33:03 on the bus did they make it to Dallas? This reminds me of at the end of Grease when Sandy and Danny were in the red car and they were going up in the clouds like they were going up into heaven which really the theory is that Sandy didn't make it out of the drowning. Danny didn't really save her. she's been dead the whole time and the whole going to Rydell High School was just a dream.
So... does that mean Josh would be on that bus, too? I hope not, because then that would mean even in death Jason couldn't have peace without his brother lurking somewhere. 😩
Well we didn't see Josh on the bus, but we did see young Josh in the afterlife (according to this theory) when the plane flies overhead and he's in the field with Jason and Maddog.
He more than likely made it to the other side where the wicked go,right along with mad dog. Josh could've wished Jason was with him back like it was when they were young. However, Jason isn't really with him but it's his hopes. My theory 😂
Y'all should do an analysis on Mad Dog and how it affected his family. Lots of soldiers had PTSD and illness related Agent Orange but got little to no help because Vietnam wasn't a real war according to the government
Different subject. The movie Django was a strange movie. Was Stephen really a Slave owner pretending to be a slave. Just like Django was a slave pretending to be free. Why was Stephen signing checks? Django mentioned in the movie there is nothing worse than a black slaver. Blacks did own slaves during slavery, it's rarely talked about.
Sunset Before Me and my husband watch this movie a lot. I never thought about Jason unaliving himself. Now that I see it this makes sense why her homegirl and brother did not go with Jason to the ambulance. Great Fan Theory.
I felt like it was made to believe that Lyric was dead and that is why everyone was sad and then eventually Josh committed suicide, not wanting to go back to jail and fearing that this time he would either get life or the death penalty for his actions.
Sunset Before. I’ve never wanted to go back and immediately rewatch a movie so bad after one of your breakdowns!!!! This all makes a lot of sense and I’m about to rewatch it now
The mom definitely got fired! She said a line about Josh taking her years on the job for a few dollars on the porch with Jason. Yall be on point with the fan theories! 😊
And if this is true, Jason taking himself out to be with Lyric was selfish!!! His mom lost her job, then has to bury her two sons at the same time, and with what money??? I hadn’t thought about it before, but if this what happened, I am upset with Jason for doing that to her.
Honestly had Jason just let Josh rob that bank and met with Lyric to leave like and him and her had planned both of them would be alive! I think him carrying Lyric at the end was symbolic due to knowing that ghost only carry with them their most precious treasures. He actually died in a smiliar way to Maddog he died loving his woman even in the midst of his own chaos, he still chose Lyric just like Maddog chose to be with their mother. Jason crossed over while carrying lyric in his arms. When lyric died, Jason was wearing blue and she was wearing orange but on their first link up he was wearing orange and I think she was wearing blue. So it’s kind of ironic how they fed off of each others energy. Even down to his car and work clothes..he mostly wore blue which is a calming tranquil color. Lyrics brother car was red and at work she wore black and but on her dates with Jason she wore vibrant colors. Lyric was Jason’s wildflower and Jason was lyrics water from the plane that helped her bloom. It kind of reminds of Poetic Justice in the sense that Lyric states to Jason that she gave up dating brothers from the ward cause she knew it would cause death or incarceration. Truly a Romeo and Juliet star crossed lovers type of vibe!
I'm still fairly new to the channel, but I love what y'all do...keep it up, guys!! This is an interesting theory; I love how you explain the field scene, which I've never liked until I view it using your theory
I just seen the ending and when Jason and Lyric first exit the house everyone was looking at them. And then Lyric brother turned his head and look at them walking away. Idk, imma have to disagree with this fan theory.
@@AxiomAmnesia I feel like the brother or sister is trying to express to y'all that it's okay to have a theory but address the movie as a whole. The scene they bring up is not a deleted scene, it's a part of the movie. Your theory should hold up to the entirety of the movie. Love the content though.
We actually have addressed the movie as a whole. We have other videos that discuss the common interpretation. This video and the original video with the fan theory focus on the theory. We have addressed all aspects and answered.common objections. They're in the video and or in the comments here and in the other video and comments.
