Great content Kendra! Prior cardiac nurse I &Os for my heart failure patients used to send me over the edge when family members or other staff gave them fluids and minimized the fact that they were on a fluid restriction 😬
I’ve been on the hunt for meaningful nursing content. Ive watched many of our videos and love the fact that you keep it real. I’m in my first semester and start clinicals on Monday. Thank you for the tips. 👍🏽😁
Thank you for much for this material! I am in my 3rd semester and always look at videos like this to be better. I cant wait for that assessment video! Looking forward to it. Thank you for your vids, they're very helpful!
Hi Kendra 👋. I've been watching your videos for several days and sense you are an amazing nurse. You love what you do and stand up for yourself and your patients. My mom was a nurse for many years. She loved her patients and her job. She worked in many departments and embraced learning. Your voice is so soothing and therapeutic. You remind me of my mom's passion for nursing. The knowledge that you share and how you expound upon your experience just flows out of you like water. I can tell you are an EXCELLENT TEACHER! Thank you for your videos.
@@KendraRN Hey Kendra.. Eventhough you are doing these videos sharing you work and life experiences, you really don't know how much of an impact you are giving to those watching. Continue doing what you're doing , which is commendable. My mom passed away October 2018 and missing her every day. May people loved and appreciated my mom and she was truly a gem. Thank you for sharing while in the process bring happy memories of my mom during her past nursing career. Have an amazing day!! With warm regards, Noreen..
Ms Kendra, I'm not there yet... struggling through prerequisites [thank you for your input], you have confirmed my thoughts as to how I would approach the assessment part. During my previous full-time position [I stepped down prior to the start of the Fall semester], I learned that being equipped with the history of the situation will often eliminate possible errors by way of discovery setting the foundation for a more positive outcome 😀 Thank you for the learning points!
Hi, I am a new subscriber. I really love your videos, I graduate in April and I am about to start my ICU clinical rotation in two weeks. I wanted to obtain more information to advance in my studies. This is by far the best video I have seen about how to prepare for clinical. I wish that I have watched your videos earlier in my nursing school profession. But either way you will help me finish school strong and prepare to become a nurse. Thank you for making these videos
There is a reason I stumbled on your videos, Im in the last semester and yesterdays clinical was HORRID! I need assessment videos STAT! LOL Like how do I assess all 3 patients before 9am? how best to present my patients to my clinical instructor ect. I am so overwhelmed!
I got a's in class but clinical was crazy!!! It seemed like they tried to break us to see how we handled pressure. I pretended to not be bothered but lol i was. I was a kid with no medical experience.
Thank you so much for creating the video! I’ve been searching for videos with in depth tips for clinicals and most if not all rarely went into the actual tasks involved. I’ll definitely bring your advice for my clinical tomorrow!
Thank you for confirming that I am in the right track. As a clinical instructor, I know a lot of this information isn’t taught. How to navigate clinical is info I want to give to nursing students ❤️. I’ll be putting more content out for you all! Tell your friends 😊😊😊
I hope I can pass NCLEX Exam I Don't have a job,I am 32 years old all my dreams related to NCLEX,if I can choose between my life and NCLEX would choose NCLEX
Me: Encouraged and expected to practice and complete thorough head-to-toe assessments at every clinical opportunity 😂 At least, we don't have to copy previous chart notes, because we have our assessment to fall back on. But do we fully understand all of our findings?? Not quite 🤭
We need more clinical instrutor like you!
Great content Kendra!

Thank you and yes, I know all about the extra fluid intake🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️. Me to family members: “Who brought this liter of Coke in here”???? 🙄😏😏
You’re literally hitting all the points and areas where I’m struggling
I’m happy you found it useful!!!

I will be uploading those kind of videos, specifically for nursing students.
Wouldn't you rather have just paid Nurse Kendra for your degree? Her channel is gold!
Hahahah thank you. That means a lot.

You really have to be mentally strong to withstand some of the toxicity that comes with being a student in clinical. I’m sorry it’s that way.
Thanks Kendra!
Please don't forget about the assessment video you promised to upload for clinical students. Thanks again
THANK YOU SO MUCH 😭😭🧡🧡💛
