Not true to be honest, they have Armor perks, high health and the Extra Dmg multiplies with their other One Handed perks making them very deadly. But there is a gimmick where you can steal their hearts and they will die instantly.
Yup, fights with Briarhearts are usually over very quickly either way! And thank you! 🥳 The chiefs have a very good damage output as well. When I first tested them, I was surprised too 😄
@@thatskeletordude5271 They have a pretty low damage resistance despite their armor perks, although they're very tanky against magic. 😄And I love that gimmick!

Potential video, have some college of winterhold mages of your choice to undergo the final trials against the ghosts of the Gauldurson brothers. Since the quests starts from their playthrough.
I would like to do something with the Gauldurson brothers, but their boss fight doesn't work well with NPCs. There are too many problems. I've tried several times and it was terrible. Maybe someday I'll try again, but for now, it's not doable :/
@@dreamzplayern1684 It's been a while since I've tested it. Basically, NPCs will attack all the brothers, including those behind the force field where Gauldur appears as a ghost. This breaks the quest. They even sometimes attack Gauldur himself. Aside from that, Sigdis' shout can easily make them glitch through the map. And I remember an issue about the quest itself that made it not proceed anymore
Forsworn Briarhearth mage in round 1: Wait! I wasn't... blargh! 2nd round: Wooow gently with your hammer. The bandit leader could have done better, I don't know if it's because of his hammer that he dragged on a bit during the fight x.x the last fight, I never imagined that this creature would be the last. I want to see the Briarhearth mage again vs other mages and necromancers and the Briarhearth melee vs high level warriors and monsters!
Yeah, putting a mage against a melee fighter can give us very different results! Pretty cool to see. 😄I'm glad you enjoyed it! The Chief could do better if he blocked less often, but he still wouldn't match a Briarheart. He could only win if he stunlocked him to death 😂 It's pretty hard sometimes finding an opponent for the final round. The Lurker made for a nice battle 😄 I don't use the Briarheart mage much because he has a low DPS output but a very high magic resistance, so mage fights often get very long and boring. 😅 As for the melee one, I need to make another episode sometime, yes!
It's sure, there is a difference, like for an archer ^^ In any case the lurker had his glory I understand, it's better when it goes to the cac X) ⚔ You're welcome @@lSlendermaster , even in adept mode, it's still incredible!
I would like to see these fights again, but with the bandit chief having a shield and one handed weapon. Bandits tend to fight well with shields and bash at the proper time to interrupt enemy attacks. I once saw a video of a basic bandit beat a bandit outlaw thanks to the bandit shield bashing the outlaw. According to USEP Bandits have 35 HP while Outlaws have 109 HP.
I've tested both Bandit Chiefs with two-handed, and one-handed weapons and a shield. They are more tanky with the shield, but also deal less damage. As for the bashes, they are rather unbalanced; it often either ends up in stunlocking the opponent, or the shield user blocking far too long, wasting too much time. As for the video you've seen, a single win doesn't necessarily show the average result, and the weapons and the other armor also matter a lot. With similar gear except for the shield, the Outlaw would probably win most of time. 😄 I might use Bandit Chiefs with shields sometime, although with mostly different opponents than here. It would get too repetitive otherwise 😄
We gotta see something with Harkon's human form. So far, the only way I've seen to do that is by spawning him before starting the Dawnguard questline. It might also work if you choose to side with the vampires, and go a little further (But not complete) along the entire story, as he will be available in his human form, atleast until you visit the forgotten vale.
Hmm, I'm not sure if he would be interesting enough. He's even weaker than the Vampire Lord form. 😅 Yeah, that limitation is very annoying. I've tried spawning him in the past, using all available IDs, and never got his human form until I reverted back to a very old save. He doesn't do much damage with his spells so he could only fight rather weak opponents
Bandit chiefs who wield warhammers are the ones I fear the most. I always have my work cut out for me when facing bandit chiefs with warhammers. Especially when it's one of the more aggressive chiefs. I've noticed some bandit chiefs tend to be more defensive and block often whereas the more aggressive bandit chiefs are swinging their weapon all over the place trying to hit me with all they got lol.
Oh yeah, I feel that! 😂 Some gave me a good bit of trouble too. Do you remember any specific chiefs being more or less aggressive? From what I know, most should behave the same. If that's not true, I would like to take a look at the mechanics of those individuals. Always nice to learn something new! They will also react to the way you fight. For example, many NPCs have an increased chance to use power attacks if their opponent is blocking. So blocking against them will make them more aggressive. It turns Lurkers and Karstaag into stomping machines 😂
@@lSlendermaster Now that you mention it I have noticed that when I'm blocking enemies I do seem to get hit with power attacks more often than when I'm not blocking. I have noticed however that certain bandit chiefs seem to be set at a certain level. For example the bandit chief at Halted Stream camp always spawns in steel armor and it's always a male orc and he only really seems tough for the first 10 levels before he becomes easy whereas others such as Krev the Skinner can spawn as any gender or race and can spawn either as a 2-handed or 1-handed fighter and levels with the player up to level 30 if I'm not mistaken. Krev seems to perform more power attacks than the orc from Halted Stream so I'm thinking it's more to do with the amount of stamina each chief has in comparison to others and not so much their actual behaviors. However I have noticed that 1-handed chiefs with shields will bash me much more often almost to the point of stun locking me whereas the 2-handed Chiefs just stand there and block normally and rarely bash so there definitely seems to be a difference between 1-handed and 2-handed chiefs.
@@BrandonP8176 That all makes sense to me! Most bandits are leveled, and they can use different templates with different levels and races. The difference between 1-handed and 2-handed bandits is definitely a thing too, and the stamina matters as well, yes. I've noticed with the Ebony Warrior that he often blocks and waits for his opponent to attack, then uses a shield bash to interrupt them. He uses a generic combat style for human melee warriors, which is pretty similar to what bandits use (although he blocks and bashes even more than them). I do wish that NPCs would block less often though, because I've had many fights where they died from not even trying to attack 😂
The first two are cool ideas! Volsung is frost-based so he couldn't do damage to Karstaag, but I'm planning on having him and the Ebony Warrior fight some of the masked Dragon Priests at some point. I'll see about the specifics. 😄 Malkoran vs. the Forgemaster is on my list already, should be nice to watch too!
@@jakoblarsson1926 Hmm, good question. I'd say either Karstaag or the Ebony Warrior. Not only because they are strong, but because they can handle a variety of opponents well. The Ebony Warrior does great at both short and long ranges, is very tanky, and can heal efficiently. Karstaag is amazing for crowd control, and his stomps make for some of the most entertaining moments.