This was a nice breakdown of the theory but Jason and lyric didn’t die at the end out of the 3 it was only Josh(Lyric was shot and josh killed himself. Only 2 gunshots went off too which is an indication to me that Jason didn’t kill himself). When Jason carried lyric out of the house Rat(eddie griffin) and the other guy clearly saw them hence their faces and as they walked by you can see rat’s head turning. Alonzo and marti saw them too as they were walking up cause Alonzo ran up to them distraught and rat and the other guy ran and had to hold him back and explain what happened and Alonzo looked at them again before walking to the house. Also when Jason carried her to the ambulance and you can hear the emt saying that they “have a gunshot victim” an indicator that she was only shot not dead and it was two emts the first one jumped out and ran to the back. Jason was moving kinda slow carrying her tho lol but I don’t believe she died
If they were dead, why did she have a bandage on her shoulder? Out of all the etirations of spirits I've never saw them have bandages on their wounds.😂😂
I got a question? if lyrics is dead too couldn't she be walking out with jason? Because Jason shot himself too so they hoth are dead so couldn't lyrics spirit walk out with jason together?
They could have each walked, and he just as well could have carried her. She could have carried him for that matter. I mean, it's the afterlife and they aren't bound to the physics of life on Earth. 😊
WOW!!!! This is my first time seeing your channel and OMG MY CHILDHOOD!! I remember watching this and thinking the end was weird because of the way they all acted when they came out of the house. i never dwelt on it though. I just took it like the end of Carlito's Way. i have never heard it broken down like this and everything you both said was extremely on point. It all makes total sense. Thank you for this eye opener. MOS DEF GOT A NEW SUB!!! Will probably be up tonight diving inTo you channel. NEXT STOP-*O-DOG!

I was wondering about that. That to be Alonso sister you would think oh my God my sister's been hurt let me go to her. But then why is everybody trying to hold him back. He didn't even bother the scream "oh my God where is the lyric?" 7:16
So I said on the original video I thought I was the only one who noticed nobody noticed or reacted to Jason & Lyric but once I saw y'all video I knew I wasn't tripping. I still stand on it that they dead but it was Bokeem killing them not suicide. Keep up the good work.
Great fan fiction.. One thing I interpret differently “the ambulance driver” in my my opinion she didn’t just run past ignoring them she ran around them to open the rear door of the ambulance. If I’m not mistaken all ambulances have rear openings , that’s how they load you on to start medical assistance , she’s not going to start while someone is carrying the victim in their arms .
The abulance lady said there's one gun shot victim on the way to the hospital. They saw them come out the house that why he said he shot her then him self. When shes on the bus she has a bandage on her spirits dont need a bandage
Sunset Before...I would love a breakdown of the movie Life as well as a character analysis of Mad Dog. I'm here for all of it. ❤ As for Jason's Lyric. This is my absolute favorite fan theory of yours. I think as an audience we just really want Jason and Lyric to survive because it's a love story. We want them to be together. But it also makes total sense for them to be dead at the end and together in the afterlife . That's almost more beautiful than being together in this life.
Y’all are tripping. I just watched the movie and Jason and Lyric were not dead. Y’all talking about nobody looked at them when Jason walked out of the house. Oh yes they did. They didn’t give the reaction that you all felt they should have but that was just bad direction. Eddie Griffith, Trech and everyone else looked at them. Even the paramedic lady rushed to the back of the ambulance to let them in. The whole sequence was just poorly directed is all but they were alive!
You're arguing the point of the common interpretation. We literally showed you how it can be interpreted differently. We discussed exactly this in the video. This is a fan theory. 😊
I just noticed that Josh couldn't sleep when they were kids because of his stress over Maddog. But after Maddog was shot, he fell right asleep in Jason's arms.
I have rewatched this scene, and it could be interpreted both ways leaning towards them surviving for one important factor. Ghosts don't wear bandages. In the last scene on the bus, it is clear that Lyric has a bandage over her wound.
@AxiomAmnesia I did, and I have to disagree. If they were on the bus to move forward on to the promised land, they would have to be aware that they were on the other side. Therefore, a bandage wouldn't be necessary. It can also be interpreted that Maddog is in the field with young Jason and Josh as a memory of Jason's and not something happening in real time or a wish that Jason wanted to fulfill. Also, do we really think Josh was on his way to heaven? I'm not so sure. He had a lot to atone for. I know there isn't a formal timeline, but in the frame of the movie, Josh's happy ending wasn't likely.
