    Hang on, if Locrian is kind of based on the leading note (which wants to go up semitone) how come the sequence ends up down? Thank you, I was planning an early night but this is going to drive me nuts.

      It’s because this is F Locrian which comes from the Gb/F# Major Scale and we are then moving down to E Lydian which comes from the B major scale. When you look at the notes of Gb/F# Major and B Major there is only one note difference because they are next to each other on the cycle of 5ths. Hope that helps!

    To my knowledge Cb/B# does not exist in musical notes, or i'm tripping.

      Cb is known as the enharmonic equivalent to B. We spell it this way because with scales you need to have one note of each letter name. If you spelt it with as B then the scale would have two kinds of Bs and no Cs.
