MEW ATTACKER BUILD! Best Tera Raid Build Guide for 7 Star Mighty Mewtwo

- This is a build guide for Mew with a bug tera type that is perfect for the 7 Star Mighty Mewtwo raid.
Tera: Bug
Nature: Adamant
Held Item: Metronome
Necessary Moves: Struggle Bug, Swords Dance, Leech Life
Optional 4th Move: X Scissor, Tera Blast, Light Screen, Mud Slap
EVs: Attack and HP/Sp Def
How to raid:
1. Use Struggle Bug 3 times when the raid begins
2. Use Swords Dance 3 times after
3. Terrestralize and use Leech Life
4. If Mewtwo nullifies stats then start back at step 1
5. Cheer heals if needed, you can also cheer attack if Mewtwo nullifies your team stats a lot

PRO TIP: Use Misty Terrain or Electric Terrain move to force Mewtwo to FAIL his Rest move and thus never recover any health. This will speed up your raid time drastically and make the raid way easier!!!
In place of what?
Misty terrain also protects against freezing from ice Beam. To me electric terrain should not be recommended

i was a support build but decided to switch to an attacker because everyone i was in the room with wasnt doing enough damage and i stumbled across your video. i followed your directions and got my Mewtwo in the first try. So you got yourself a new subscriber! thank you!
yeah i really doubt the need for a support mew at all in this situation. i played a lot of battles where two or more people tried to play support and we failed so i decided to just focus on attacking for my build video. people seem to have this idea that support is really important for this raid and it just isn't. i think it's more of a personality choice, people don't want to be the leader so they hide in the corner with their support build and try to act like what they're doing is critically important. the facts and our experience just don't bear out that reality, and in fact the attacking is the most important as we've seen. hence my video. anyway maybe i psycho analyze the gaming community too much lol

To all those struggling out there, your time will come! I was running a support Mew and then switched to an offensive Mew.
By chance, all 3 randoms had Mews AND they must have watched this video because all of us were in sync. 2 attackers and 2 support, one fainted but we had ample time and did enough damage to where I delivered the last blow. X-Scissor hits hard after 3 SD(sword dance) and mud slap can be run by a support for some cheesy plays! It came in clutch for the last part!
But yes, everyone needs a Mew and they HAVE to know what they are doing. If you need help I am willing because I was in that same boat!

do you need light screen or reflect against psystrike ? it's using mew special attack but hit on your defense, also mixed evs with 126 on def/hp ?
Mewtwo is a special attacker. All his attacks are special attack
I did my EVs wrong before this event started and I had to fix them to sp Def and HP
Thank you for your help! I got Mewtwo on my 2nd try 🤩 I think the raid glitched, after we broke the shield, he never rested and the bar stayed yellow so we beat it with half the time left. But, I'll take it!
That's not a glitch. Someone on your team used electric terrain or the other fairy type terrain I forgot the name. It causes rest to fail. It's a big brain play
Add Misty Terrain move activate before the shield breaks it stops it recovering
or electric terrain too! such a handy tip

Personally i preferred muscle band (probably should have gone expert belt looking back) over metronome for the more immediate impact
Its interesting to see such a small pool of move variety across all the videos ive seen. They Definitely pushed us to win this with mew lol
in any situation there is a meta and this appears to be the meta. if there was a better move combination then people would naturally distribute that one, but I am not aware of it if it does exist. i saw a lot of people on my live stream try other stuff and none of it worked except this build. that's probably why it's being passed around, because it's the best.
@@JonnoPlays oh for sure. On the one hand it makes for a better experience with randoms but if it was just as difficult and Mew wasn't basically told to be used we might have had even longer fun trying different mons.
We need more raids of this difficulty imo

Adamant best
i always go for max damage and use adamant or modest. honest those are the only two natures i have ever used in the game.
Just lost my first Mewtwo raid since I have this build set up now to three crits in a row
Nothing you can do about crits except mud slap and pray he misses
I've tried to beat Mewtwo many time in the 7-Star Terra Raid before I could capture it with the help from other trainers join in but I still lose, don't get me wrong I know this is suppose to be a difficult challenge but it's still not fair😒because Mewtwo always used it's shield before any trainer can start attacking it.
The challenge isn't hard. Please use this build and follow the play instructions. A lot of people got it from this build so you just need to be patient and follow the steps and take the time to understand what is happening. Mewtwo has extremely high special attack so that's why struggle bug is necessary to lower it. When he negates Stat changes that means something and you have to respond appropriately as a team.
My Mew I got is a Bug and psychic type.

you can easily solo this raid. cheer heals if you get low and can't use leech life to heal up.
