Definitely reduce the caffeine, it makes you jittery and reduces your ability to concentrate in depth. Everything you can do to help your brain physically and psychologically will help.

    • @jamesrawlins735

I remember back in the 2000s chess was making an effort to get into the Olympics. At that time caffeine was on the banned substance list (but only during competition.) That sticking point caused FIDE to drop its efforts (can you imagine telling chess players, "No, you can't drink coffee, tea or caffeinated soda during your 4 plus hour matches?") Of course the greatest player of all time, Magnus, drinks OJ.

I take vitamin B supplements and Taurine supplements. I start working at 6 AM every day😅 The thing with caffeine is that it blocks sleeping compounds, once the caffeine is gone, the floodgates open up, and you crash🥱

'taking time because I was scared' is not a good strategy. Taking time is supposed to be for analyzing possibilities, and taking time in the opening is foolish and unnecessary since there aren't a lot of tactical possibilities and the purpose is just (supposed to be) to develop your pieces quickly

It was a bad day for Sweden yesterday..theres no dressing it up. Yes it was good to draw your match from a losing position but you needed a win to get a point for Sweden..who left the hall with nothing and a slide down the table.. so in a team competition you fight for the win you don't offer a draw. There were learning opportunities there.. also you spend 30+mins in positions that doent req that amount of time - which is frustrating, esp as you have good instincts and are a good rapid player.

I love you Anna, but why do you ''realize'' all the time?
    See? heh heh

She’s losing and drawing opponents that are 200-300 rating points lower than her.
I find it interesting that she keeps saying I’m happy with the results or I learned this or that when the time issues and “ underestimating “ opponents seems more like a cope. Sorry, I like Anna but I find that she sometimes avoids reality for niceness.

She´s a happier person than you. Good for her!

      I agree👍
All of her sweet candy pink unicorns at the end of the rainbow rise and shine rhetoric is making me queasy. Surely Sweden has got better competitors that should represent the national team?

@@hermanjohnell2717 That’s a weird thing to say. I’ve been following Anna’s channel for years so what I’m saying is that she keeps saying the same things over and over again as if it’s a new epiphany. I’m being objective because most people will not tell her the truth and she will never improve. Happiness is a separate issue and we shouldn’t assume such things of others. Have a great day! 😃
