I was crying watching Madelyn saying goodbye to Nathan and how Scott wanted no part of it.
Nathan aka cable will be okay Bishop will bring him back one day
I can’t blame him. Scott went from being a new dad to finding out his wife is a clone of the woman he thought was his wife & having to give up said son so that he could be cured in the future. That’s ROUGH.
Nothing is more painful to a parent than this, especially hearing the last sounds of your baby makes after saying such goodbyes.
Bishop is going to realize years later that he fought a future version of that Summers kid he took with him to be cured.
He's going to regret saving him as when he returns he steals all of Bishop's time traveling air time.
Now we know why Cable didn’t want to kill Bishop unless he had to in Time Fugitives
Bro Bishop woulda killed cable if bishop really wanted too even before cable could.. lol. Bishop prioritized getting rid of the virus more tho…

Such a heartbreaking scene it just shows that parents especially mothers will do whatever is best for their babies 👶 even if it means separation which is extremely hard for a parent especially a mother.
I wish Wolverine was in the lab scene so that Beast could've extracted his blood and injected it into Nathan because remember when Cable came to the past he was looking for someone that can resist the techno organic virus, realizing it was Wolverine and was able to resist it thanks to his rapid healing factor.
Sadly, the strain Nathan was infected with was more advanced than the strain Wolverine was infected with.
That wouldn’t have worked. If Wolverine’s blood type didn’t match Nathan’s, then his body would reject the transfusion, anyway.

Saying goodbye to your kids is always painful but even more so it's very hard for a parent to have to leave their child to go to the Future to be cured. We can only hope for the best in regards to Nathaniel Summers well known in the future as Cable. This is the mutant known as Prophecy signing off.
This scene was sad as heck, but I know baby Nathan Summers comes back in the future as Cable. 😮😢
Bishops future is the worst future. Nimrod, Sentinels and Mastermold… 😳 it’s ok Bishop is the one watching Cable… Bishop always was the better time traveler.
Gee, this would be a really random way to introduce Hope, Vulcan, Adam and Rachel later on, in that EXACT order, just to mess with everyone.
They did said they're adapting more late 80s early 90s stuff, nothing from the 2000s or more modern stuff.

Sinister planned all of this, including sending Nathan to the future. The real jean escapes as soon as Nathan is born and Bishop's time travel band is repaired, convenient. Sinister was probably using Madelyn to spy and devise when he could make his moves. He told Madelyn he owns and controls every cell in her body so she might think the future idea was hers but it was really Sinister's. Sinister is also immortal so what is it to send a "project" a few decades into the future and collect it later when no Original X-men are present to interfere. He also said " they have no idea of the future I have planned for them" before they got Nathan back.
It was Apocalypse who poison Nathan!!
As a parent this part gets me emotional every time.
Time travel so beast could have made another device after fixing bishop device and they could go into the future to look for cable

Nope, I would travel to the future with my child. Not abandoning him for any reason.
Except the future guy didn't have enough energy in his machine to take both Scott and Jean. Or even just one of them. It was a no win scenario; either let him go to the future and live. Or let him stay in the present and die.

That's Jean Grey right?
Kind of. She's a clone of Jean Grey. In the show, she didn't know until recently that she was a clone. Then after saving her baby decided to change her name to Madelyn and leave.

Normally Cable's deal is that he uses his powers to stop the virus from spreading to his body completely, hence why his robot arm.

@@uncannydcmarvelous5732 Look, I just can’t help but wonder why it is that they decided to bring baby Nathan to Forge in the future while he’s already a super genius in the present (though if I had to guess it’s probably because Forge likely wouldn’t yet know how to save Nathan in the present)
Don't like this at all it was Jean and Scott raise Nathan in the future!!
Nothing new since the 90s series also deviated a bit from the comics
