I looked long and hard for just the right setup for my off-grid living situation when I retire in a couple of weeks. Your video sold me on the Billy Bob products. Nice job on the video.
Enjoyed this - I checked out the Billy Bob - cool. Will definitely need to consider. I was looking for something like this. Your videos are educational and fun! Your wife looks great! I am sure the twins are coming soon. Hoping delivery goes smoothly for everyone. Fun little "slamm'in thing at the end of your videos!
I've gained 10 lbs just by watching all your reviews of cooking gear LOL...GREAT JOB AGAIN... now time for me to go hike My Rogers to lose the weight lol
Should try fruit parcels. Diced fruit wrapped in tin foil and a dash of whiskey and brown sugar. Heat up slightly until fruit juice is warm and then you a nice desert. A Scottish thing.
I graduated with Billy Bob. But I doubt he's the one who it's named after because it would have had Roll Tide stamped on it somewhere. And that would have been a breakfast you were cooking instead of dinner.
I purchased a Billy Bob grill and it arrived today. The simplicity of the design was promising, but I am extremely disappointed in the quality and craftsmanship of this product. The cutting and welding is horribly done. Multiple broken welds, and gaps. It looks worse than a middle school trades class did it. Not to mention it arrived rusty like it's been sitting around for a while in the elements.
I understand hand made. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect a minimum level of quality on something I spend $200 on. Broken welds and melted metal don't meet that standard. Glad your's still works great, mine is borderline unusable with the grilling surface unattached from crappy welding job.

Oh Ben, I love these type of videos, I so want this, every day off I'm usually outside cooking over the fire, Thank you Sir!
DO IT
I love that. Clever design and simplicity at its best.
Your homestead is beautiful, Ben. Congratulations! It's great to see Kristen looking so healthy and radiant.
Yours is my favorite channel because of the variety of gear you review and also so many things I’d never know about otherwise.
Thanks Mark, that is what I shoot for.
Have mine. Enjoying it tremendously..
Exactly what I was looking for!
Wow! Perfect for my backyard fire pit.
GREAT.
I got a billbob I love it. Ive also made a couple of attachment like a griddle fo pancakes. They are really awesome.

Great review. I love it. I bought the campmaid kit you reviewed but this would also come in handy. Thanks. Tony
you will love the campmaid stuff.
One cool add on for sure. Good looking steak and potatoes. Awesome for the car/camping excellent review
Definitely.
Looks great! Hope you guys are enjoying the new house.

Always use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness, 125f and let rest gives you perfect medium well, 120 med. rare
Oh yeah I need one of those to put in the trailer when smoothing it.
It would be cool if you could order an additional main pole/stake so you could leave one in the ground at home.
I'm sure you could work something out with Jerry and get an additional one.
It looks like about 3/4". A Steel Concrete-Form stake would probably work. You can get them as long as 3' from HD for around 7 bucks.
Got myself one also. Great invention. Also great video showing its functions.

Sounds slammin!
I can see the grill likes to slip a lot. Maybe a lock screw and re-engineering will perfect it, or a vise grip
Excellent!

Great Review. Boy those strips looked great.
Mahlzeit! :)
great channel! subscribed!
Why does the grill slope too much but the other ones stay relatively level
Nice
How long is the stake that goes in the ground?
That is freaking awesome
i thought so.
Something a boy scout troop could use to teach firecraft or cooking
Could you do a review on the nature hike sleeping bag or maybe something like it? It’s basically a super tiny and light sleeping bag. Thanks!
Great product... but... will it work on the sand?
Actually, that is a pretty cool setup.
Are the twins born yet Ben? If so congratulations to you both!!
Not yet.
I like it...but...why didn't they bend the bar at the edge of the grate so the grate sits flat?
it's flat, but pounding in the stake without a level will throw it off. works either way though.
from video how can you tell it's not flat?
doesn't look flat to me...
Ben. How long did you cook that steak for it to become nighttime? Lol
It seens very compact
How long does it take to cook on the fire?
Same amount of time a grill takes
Am I going to have to break down and by one of these
If you’ve got a nice fire ring for sure.
At $110 for something I made out of scrap. Small diameter stake won't hold up weight in soft soil
Serious steaks!!!
How has it held up for you??
Still use it!
Cool, had one similar years ago that was homemade . Don't know what happened to it.
out of tinfoil watched too many ufo and bigfoot videos this week
cool idea however its way over priced, ya would be better off buying a 4 piece camp maid for the same price
Lol...those prices are ridiculous! Way Too expensive! 👎👎

Hand made, mines still working great.

Way over priced. And man your wife took quite the bite there. 🥩
Over cooked!
Thanks for the vid I'm just going make mine at work though...gives me something to do
