enough Febreze in the world.
Too many people in subway, there’s no way you can clean it
Tell that to the Japanese.
You could eat off the floor in theirs! 🌻🌄
USA could get some inspiration from the Japanese railsystems with people deep clearing their stations regularly, but I guess you need a interest from the ruling elite and people being proud of there public transport system.
People pee on platforms too.
Try in Chinese metro systems- Oh wait its spotless to begin with.
Lol good luck with that
See that’s where u went wrong - tide. Lol. Clorox. Just. Bleach.
HAHAHA.....ah Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Where is the money to clean that up going to come from? HAHAHAHAHAHA
Does Scrub Daddy work?
What happened to this channel?
They became obsessed with dirt and they will purge the filth be it by scrub daddy or incandescent cleansing fire...
Tide? Clorox is better
It's probably bad idea to use bleach in a semi-enclosed underground space due to the fumes.
Wesley Davis tide is my worst enemy
B
It would be easier and more effective to just make people wash before they enter the subway.
Transit workers are lazy, you never see them cleaning the subways.
River-God lol you really think people would be out here scrubbing subway floors that have almost un cleanable stains and grime while getting paid minimum wage? Your out of your mind
@@greatestgamer10 transit workers get paid way more then minimum wage
They do clean some stations
@@greatestgamer10 I don't agree that it's about laziness, the MTA just doesn't put any resources into cleaning platforms. However, MTA employees make almost 4-6x the minimum wage. Most of their bottom level jobs (cleaning staff, customer service, etc.) pay a minimum of $32/hr.
@Steve Harrington If you've got time to lean, then you've got time to clean!