I'm not arguing with your perspective, because it is in line with the common interpretation of the film and I agree with the common interpretation. At the same time, I also agree with the theory (as a theory... a possibility that the film COULD ALSO BE interpreted this way). Do people who are dead always know they're dead? What does a ghost look like? The fact is, none of us KNOW for certain the answers to these questions. Likely, our supposed answer to these questions is based on the answer to this question => Where do we get the idea of what ghosts look like? Even as far as Jason going to Heaven or not, God is the one who'd make that decision, right? No person can determine the answer to that for sure, because according to Psalm 139:1-2, God is the One who knows the heart.
Sunset Before. I believe your theory is 100% solid on this movie. What if the movie was a flashback on their lives and they were on the bus the whole time from the beginning? I saw Jason’s Lyric when it first came out in theaters and knew there was something different about it. Your theory made me go back and watch it again, seeing it from a different perspective/viewpoint. The narration of Jason during the movie threw me off at first and the second time made more sense. Jason and Lyric never made it to Dallas and the bus on the highway was them on the way to Heaven. I can’t wait to see your next video on this movie and get deeper on this! I enjoyed the video and both of your thoughts on the movie, keep them coming!
Sunset Befo' and you guys always have great content and here's why this fan theory is definitely like the easiest one to say wow that makes much sense Treach character Lonzo got mad at Josh when he saw him looking at Lyric so there's no way he would have ignored Jason carrying her out with all the commotion going on especially with ambulance 🚑 at his house and lastly Lonzo girlfriend was close to lyric she definitely would have not ignored her and o yeah y'all breaking down life would be dope here's a suggestion it's an older movie with Ice T called surviving the game you guys breaking that down also be dope but again just a suggestion thanks for the great content well done
Tbh I'd never thought of this as a theory but rather the storyline the creator intented, their death is loosely veiled under the guise of dreaming/magic, a running theme in the movie. Anyone paying attention will draw the conclusion that they died. Jason & Lyric were the hood Romeo & Juliet, two starcrossed lovers pushed to their early demise by their fueding families who refused to accept their union. While magic is important to Jason, dreaming seems to be equally important to Lyric, she's arguably a hood variation of the manic pixie dream girl trope because that charateristic seems to set her apart (comparing Lyric to the girlfriend of Alonzo, Lyric dared to fantasize of real love while the girlfriend accepted the reality of a lackluster love with Alonzo). Fantasizing/dreaming is verbalized quite often but it's also visualized for the audience in the scene where Jason & Lyric make love in the bayau, while in reality they're laying on dirt/patchy grass, the scene depicts them being atop healthy grass and flowers similar to the crop field Mad Dog takes young Josh & Jason to. That's meant to indicate that everything depicted to the audience is not meant to be taken at face value because the narrator is not realistic in their perspective. In addition to everything y'all noted in the video, we're shown Jason reject the promotion in Dallas but never receive any indication that he later changes his mind. Jason & Lyric never solidified a plan to get out the hood beyond jumping on a bus & going wherever so that lack of a plan coupled with the final scene on the bus, it's easy to understand they aren't alive. Despite Jason being a rational & responsible person (constantly stressing to Josh the importance of employment & being financial stable) we're supposed to believe he just rides away without any plan for how they will sustain themselves? They aren't embarking on a fresh start because realistically, they have no necessary details ironed out, they're aimlessly traveling without the concern of responsibilities. There's too many choices made by the creator for me to not see it as the clear ending.
I was literally named after this movie and watched it millions of times and never noticed that no one reacted to them walking out the house this is mind blowing to me, this just changed my entire perception of the movie. Well not entirely, but significantly. Cause that’s a major difference I really assumed they survived… wow
Sometimes I watch Cinema Sins, and they point out mistakes of movies. I agree to how age plays a part in analyzing certain scenes. I think this theory is great. I've always thought the bus conversation was a bit odd, considering it's not hard to find out about a bus route 😂😂😂
I thought that they ran to Alomzo to stop him from going after Jason. But after this video, I'm going to have to re-watch the movie. But yall theory is sound. The bandage can be explain by the fact that they may not know they are dead.
