Being taught bodywork from the expert is awesome. I’ve got the arches to do on mine so this is inspirational. Keep showing us “how too” vids. P.S. your getting much more confident in front of the camera, well done Alex. 👍🏽😎
Hi - super excited about potentially buying a Miata for senior brother soon to graduate high school. I am looking at a 1990 NA Miata with 177000 for 4K. is that too much. It has a wrap job. Owner says paint under is solid.
@@AlexPerrucci It did not work out, Alex. with that said, I am looking at this one which I am excited about.facebook.com/marketplace/item/2803213576447813. Its pretty high on the price. Hope he knocks it down a bit
Alex, I would like to buy a 2004 Miata that is either stock or has a quality turbo modification. Know of any? What else would the car need in order to participate on a track day? I wouldn't mind having a newer model if the newer car had a quality Turbo job already completed. If I don't buy a Turbo car, I would like to make that my project to add a turbo. I don't want a full-scale project car, but I would consider adding. a Turbo as the only project. I want something I can take out on the weekends or take to a track day. Any leads or suggestions would be appreciated.
Is 5k too much for an ‘96 M edition Miata? It comes with a hardtop, paint is clean except the hood has some pretty gnarly orange peeling. He says the engine is in good working order, has 102,000 miles on it.

That's some fine work! I have to fix a couple dents on my project NA and this video could prove to be quite helpful to me!
Can't wait to get this thing running!

This is Amazing I love this idea!! More, More content about this car!!
So nice to see a car with a worse trunk/battery area than mine! Mine has a little rust
Hahah yeah this ones a little nasty. We’re going to try and clean it up some!
@@AlexPerrucci I look forward to seeing your progress. Great vids 👍
Good job, those spike gun looks like they would be satisfying to use!
Thanks! Yeah they’re super handy.
Really enjoyed this video Alex, thanks. How easily do the welded studs come off ? Do you then have to sand off lots of marks ?
Some twist off pretty easily, others I just clip with side cutters and then quickly grind away anything left with a grinder.

If it has some nice mods or is super clean $4k might be ok. Otherwise I would try and talk that down a bit.

Thanks! Yep, hammer and dolly is my go to.
I used a small hammer and punched it from the inside trunk, I regret everything lol. Might have to try your way.
