Hellloooo! My name is Clancy and I'm a 26-year-old TV news reporter. I'm originally from Long Island, NY but I moved to Cincinnati, Ohio where I work for the CBS affiliate, Local 12. Livin' the dream. :)

Heyy Clancy! Just wanted to leave a comment to say that no matter what, don't ever feel bad or feel like you are not doing enough for these world situations. It is completely ok to choose to work in a more fun and "lighter" way and do these live shots where it is a bit more laid back and not so serious. Everyone that watches your videos appreciates your humor and sincere ways you try to make everything feel better, and you are doing that just by filming day to day things and that is your purpose and if you enjoy it that is what matters. I tune into your videos because it is a break from the constant bad news we have to see everyday and it is good to know that there is also space for journalists to talk and report other news that don't envolve tragedies because that's what life is, the good and bad. So thank you for all the work you put into your stories everyday and your videos! You have an amazing atitude in life and positivity. I think I speak for everyone here when I say these vlogs are the perfect way to catch a little break and just enjoy the normal aspects of life that are still happening, despite all the bad things around us. Clancy I am a nurse and maybe I love watching your vlogs so much cuz I have had weird work schedules too and we are the same age. I used to work night 6-6:30ish 3x week, then I switched to days for a bit. For the past two years I have had a pre/post surgery job I LOVE and I work 5:15-1:45 M-F but I wake up at 4:25 to get ready and I also just had my 1st baby so life seems so busy even after work! So grateful I don’t wake up at 2am or work nights anymore. You are so right there are pros and cons to any type of job schedule!
Also love that you are a genuine person, hardworking, and trying to live your best life! Glad that person in the truck didn’t hit you! So scary!
Aww thank you so much!! I’m so glad you found a shift you love! I feel like the 5:15 to 1:45 hours are perfect. Not so early that you have to shift your entire sleep schedule around, but early enough where you get so much done before the rest of the world even wakes up!
I feel like your purpose in your work is putting a smile on peoples faces, sometimes we need lighthearted news and videos that take us away from the reality of the world that we're living in today.
I love Neil and I don’t think he’s mean 😂 It’s just hilarious how opposite you guys are. I can tell he’s a good guy, he just has a way about him - very blunt, hahah

The coverage from Ukraine is horrible & so upsetting. I cry when I watch it. You don’t have to feel guilty about anything. What you do everyday is important . Clarissa Ward is one of my heros. She really brings vital information to the world from such dangerous places but it is the truth we all need to see. So many people are weary (wrongfully!) of the news media these days and honestly I feel for reporters like yourself, Clancy, who are accused to creating false facts just because the truth is hard to hear. I'm so glad you are speaking about the topic of war, because even in escapism we still need some touch with reality. I urge everyone to donate to UNHCR or other refugee organizations. The refugees from Ukraine and worldwide need our help now. Urge your govts to act. It's a horrible humanitarian disaster. Thank you for sharing your week with us! How strange not to see Zac!

I just picked up that book about the war reporter yesterday at the library on your recommendation. I can’t wait to read it. Neil is a the best. Neil, don’t change a thing! I think his crankiness shows just how close you guys are. Plus, he’s an animal lover.
And he was right on point about having an animal if you live alone. You definitely don’t feel alone! And just the barking alone will usually scare off any possible intruders!😎
Clancy, I am so relieved to hear that you did not get hit by that truck speeding through the light! You definitely have an angel sitting on your shoulder. Seriously, we have to do defensive driving these days because there are people on the road that do not deserve to be on the road with the way they drive! Yes, I have cried seeing and hearing on the news about what has been going on in Ukraine. It’s just heartbreaking! And I’ve gone through the guilt associated with not having to live in a country where you’re having to flee your home and leaving everything behind. On a lighter note, I Can’t wait to hear what venue you selected for your wedding though!❤️

You change my mornings when I can relax watching your videos with no stress and laugh at all your antics with Zach, reminding me of the similar dynamic I have with my fiance. I'm only a teacher and I always think I'm not making an impact to better the world but I have to remind myself that even if I'm only helping a few kids at a time at least I'm doing something! Keep it up, the world needs more Clancy's!

Clancy I’m so happy you mentioned Ukraine and the situation going on. I was born in Ukraine and most of my family is still there so it has been hard for me to live a normal life. I moved to the US so I understand exactly what you mean when you say that you have the privilege to turn it off. I feel guilty myself that I can turn it off while my family is living through it. Ukraine is strong though and will not fall💙💛

Clancy you should get the red lentil pasta from Barilla and cook it yourself! Only takes 7 mins to boil and you can add your own sauces etc and it is a better bang for your buck!

Thank you for talking about Ukraine. It is so so hard to see and hear about, but I think seeing how awful things are hopefully will help us to make a better world. It’s so hard for me to see what is going on, but I’m following a lot of animal groups and groups that have popped up to help people fleeing and to see people coming together and risk everything to take supplies in and bring out animals and people in need it gives a very needed sense of hope. It’s so hard to see everything, but also hard to not give it any thought. Hopefully our world will become a more peaceful place❤️

About Ukraine you could see the other angle - love, compassion and help offered by other people to refugees. Poland and other countries welcomed refugees. We are talking of regular every day people who took refugees to their own home, are helping at the border and train stations (handing out hand made sandwiches and other food) where people Ukrainians are exhausted from hours and hours of time required to cross the border. Mothers leave their kids' strollers on the train stations where refugees come so they can have some relief from holding their babies. Many NGOs as well as just volunteers collect food, toiletries and clothes to assist since the very news of the attack. Ordinary people are passing the compassion and solidarity test so far.

clancy!!! i had someone run a red light exactly like your situation with me and it was the scariest moment of my life!! the person that ran the red light was also in a pick up truck and they were speeding AND they didn’t even stop at all! i seriously looked out my window to the left and the car was right there basically about to t-bone me, it was insane and i’ll never forget that feeling. i was weirdly so angry at the situation after the fact lol

Clancy can I suggest a makeup tip? You are so pretty already and I don’t mean this in a mean way, but more of a helpful friend suggestion way ❤️ you should flick your eyeliner a little out and up from your outer corners (kind of like a wing, but smudged out and not harsh) and do the same to connect your bottom eyeliner/shadow. I think your current makeup makes your eyes look more round/downturned and this would lift them 🥰