I'm fully 50/50 about whether or not I believe the fan theory. I'm literally going to watch this movie again because of your breakdown. I've seen this movie a lot over the years and I also never noticed that no one pays attention to Jason as they leave the house. So hearing the fan theory, my mind was blown. However, there are 2 things that make it a little hard to accept. One being that we don't see or hear the gunshot from Jason. We even see Jason leave the gun in in Josh's hand after Josh shoots Lyric. The 2nd being that the people outside don't pay attention to Jason and Lyric but Josh does. He actually turns and watches Jason walk away while he yells at him. That may be symbolic in a "Josh saw his brother leave him" kinda way. But it felt pretty literal to me. If the crowd could see Jason and Lyric, it would makes sense that Eddie Griffith's character knew what happened. If he saw Lyric shot and then saw Jason's reaction to the other gunshot going off, he could surmise what happened. How would he know what happened because no one actually went inside the house? However, the evidence for the fan theory makes so much sense. Even the fact that Josh didn't chase Jason down while he walked away. I always took that as Josh realizing that he went too far, emotionally. Like he knew he wouldn't get Jason back. But maybe that was intended more literally, like Jason wasn't there to pull back or go after. But I haven't seen the movie in a couple of years at this point, so I clearly need to go watch again. Thanks for this amazing breakdown. This will live rent free in my head.
Sunset…going to sub to your Patreon to give well deserved support…curious to see what other movies you have fan theories on…we still need to rumble over that menace to society theory lol jk

The song 🎵 at the end always made me think it was an afterlife scene! Especially with the flash back in the lily field. Music 🎶 is used as a guide in movies, for example dreadful or sinister 🎶 is a hint/ clue that whoever appeared at the sound of the 🎶 needs to be observed 🧐. No argument here, i love y'all ❤ and im convinced and wrapped up in you alls gift. God 🙌 #SUNSET BEFORE.
Love this channel, its not fair that two people are blessed with superior intelligence like you too! Can yall do a deep dive on the movie Psycho( 2000)? That movie always confuses me and I never knew which scenes were his imagination or real life.
Y’all miss the part where Jason is carrying her out and the ambulance pulls up and the EMT gets out the ambulance and runs to them. So was the EMT an angel? Lol
I'm watching this again ASAP. If I read this as a book instead of watching a popular movie, I like to think I would have linked it to a story about a ghost talking how he became a ghost; even like The Others. A ghost's story! Also, I THINK that might have been poppies, the flower of remembrance. That last scene, al of Jason's pleasant memories combined into an afterlife he wanted; happiness with his younger brother and Mad Dog and finally going somewhere with Lyric. But then again, I never been to the SUNSET BEFO....I know you didn't spell it like that, but I hear it like that...😝🌅
I did think it was weird how Jason and Lyric walk off but they don't grab at Lyric nor did it look as if he was actually walking to the ambulance (forgot to add it LOL but Sunset Before)
Y’all made me go back and rewatch Jason’s Lyric I agree all three are dead but I think that Jason was dead before he entered the house. I think Josh killed him after he found out he was leaving - notice his manic spiral at the bar loading the gun before his murderous rampage. Also Lyric doesn’t acknowledge Jason is there before she gets shot Committing suicide wouldn’t reunite him with Lyric at the end as he’d be traveling someplace else. Either Joshua shot him before killing himself or he got hit by that train he tried jumping past
@@AxiomAmnesia 😅 I promise I was watching and you mentioned them being in the same universe as young Jason, Josh, and mad dog and how the bus they're on doesn't have a destination but maybe my ears blinked and I missed you addressing the bandage. I apologize 😅😅
I love this movie, i have the DVD and seen it so many times. Wow now you two got me thinking about the ending. I honestly believed they survived I never noticed anyone looking or not looking at them.
Why is Jason walking instead of floating away? Ghosts don't have to adhere to any particular dress code or form. They're not confined to our impression of what a ghost has to look like.
If the movie is showing Lyric’s blood why not Jason’s blood. Unfortunately your theory is incorrect. On the bus ride you can clearly see Lyric’s has a bandage on her shoulder and ghost don’t wear bandages in Heaven. 😏
So then you insist that ghosts don't wear bandages? What do ghosts wear then? Have you ever seen a ghost? We specifically answered this question in the video---talked about it at length, but you didn't watch... 🙄 And now you tryna challenge me in the comments... I should spend time answering your questions, but you won't bother to watch what we presented in the video? Umkay...
I argued this with my bf and my brother back in the day because when Jason walks by with Lyric there's what I called black Jesus portrait in the scene and that nobody tried to help them. Thanks for breaking this down.. my brother owes me .
This is a very interesting theory and I'll be sure to watch the movie again to analyze from this perspective. I have one question, though. If they're spirits, why would one of them need to be carried?
