If m different why should I need to go Canada... I would stay in India itslf
I would highly recommend to new students planning to come to Canada to learn some digital skills like graphic design tools, video editing, ui-ux design or website design and development, 3D softwares etc. There are tons of jobs for these skills and they are much better paid.
Interestingly my course is also btech and i am a game developer so guess things wont be a problem for me
I have knowledge of Adobe photoshop there are jobs regarding this

i got rejected from the Canadian Visa TWICE! I was going to York Uni. From Bangladesh. I suggest go to US instead of Canada. Or go to Rural places in Canada and not Toronto,BC,Calgary.

India has a lifetime wait for employment based (EB) green cards in USA. Bangladesh is current after Labor Certification is approved; its situation is better than India. The hard part is to find employer sponsorship after graduation for OPT or H-1B visa. Then go through all the hassle for Labor Certification. In USA, students with F-1 visas are not allowed to work off-campus unless it is for CPT or OPT; so bring a lot of money.

Canada market is saturated specially Toronto. If someone is planning should look in some other province such as Alberta or BC and in University.

Be careful when studying commerce courses (business admin, accounting, finance, xxx management, etc.) All-program Express Entry draws require CRS scores of 500 or more for ITA (invitation to apply). It is nearly impossible to get above 500 without the help of PNP, LMIA, or French. Your best bet is to choose a province with a PNP pathway for your occupation. Read PNP requirements carefully. Ontario PNP (OINP) is tougher than other provinces' PNPs; unless you qualify for OINP Masters Graduate Stream. Choose the province (for PNP) before finalizing on the school.

@@shivambajaj808 According to MPNP, "12200 Accounting technicians and bookkeepers" is an in-demand occupation. It requires English language minimum CLB of 5. You need to find a job quickly during your 1-yr PGWP. Have 10k CAD settlement fund. Work 6 months; file MPNP.

Have you reviewed the 82 prioritized occupations qualified for category-based Express Entry draws? Have you reviewed Ontario PNP (OINP) to see if there is a PNP pathway for your occupation? As of the end of 2022, more than 50% (about 412k) of Canada's international students are in Ontario, fighting for jobs. Choose your province wisely.
Now a days you need the strong references even though you are well qualified and good experienced

Learn how to draft your resume,be confident when you interview. Overall stop coming to canada after you complete your bachelors in india. He is right get an internship or a job in india stop being drones and running after degrees. A degree without experience means nothing in todays world work on your profile before you move out of india. Dont expect to succeed with just degrees even if its in canada

In the past, you won't stand a chance because employers want Canadian experience. Ontario is trying to change that.

For PR, CS is a good field. For long term, I am not sure. There is ageism. When you are in your 40's, you get too expensive. Many older programmers are considered obsolete. There is a lot of pressure to replace you with a younger programmer or outsource your work completely. I don't see too many programmers in their 50's and 60's still working as employees. They got layoff a long time ago or move into management.

@@sunidhimalhotra7330 You need good communication skills (like locally raised Canadians) to work in HR. Also, people from other majors such as English, Arts, Business Admin, and Psychology also enter HR. More importantly, HRM is not a prioritized occuapation so you won't qualify for category-based Express Entry draws. You need to look a province with PNP for HR. For example, Human Resource Professional is an in-demand occupation under Manitoba PNP.