Sunset Before I thought about that ending so much over the years. I love Jason and Lyric's love story so either way I'm happy they are together. Great breakdown.
in my opinion i believe this movie is of the original version of what we as the viewers see and a alternate version merged together in one that we didn’t notice as we watched it for the first time. we’re to believe that everything played out in the movie as seen but the alternate version that’s merged with the original version that we didn’t see is all three of them dying with Josh killing Lyric before Jason arrived at the house an Jason and Josh arguing then Jason killed himself… which in the original version of what we see is Josh then killed himself as Jason walked out the house were seeing everything is playing out as normal but at the same time the alternate version that’s merged with the original version is that no one is noticing Jason or Lyric at the end as the brother arrived is what we didn’t actually observe for the time of seeing this movie. overall i loved the movie i love how it’s an american movie that showcased the heart and soul of the negro south of us north americans and the characters were all copper colored americans 🙂
I noticed that no one ran to Jason and Lyric and i thought that was weird but after seeing this it makes sense, but if this could be the case, how did Jason die? Did he shoot himself as well but they didnt show it?
I kept telling my family as a kid that these two died at the end. They all said I was reaching and thinking too deeply into it but no. I felt like that bus was taking them to Heaven. And i also thought Lyric could’ve been a figment of Jason’s imagination from him suffering through PTSD 😩

I remember discussing that they paid no attention to Jason or Lyric with my daughter. The paramedics did nothing!!

Black slave owners aren't spoken of often.
@@AxiomAmnesiabecause white people don't like to think that everyone was a slave or was enslaved at points in each race of people's history.
Black slaver owned slaves to reunite them with family
@AxiomAmnesia don't fall for this agents bs . Thats a tired out narrative. France used hamites to attack shemites to gets us off our land
Sunset Before
Me and my husband watch this movie a lot. I never thought about Jason unaliving himself. Now that I see it this makes sense why her homegirl and brother did not go with Jason to the ambulance. Great Fan Theory.
❤️❤️❤️
I felt like it was made to believe that Lyric was dead and that is why everyone was sad and then eventually Josh committed suicide, not wanting to go back to jail and fearing that this time he would either get life or the death penalty for his actions.
this was sooo good! this was my introduction to this theory and now I have to go down the rabbit hole
Yes!!! Be sure to watch all the different theories linked in the description of this video.
This video has blown me away. Wow. The clues and the last scene have made me re-think the film.
❤️❤️❤️
Sunset Before. I’ve never wanted to go back and immediately rewatch a movie so bad after one of your breakdowns!!!! This all makes a lot of sense and I’m about to rewatch it now
❤️❤️❤️
Also when they got it on in the field, didn't the flowers magically bloom?More magic.😂
Mind blown🤯 I have seen this movie several times and never came to this conclusion.
❤️❤️❤️
I'm definitely gonna to re-watch Jason's Lyric. One of my favorite movies, and I never realized they were spirits. 👻😱
❤️❤️❤️
I was think maybe Eddie Griffith's character saw Jason's and Lyric's dead bodies at the top of the stairs in the house.
Maybe so
Whoa…never noticed that! This is one of my favorites too. Maybe we were too young to realize that.
Yeah. Even the police/medics who were out there with Alonzo didn't get to Lyric to try to initiate life-saving measures.
Thanks!
Thanks so much for supporting the channel! ❤️❤️❤️
A live call-in show would be awesome to discuss some of your more popular movie fan theory videos! Just a suggestion🍿. #MovieFanTheories #LiveShow
Great suggestion if we can get the logistics worked out!
I can see the mom dealing with all the range of emotions; sadness, anger , guilt ect.
I'm still fairly new to the channel, but I love what y'all do...keep it up, guys!! This is an interesting theory; I love how you explain the field scene, which I've never liked until I view it using your theory
Welcome aboard and thanks for watching!
I just seen the ending and when Jason and Lyric first exit the house everyone was looking at them. And then Lyric brother turned his head and look at them walking away. Idk, imma have to disagree with this fan theory.
We talked about this in the video.
Y’all are missing the point where Eddie Griffin character was stopping him from attacking Jason. Why else would they be holding him back???😒
No points missed here... we are talking about a fan theory, not the common interpretation. 😊
We talk about this in the video. You probably haven't gotten to that part yet. 😊
OMG! This makes sooooooo much sense to me! Great analysis!!!!!
❤️❤️❤️
I got a question? if lyrics is dead too couldn't she be walking out with jason? Because Jason shot himself too so they hoth are dead so couldn't lyrics spirit walk out with jason together?
They could have each walked, and he just as well could have carried her. She could have carried him for that matter. I mean, it's the afterlife and they aren't bound to the physics of life on Earth. 😊
@@AxiomAmnesia good point 😂
I pretty much consider you guys as professional movie analysts LOL. Thanks for your attention to detail and explanation.🙂
Wow, thanks!❤️❤️❤️

😊😊😊
I was wondering about that. That to be Alonso sister you would think oh my God my sister's been hurt let me go to her. But then why is everybody trying to hold him back. He didn't even bother the scream "oh my God where is the lyric?" 7:16
Yeah, the reaction was a bit off to me.
You don’t mention that he’s walking the opposite way of where he parked his truck also why wouldn’t he just go get in his truck
Great point!
Literally before he walked pass lonzo every one was looking at them with sad faces.
They're sad because the house got shot up and there are bodies. It's a tragedy. Of course they're sad. 😊
Thanks for bringing this movie back to my attention. This movie is childhood nostalgia for me. Also you two are talking facts at 13:07
❤️❤️❤️
That's true, but she also never interacted with them. Then, if I remember, she you see her still at the back and she is not rushing to save anyone.
Even with the way she looked on the floor after he shot her. I don’t think she survived it either.
❤️❤️❤️
SUNSET BEFORE…. I loved this video, subscribed. Now I have to binge watch the other theories in your playlist!!
Welcome aboard!❤️❤️❤️
The abulance lady said there's one gun shot victim on the way to the hospital. They saw them come out the house that why he said he shot her then him self. When shes on the bus she has a bandage on her spirits dont need a bandage
We talked about this in the video.
Have you seen our theory on Queen & Slim? You might like that one too. ❤️❤️❤️
We talked about the bandage though... Wait until you get to that part of the video.
How do u know what ghost wear
I just commented this same thing! Spirits don't need bandages !!!
I love y'all's channel!!! Keep up the great work!!!!!
Thank you! Will do!❤️❤️❤️
Sunset Before.
❤️
Hey y'all this very good..BRAVO...Another perspective yes
Thanks so much
Sunset Befo' and you guys always have great content and here's why this fan theory is definitely like the easiest one to say wow that makes much sense Treach character Lonzo got mad at Josh when he saw him looking at Lyric so there's no way he would have ignored Jason carrying her out with all the commotion going on especially with ambulance 🚑 at his house and lastly Lonzo girlfriend was close to lyric she definitely would have not ignored her and o yeah y'all breaking down life would be dope here's a suggestion it's an older movie with Ice T called surviving the game you guys breaking that down also be dope but again just a suggestion thanks for the great content well done
This is the most valid fan theory but the thought of it being true makes me really sad 😢😢😢
I’m always interested in your takes 😊
All i can say is Sunset Bee-fooooo😂😂😂i really enjoyed this breakdown
❤️❤️❤️
I would enjoy to hear y’all talk about ‘Life’. And I thoroughly enjoyed this analysis! Also, I was named after this very movie! Lol.
Lyric is such a cool name!!! ❤️❤️❤️
SUNSET BEFORE! This is a great theory. I would love for you guys to do a breakdown on Mad Dog.
❤️❤️❤️
I just watched the ending again and I’m just not getting that Jason was dead too. I think the ending was like a fantasy or a what if.
Sometimes I watch Cinema Sins, and they point out mistakes of movies. I agree to how age plays a part in analyzing certain scenes. I think this theory is great. I've always thought the bus conversation was a bit odd, considering it's not hard to find out about a bus route 😂😂😂
Sunset Before. This is a great fan theory! I can't find the words to disagree. Appreciate it!
Thanks for watching and giving the theory a chance. ❤️❤️❤️
I thought that they ran to Alomzo to stop him from going after Jason. But after this video, I'm going to have to re-watch the movie. But yall theory is sound. The bandage can be explain by the fact that they may not know they are dead.
Yes, watch it again and let us know what you think. ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks so much for supporting the channel. Check the description or look in our list of playlists, and there is a playlist with all of our fan theory videos. ❤️❤️❤️
Omg, now I have to re-watch. Great video!!
Please do!❤️❤️❤️
I always thought aren't you supposed to leave a person still once they've been shot so the bullet does not travel through the body
❤️❤️❤️
Lyric had a bandage covering where she was shot at when they both was on the bus
We discussed this in the video.
@@AxiomAmnesia oh respect 💯❤️
After watching this idk how to feel, imma have to watch it again
Love this channel, its not fair that two people are blessed with superior intelligence like you too! Can yall do a deep dive on the movie Psycho( 2000)? That movie always confuses me and I never knew which scenes were his imagination or real life.
❤️❤️❤️ We will take a look ☺️
Y’all miss the part where Jason is carrying her out and the ambulance pulls up and the EMT gets out the ambulance and runs to them. So was the EMT an angel? Lol
Apparently, you missed the video...
But then again, I never been to the SUNSET BEFO....I know you didn't spell it like that, but I hear it like that...😝🌅
I did think it was weird how Jason and Lyric walk off but they don't grab at Lyric nor did it look as if he was actually walking to the ambulance (forgot to add it LOL but Sunset Before)
Y’all made me go back and rewatch Jason’s Lyric
I agree all three are dead but I think that Jason was dead before he entered the house.
I think Josh killed him after he found out he was leaving - notice his manic spiral at the bar loading the gun before his murderous rampage. Also Lyric doesn’t acknowledge Jason is there before she gets shot
Committing suicide wouldn’t reunite him with Lyric at the end as he’d be traveling someplace else. Either Joshua shot him before killing himself or he got hit by that train he tried jumping past
Definitely cover life
I think we will!
Sunset Before...great analysis!
Glad you liked it!
She did live if you look closely in the last scene her shoulder had the bandage
We talk about this very thing in the video. Maybe you haven't gotten that far to see where we talk about it.
I do like this theory but can you explain the bandage on Lyrics' chest? Ghosts don't need bandages, correct me if I'm wrong...😂😂
😒 Didnt get to that part of the video?
We talked bout it in this video. Keep watching and you'll get to that part! 😊
@@AxiomAmnesia 😅 I promise I was watching and you mentioned them being in the same universe as young Jason, Josh, and mad dog and how the bus they're on doesn't have a destination but maybe my ears blinked and I missed you addressing the bandage. I apologize 😅😅
I was thinkn the same thing 🤔
No worries! 😊 The bandage was a common question, so we made sure to cover it in this updated video.
I love this movie, i have the DVD and seen it so many times. Wow now you two got me thinking about the ending. I honestly believed they survived I never noticed anyone looking or not looking at them.
Where is Jason’s gun shot womb ? When he is walking outside the house
Umkay...
There is nothing to say you can't remake these movies with the context of these theories. . . that's how stories keep going.
I get the fan theory. i think the brother shot jason instead because in the moment, he realized that Jason was really picking lyric over him
I argued this with my bf and my brother back in the day because when Jason walks by with Lyric there's what I called black Jesus portrait in the scene and that nobody tried to help them. Thanks for breaking this down.. my brother owes me .
So do you guys believe that Josh really made it to heaven i think he went to he'll that why he wasn't on the bus
That's open for discussion. Surely the young and innocent Josh was there!
Yea he was or that could the way that Jason decided to remember his brother because Josh went hell and Jason knew that
I really feel in the beginning Jason was already dead just thinking of the memory and then at the end he came to get her life less body 🤔
This is a very interesting theory and I'll be sure to watch the movie again to analyze from this perspective. I have one question, though. If they're spirits, why would one of them need to be carried?
Sunset Before 😍. I have never seen y’all before but black fan theory 😮???? I love this ❤. I am here for it. New Subscriber
Yessss!!! Welcome 😊
Sunset Before
I thought about that ending so much over the years. I love Jason and Lyric's love story so either way I'm happy they are together. Great breakdown.
❤️❤️❤️
in my opinion i believe this movie is of the original version of what we as the viewers see and a alternate version merged together in one that we didn’t notice as we watched it for the first time. we’re to believe that everything played out in the movie as seen but the alternate version that’s merged with the original version that we didn’t see is all three of them dying with Josh killing Lyric before Jason arrived at the house an Jason and Josh arguing then Jason killed himself… which in the original version of what we see is Josh then killed himself as Jason walked out the house were seeing everything is playing out as normal but at the same time the alternate version that’s merged with the original version is that no one is noticing Jason or Lyric at the end as the brother arrived is what we didn’t actually observe for the time of seeing this movie.
overall i loved the movie i love how it’s an american movie that showcased the heart and soul of the negro south of us north americans and the characters were all copper colored americans 🙂
I noticed that no one ran to Jason and Lyric and i thought that was weird but after seeing this it makes sense, but if this could be the case, how did Jason die? Did he shoot himself as well but they didnt show it?
